Anyone still watching? I am not sure how I feel about giving her a pain pill addiction. Maybe it's more the way they protrayed it. There is so much jammed into a 30 mins episode it's almost overwhelming. Part of me misses the simple entertainment vs so many heavy issues. I still like it, i don't follow anyone's twitters, or politics or anything so I watch the show without all the constroversy people bring up here. While her real life persona disgusts me, I do love the show. I like the dynamic between Becky and Darlene. I love John Goodman too. I could totally see Roseanne getting hooked on pills. She has a crappy life (in her mind) and they struggle all the time. Last week, Dan lost a bid and they are on food stamps. Roseanne would easily try to forget all of that in the guise of knee pain.

My cousin just used her fingers and conditioner to style her her hair, but she had to comb it at least once a day to keep it from forming dreadlocks. I think she slept with it pinned up. My son had that perfect ringlet hair. It was perfect. He is now going bald and those curls are fading away. Huh. If I forced a comb through my hair, it would end up looking like fuzz. Different strokes, I suppose. Interesting, When my grandmother used to try to force a comb through her hair, she'd simply break the comb. I own a comb with the alrgest gaps I could find and can only use it straight out of the shower. Now, a brush is something I never, ever use. Apparently the curly hair tangent is the only thing I am qualified to discuss in this thread.

My sister has crazy curly hair and she always combs/brushes it fresh out of the shower when her hair is wet and freshly conditioned. After that it's products and finger combing as well. But she hates the feeling of hair that is never combed/brushed.

Then turn into a bozo the clown type look fuzzy at the edges and flat on top.

I am enjoying the reboot. I love the sibling banter, and the interactions between all the characters. In the original series they were not afraid to bring up "hot" topics, and I am glad they are continuing to weave modern day ones into their story lines. The Muslim neighbours, the fear of being beat out of bids by competitors using undocumented labor and opiod abuse fit right in.

That's when I realized that the brush was not my friend.
