The HillEveryone has an opinion including this woman from The Hill. “ The great exodus out of America's blue cities”
Her reasons for the great exodus... From the article.. “These facts are not coincidences. In fact, in 2016 the Golden State lost almost 143,000 net residents to other states - that figure is an 11 percent increase from 2015. Between 2005 and 2015, Los Angeles and San Francisco alone lost 250,000 residents. The largest socioeconomic segment moving from California is the upper-middle class. The state is home to some of the most burdensome taxes and regulations in the nation. Meanwhile, its social engineering - from green energy to wealth redistribution - have made many working families poorer. As California begins its long decline, the influx outward is picking up in earnest. The only way to slow the great exodus out of America's blue meccas is to make these areas more affordable for middle-class families; the most significant way to do that is to lower state and city income taxes. And if residents don't want to be "double taxed" following the removal of SALT deductions, the solution is simple: remove state and city income taxes altogether.“ While she is correct that folks are leaving California, the main reason is not what she is saying above. It’s actually quite simple why folks are leaving. The high cost of housing. Sonoma County along with Solano County have always been the poorest of the SF Bay Area counties. Not so much anymore. Today I read a little snippet about new housing in Sonoma County starting at $540,000 up to $1M. For your basic cookie cutter home on a small lot. Rents are just as high starting at $1,800 on up. Mostly up, way up. Who wants to live in an area where, if you’re lucky, the bulk of your income goes to the cost of housing? People are starting to protest, not because of taxes and regulations, but because of the lack of affordable housing. And this all started with the higher wages paid to the tech workers/ skilled workers. Homeowners & landlords knew about this influx of higher wages and increased the price of their homes they were selling and rent they were charging accordingly. The author of this opinion piece is Kristin Tate who is a conservative-libertarian columnist. So of course she would zero in on taxes and regulations. The scary thing for areas that are getting these transplants is the same problems giving these guys the incentives to move will more than likely follow them to their new state. The cost of housing.

Newsweek...
“Bernie Sanders camp says ending superdelegate ‘debacle’ key to defeating Trump in 2020 bit.ly/2qWT8H8”
Poor Bernie, he thinks he was done in by those super delegates. Poor Bernie, thinks he was done in because in some states only registered Democrats could vote for the Democratic Nominee for president. Go figure.
Poor Bernie.
People criticize the hell out of Hillary when she talked about why she lost. But when Bernie goes on about it he gets a pass. Even though 3 million more Democrats voted for Hillary than Bernie in the primaries. In reality Hillary had the odds stacked against her, some she did to herself no question, then Bernie’s alternative facts scenario. But you know, since it’s Hillary, she isn’t allowed to talk about it.

Chelsea Clinton... “Hi @amychozick! Hearing there are more tidbits about me in your book which were easily fact checked and you fact checked...none of them. Here’s an easy one: I’ve never gotten hair keratin treatment. The others would have been equally easy!” In case one is wondering who Amy Chozick is... “.@nymag calls CHASING HILLARY "a sort-of 'Bridget Jones’s Diary' meets 'What it Takes' coming-of-age rom-com set on the campaign trail, with a tragic twist at the end (spoiler alert: Clinton lost)." Ouch.

The funny thing about the 'dandruff' is this: Macron is a smart dude. A really, really smart dude. I don't know why exactly he decided to come over now, or what his goal is. But I know - without a doubt - that Macron has something in mind that he wants out of Trump. And he's got a plan to get it. He's going to play the game, flattering the fool and letting him think he's getting a 'deal' of some sort, because he's such a great dealmaker. Trump is getting played and he has no idea that he's the rube.
Macron is intelligent, and Trump is Trump. I fully expect to see a Tweet after Macron leaves: "Screwy Macron just agreed to buy back the Louisiana purchase for $30 million, more than twice what we paid for it. What a sucker. SAD!"

Maybe parts of the US could be put into "foster care" with their former owners until this Trump mess is over. He's clearly an unfit parent. England can take the original 13 colonies, Spain can have Florida, France the Louisiana Purchase territories, Mexico can take Texas and most of the southwest ... just until things settle down and a responsible adult is in charge again.

