linkFrom NBC News.... “Kelly thinks he's saving U.S. from disaster, calls Trump 'idiot,' say White House staffers“From the article.... “Some current and former officials said they expect Kelly to leave by July, and that Trump and Kelly seem to have tired of each other.” “WASHINGTON — White House chief of staff John Kelly has eroded morale in the West Wing in recent months with comments to aides that include insulting the president's intelligence and casting himself as the savior of the country, according to eight current and former White House officials. The officials said Kelly portrays himself to Trump administration aides as the lone bulwark against catastrophe, curbing the erratic urges of a president who has a questionable grasp on policy issues and the functions of government. He has referred to Trump as "an idiot" multiple times to underscore his point, according to four officials who say they've witnessed the comments. Kelly called the allegations "total BS." "I spend more time with the president than anyone else and we have an incredibly candid and strong relationship," said Kelly in a statement. "He always knows where I stand and he and I both know this story is total BS. I am committed to the president, his agenda, and our country. This is another pathetic attempt to smear people close to President Trump and distract from the administration’s many successes." Three White House spokespeople said they don't believe it's accurate that Kelly called the president an "idiot," adding that none of them has ever heard him do that or otherwise use that word. Officials said Kelly's public image as a retired four-star general instilling discipline on a chaotic White House and an impulsive president belies what they describe as the undisciplined and indiscreet approach he's employed as chief of staff. The private manner aides describe may shed new light on why Kelly now finds himself — just nine months into the job — grappling with diminished influence and a drumbeat of questions about how long he'll remain at the White House.” This one of the reasons I want trump gone. This stupid petty stuff that surrounds him and does nothing but erodes the prestige of the office of President. And that's the entire purpose of planting and reporting these fake news stories. If that was the tactic being used against someone you WANTED in office, would you have the same reaction to this? Would you say I want my guy/gal gone because this keeps happening and it's eroding the office of the President?

In VA secretary scandals, it's veterans who suffer 12:35 AM EDT May 1, 2018 Editor's Note: Paul Rieckhoff is founder and CEO of Iraq and Afghanistan Veterans of America (IAVA), an Iraq veteran and the author of "Chasing Ghosts: Failures and Facades in Iraq: A Soldier's Perspective." The views expressed in this commentary are his own.
Over the last week, the national media turned its attention to our veterans. Unfortunately, it was not because of new studies about the problem of veteran suicide, or to draw attention to the national movement to legalize medical marijuana to safely treat injuries of war. It was because President Trump nominated his personal doctor, Rear Adm. Ronny Jackson, to head the Department of Veterans Affairs. He was underqualified from the start, which for most veterans is much more troubling than the controversial accusations that led to Jackson's withdrawal. Even before the scandal unfolded, Iraq and Afghanistan Veterans of America (IAVA) surveyed veterans nationwide and found that only a small group of post-9/11 veterans supported Dr. Jackson's nomination. The drama may have died down in the media, but it's still front and center for millions of veterans and hundreds of thousands of dedicated VA employees nationwide, who now face the prospect of a stunning eighth nominee for VA secretary since 9/11. This painful and tumultuous Ronny Jackson chapter for VA and our nation's veterans has come to an end. But the volatile, damaging saga continues. After Secretary David Shulkin's controversies -- including allegations of misusing taxpayer funds — and eventual exit consumed weeks of headlines, Jackson's controversies consumed still more. It's been an unprecedented two months of chaos, political agendas and uncertainty. And millions of veterans and their families have paid the price. In the few weeks since Dr. Jackson was first nominated by President Trump, an estimated 333,502 veterans were waiting for disability claims with the VA, 11,000 veterans started using the GI Bill to pay for college, 60,000 veterans in suicidal crisis called the Veterans Crisis Line, and 600 veterans died by suicide. The secretary of the VA is responsible for the second largest department in the federal government — one with a budget of more than $180 billion and over 300,000 staff, the welfare of millions of our brother and sister veterans, and critical programs like the Post-9/11 GI Bill and cemeteries nationwide. And the VA secretary is one of the single most important voices in America for all veterans. But instead of stability, leadership and solutions, veterans once again face uncertainty. Our community is exhausted by the unnecessary and seemingly never-ending reality show-type drama. VA's reputation is damaged, staff is demoralized, momentum is stalled and the future is shockingly unclear. This year of failures and debacles has been exhausting, and veterans nationwide still have grueling challenges ahead of us to ensure we get the care and resources we were promised. And yet again, our energy is drained by another senseless political scandal — one that could have easily been avoided. Our veterans deserve better. We are simply looking for a competent, proven and dynamic leader with integrity that can lead our nation forward out of this storm of darkness and into a brighter future. Hundreds of thousands of IAVA members nationwide are standing by to help the President find and vet a man or woman who is up to this historic leadership challenge. More than ever before, we need someone who can ensure VA stands most of all, for Veterans Advocate. And we need the President to do the same. In the meantime, we will continue to share our voices, unite our community and fill in the gaps as best we can. We call on all Americans now to answer the call in this time of need and support our VA staff, our non-profit service providers and our veterans service organizations across America. Read the questions asked by hundreds of veterans and active military nationwide. Demand answers. All of us on the frontlines of veterans support, healthcare and empowerment need reinforcements now more than ever. © 2018 Cable News Network, Inc. A Time Warner Company. All Rights Reserved.

