Sort of off the topic of politics.... MSNBC.... “BREAKING: Southwest plane makes emergency landing at Philadelphia Airport after reportedly depressurizing mid-flight. The father of a female passenger said she was partially sucked out of the plane, but then pull backed by other passengers, WCAU reports.” This would be my absolute nightmare in a plane. OMG! There goes Trump's perfect aviation safety record! 🙄

Rebecca Ballhaus.... “The Trump campaign appears to be covering Keith Schiller’s legal fees, paying $66,000 in January to Schertler & Onorato, the law firm representing Schiller in the Russia probe, per FEC filings. Meanwhile, the RNC has paid Keith Schiller’s security firm $90,000 since last fall.” I had to look Schiller up as there are so many. He is the ex trump bodyguard. They’re probably paying his fees so that the bodyguard doesn’t talk!

The campaign has spent around $835,000 in legal fees in the first few months of 2018.The money was divided up between at least eight different firms and the Trump Corporation, according to an analysis from Buzzfeed. Trump is in the middle of a costly legal battle with adult film star Stormy Daniels, who is suing the president to get out of a nondisclosure agreement he didn’t sign. Daniels alleges she had an affair with Trump and was paid “hush money” by his personal lawyer to keep quiet about the relationship. The two legal firms involved in the fight with Daniels — Harding LLP and Larocca, Hornik, Rosen, Greenberg & Blaha — were paid a combined total of $280,000. The most donor spending — $350,000 — went to Jones Day, the firm that has represented the Trump campaign since the 2016 election and handled all litigation relating to it, Buzzfeed reported. About $125,000 was spent by the campaign at Trump-owned businesses, hotels and restaurants. The campaign has also made 20 different purchases from Amazon, notable because the president has been attacking the company on Twitter this month. thehill.com/homenews/administration/383279-more-than-20-percent-of-trump-2020-campaign-spending-has-gone-to

This really bugs trump...
“Rasmussen just came out at 51% Approval despite the Fake News Media. They were one of the three most accurate on Election Day. Just about the most inaccurate were CNN and ABC News/Washington Post, and they haven’t changed (get new pollsters). Much of the media is a Scam!”
FiveThrityEight still has him at an average approval of 40.7%.

Am I the only one who think that Nikki Haley will enter the presidential race in 2020 . i thought that when she accepted the nomination. She is going to have to work to seperate herself from the administration.

linkSecond Nexus.... “Israeli Intelligence Says Syria Strike Touted by Donald Trump Was a Failure” From the article.... “Still, it is obvious to us that this attack does not increase America’s deterrent capacity in the region in any significant way, nor does it indicate whether President Donald Trump is planning what we would like to see happen in the future.” Once the dust settles, it will become clear that President Trump did the minimum he could, which is far from what really needs to happen in order to rein in Bashar al-Assad, Putin and Nasrallah.”The official referred to Syrian President Bashar al-Assad, Russian President Vladimir Putin and Hezbollah Secretary-General Hassan Nasrallah, all seen by Israel as central to any current conflicts in Syria.” Oops!

“Funny how when James @comey writes a book about the 2016 election and how he lost his dream job and drank wine nobody tells him to go walk in the woods and keep quiet.”
Got a point.

This has been talked about before but to see the statement is all too real. The case was dropped after the witness was threatened with her life. This fucking disgusting excuse for a human needs to be in jail with his “best buddy and great guy” Epstein. And more: Whoa! Somehow I missed this before. imsirius can you cite a source for this? Thank you for this!! THIS is exactly the stuff that had NY buzzing since the 1980's! I hope that he pays for these crimes (that he seems to recall in great detail) one day soon!