THIS is getting serious... Although, there should be paperwork/documentation somewhere.... Trump's VA nominee allegedly banged on female employee's hotel door while drunk: report BY MAX GREENWOOD - 04/24/18 09:23 PM EDT Rear Adm. Ronny Jackson, President Trump's pick to become the next Veterans Affairs (VA) Secretary, got drunk and banged on the hotel room door of a female employee during an overseas trip in 2015, CNN reported. The Secret Service intervened after Jackson's actions became so loud that agents worried he would wake up then-President Obama, according to CNN. The incident made the female employee uncomfortable, and one former staffer told CNN that it was "definitely inappropriate, in the middle of the night." The account of the incident comes as Jackson faces a number of allegations of inappropriate conduct, including that he drank on the job, overprescribed drugs and created a hostile work environment. Neither the White House nor the Secret Service responded to CNN's requests for comment. ** Sen. Jerry Moran (R-Kan.) told CNN that he had spoke to Jackson, who denied the misconduct allegations. ** thehill.com/homenews/administration/384743-trumps-va-nominee-allegedly-banged-on-staffers-hotel-door-while-drunk

Why wasn't he reprimanded, written up, demoted, whatever the heck you'd call it in the service?? THAT is hilarious!

But of course that is one of the reasons that some things were not reported. Speaking out in the military can affect your career as well as others. Think about what has happened to some of the women who have reported assaults/rape being dismissed, not believed and loosing their standing and/or careers... IF true, Jackson has skated for years... when he should have been gone, not promoted recently to Rear Admiral ... Loss of rank and/or part of his pension reduced with reduced rank. Also IF it is true how did the Secret Service allow him to stay near the President and White House?! Their primary, really only, job is to keep the President and family SAFE!

Kyle Griffin....
“Mick Mulvaney told banking industry executives and lobbyists today that they should increase their campaign donations to influence lawmakers, revealing that he would meet only with lobbyists who contributed to his campaign when he served in the House.”
It seems we have trump to thank for two things.
1. Permission for white nationalist to crawl out from the sewer.
2. Bringing corruption front and center with no consequences.

another snippet of info I heard from that report is that on one occasion they needed to get some first aid supplies from Jackson's medical bag while they were traveling. He didn't answer when they knocked on the door of his togel room because he was passed out drunk... so they got the medical supplies they needed from his bag and left his room. ?!?!? seriously?? If I was drunk on MY job, I'd be gone instantly!! And my job doesn't have ANYTHING to do with keeping the President healthy!

Made the Hill Mulvaney to bankers: Campaign donations will help limit consumer bureau's powerBY LUIS SANCHEZ - 04/24/18 09:26 PM EDT Mulvaney told more than a thousand bankers and lobbyists at an American Bankers Association conference in Washington that when he was a congressman he only talked to lobbyists that had given him money, according to the Times. For Mulvaney, trying to sway legislators through donations is one of the “fundamental underpinnings of our representative democracy,” the Times reported. Payday lenders gave Mulvaney nearly $63,000, according to the Times. thehill.com/homenews/administration/384742-mulvaney-to-bankers-campaign-donations-will-help-limit-consumerI cannot remember the details, but didn't he stop/rescind the regulations to curtail the payday lenders?!?! Military culture certainly has aspects where drinking socially is ingrained. And it’s accepted and tolerated until something happens that forces it to be addressed a DUI, a public incident etc. (remember the comments he made that got him sacked were made by Gen Mcchrystal when he was drinking with a reporter). There’s drunk on duty, ie this dr was treating patients drunk, or he was drinking in a social setting and had to sleep it off and it was awkward? I have no idea how many physicians, surgeons, nurses, corpsmen etc are on call with POTUS, there must be some rotation of shifts, they can’t all be 24/7/365. But you’d think the presidents’ personal physician would be “on duty” always when in proximity. From the news reports it sounds like the presidents themselves were recommending for promotion/signing the fitness reports, so who would one go to over his head to lodge a complaint? And by all accounts he’s a charming, likeable good dr, so complaints aren’t going to go far when the POTUS is saying otherwise?

Here is what CA will do...
SACRAMENTO, Calif. -- Advocates looking for California to secede from the United States can begin collecting signatures for a longshot initiative asking voters to weigh in, Secretary of State Alex Padilla said Monday.
The proposed initiative is the third so-called Calexit proposal since President Donald Trump's election. Previous efforts were withdrawn or failed to gather the required signatures.
The latest would ask voters about secession in 2020. If it passed, a second election would be held a year later asking voters to affirm the decision.
Marcus Ruiz Evans, co-founder of the group Yes California, said the second vote would show that Californians are serious about secession and would strengthen the case for foreign governments to recognize the state's independence.