Well I think POTUS should reveal what he knows about Sen Tester that would keep him from being re elected ever again. Certainly the voters in Montana have a right to know, and certainly the POTUS shouldn’t knowingly withhold that information.

How many times has this administration denied something, only to turn around a day or a week later and acknowledge the truth?

Do you agree that trump lies? This is not a question meant for understanding and discussion. YOU in particular do not want understanding, do not want conversation, you want submission. You have admitted you were wrong here exactly once. And that was only recently and I believe it was someone (for lack of a better classification) on the "same side" as you. Up until then AND since then, in your mind, you are never wrong. I have had 10 too many "discussions" with you, where you become irrational and insist something is so in the face of irrefutable FACTS that contradict your claim. And then insist I prove YOUR claim and I'm lazy if I don't. You're aggressive and insulting when people (not just me) don't submit to your opinions.

Well someone is a little testy or she don’t want to answer the question. I wonder which one it is. I fully believe that are witnessing a resurgence of certain peas with their liberal bashing both here and on their precious conservative thread, because their thread is lacking the great discussions that we all have been having, without the drama of their deflection and topic changes. They cannot stand that the liberals can have threads with great, drama free discussions that go on for pages. They Thrive on bashing the liberals and they just are not getting the big chances to do it on their conservative thread (they are but the liberals are staying out of the fray) so they’ve amped up their “lather, rinse, repeat rhetoric” bullcrap elsewhere so that they can try to get a rise out of the liberal group. It’s hilarious that they will even bend to create fake drama—specifically bashing the liberal peas for not starting a thread regarding the Most Wonderful Historically Fabulous Trump Gets Full Credit For Solving All Of North and South Korea ‘s Problems!!! You all want to Fawn all over that—start your own damn thread!! Conservatives likely are not starting threads about politics because truly, the administration is a cluster fuck and they know it. But they’ll stoop to blaming the liberals for their lack of inaction, than face the reality—this administration just plain sucks and there is nothing much to celebrate. While liberal peas might be discussing the tearing down of the USA with horrors and ugliness of the current administration, there a some conservative peas whose only mission is to constantly tear down the more liberal peas here. The conservative peas know they can start their own threads at any given time, discuss on any thread anything they want, but they’d much rather be passive and whine as to why the liberals won’t start the threads on “How Great Thou Art” when it comes to the doofus in office, whine that if they did start threads the mean liberals would come on it and ruin them (yet it doesn’t stop them from doing it). And to be crystal clear, I stated “some” conservatives, and not all.

You expect people to believe these “facts” you present but you offer nothing but you saying so as your proof.

I would think it would be very easy for you to find since you claim it’s out there. But instead of simply providing at least one example you go off on a rant. Which means you are making this all up. As far as you providing links. You know that post you did about the “possibility” it was all Comey’s fault trump felt it was ok to have private meetings? When I first saw the post I thought “Wow! She actually included a link.” I was really surprised.

Lol. Fake news. What makes you think all these stories are fake? Kelly himself said it wasn't true. And the world leader that also had to correct the false reports about his relationship with Trump that I can't remember who it was right now on camera saying the reports weren't true. When you have Snopes, Harvard, the NY Times, Left leaning news people, etc. saying that the media is too often misrepresenting the story and people involved in false stories about Trump coming out and correcting the blatant misinformation you have to stop pretending it isn't happening. Kelly is a LIAR. Once you lie everything else you claim is true is suspect. He is a liar. Fact. SaveSave

And that's on topic because as you said "Once you lie everything else you claim is true is suspect. He is a liar." She is a much bigger liar than General Kelly by a landslide, and the comparison matters in your assertion.

I despise SHS, and am not sure how she sleeps at night, but I don't like it when they make fun of her looks. She is appropriately dressed and takes care with her appearance. Her actions and words give us a million ways to rib her, I just don't think this should be one of them. eta: And this is not at all meant to be a hands lap to any peas, I'm referring to the media. Why? Honest to God real question. If you think the media portraying Sarah Huckabee Sanders as a fat pig is wrong, why are you specifically giving a pass to the Pea that brought it here to portray her as a fat pig?

Fact We know that from the Johnson/Niger/Rep Frederica Wilson thing, 20 lies in 4 minutes (press conference 10/20/17) and as recently as Feb with asking WH staff to lie about him taking direct action against Porter.

And I don't think you understand the meaning of stalker.

I had forgotten about that. And if I remember correctly he wouldn’t back down after he he was proven wrong.