McConnell is the WORST. Even if the president vetoes it. It gets bounced back to hem and they can override with 67 votes I think (please correct me if I’m wrong). So his stance of not wanting to bring something for a vote that’s not likely to get signed by he president is BULLSHIT! I hate him sooo much. More so than anyone else in congress (and almost as much as I hate the man in the White House). He is the 1 person I would love to see booted out of congress. Never going to happen though, because apparently Kentucky loves him. 😡

linkI preach and bitch that people should be aware of what is happening. But when I read shit like this sometimes I wish I could just live in my little bubble and not know what is happening outside my bubble because it’s just so damn depressing that we as country do things like this. From Mother Jones.... “In one of the most fracked counties in the country, a fight is underway between environmental justice advocates and the Colorado commission that oversees oil and gas development. Four environmental and civil rights groups are suing the commission for allowing a company to build 24 oil and gas wells by a public school in a low-income area—after the same company tossed its original plans to build near a charter school serving mostly white, middle-class families.“

“There is a Revolution going on in California. Soooo many Sanctuary areas want OUT of this ridiculous, crime infested & breeding concept. Jerry Brown is trying to back out of the National Guard at the Border, but the people of the State are not happy. Want Security & Safety NOW!”
Listen you dumb ass the only way this country will have security and safety is when you are no longer president. Signed one of “the people” who is happy with what Governor Brown is doing in this State.

“States and Cities throughout our Country are being cheated and treated so badly by online retailers. Very unfair to traditional tax paying stores!”
Since when did you care about an entity being “cheated and treated so badly”? I mean you, as a businessman” have a long history of cheating and treating your vendors badly.

SE Cupp: The White House response to Haley is pure sexismBy SE Cupp Updated 1:29 PM ET, Wed April 18, 2018 Editor's Note:SE Cupp is a CNN political commentator and the host of "S.E. Cupp Unfiltered," covering contemporary issues on HLN. The views expressed in this commentary are solely hers. (CNN)I'm not prone to cry sexism, and I don't do it often or lightly. But there's no other word to describe the way President Donald Trump and his advisers have treated a woman who is arguably his strongest, most competent and effective Cabinet official. Nikki Haley, US ambassador to the United Nations, was not only hung out to dry by the Trump administration, she was then dismissed and head-patted by an old boys' club Trump adviser who thought he could. And it was shameful. ** Clearly, Haley didn't invent this idea out of thin air. In fact, the White House reportedly told surrogates Saturday that sanctions were coming. "We also intend to impose specific additional sanctions against Russia to respond to Moscow's ongoing support for the Assad regime, which has enabled the regime's atrocities against the Syrian people," said a document distributed by the Republican National Committee. And the Russian newspaper Kommersant published a report that Sunday claiming Jon Huntsman Jr., the US ambassador to Russia, had also delivered a formal letter to Moscow warning of impending new US penalties over "support of the Syrian regime," according to NPR. And yet Monday came and went with no sanctions. So, when it came time for White House officials to answer for this, instead of shouldering the obvious blame for poor communication with one of Trump's top officials, or admitting they had simply changed their minds, they threw Haley under the bus. White House press secretary Sarah Sanders said the administration was "considering additional sanctions on Russia," but that a decision hadn't yet been made. And two senior administration officials told CNN on Tuesday that Trump had not signed off on the new sanctions and suggested that "Haley must have walked away from a Friday White House meeting about the sanctions having misunderstood how firm the plans were." Then came Larry Kudlow, Trump's top economic adviser. "She got ahead of the curve," he insisted before offering, "She's done a great job, she's a very effective ambassador. There might have been some momentary confusion about that."** The whole spectacle was not only embarrassing for spotlighting the lack of organization among the men running Trump's bumbling White House, but for its naked attempt to deflect that by making it all Haley's fault for getting, like, confused and stuff. Fortunately, Haley was quick to put Kudlow and the rest in their place: "With all due respect, I don't get confused."It was the perfect rebuttal, only I'd have left out the respect bit. They don't deserve hers because she clearly doesn't have theirs. More at link: www.cnn.com/2018/04/18/opinions/nikki-haley-white-house-sexism-opinion-cupp/index.htmlNot my favorite person but she sure responded well!
