Is poor Nicholas Whitchall there having to come up with some banal running commentary about nothing until we get some news? No, It was some lady I have never heard of. She was giving us 'all labors are different' talks Well thank goodness she was there to inform everyone of that!

Yay! Well done that woman (and every woman lucky enough to have children). I suppose we will see her leaving the hospital soon.
Please, not Albert or Arthur!

Wow, how fast. She is amazing. And then walk out of the hospital an hr later? I suck at pregnancy. Even though she's a royal and gets all the perks, hairdresser etc, Even that wouldn't have helped me!! HA!!

Wow, how fast. She is amazing. And then walk out of the hospital an hr later?!No, she's still in there as far as I know. She could have gone into labour much earlier than the time she went into hospital. It is quite normal not to go to the hospital until well into labour here, very often when your waters break or contractions are coming at a frequent pace.

I'm hoping the name isn't Arthur or Albert. I'm going for Christopher.

Prince George and Princess Charlotte arrive to see their new baby brother ...straight from school by the look of what they are wearing. Life is obviously normal in the Royal household when mummy has a new baby

I saw the news via Savannah Guthrie's IG post that I thought was funny... I can only imagine how a midwesterner's English version of a press release would read. http://instagr.am/p/Bh6ZSUeBrlB

We should find out his name pretty soon. I just checked - last time we were posting the name about 4 hours after the announcement of the birth ETA just looked again...I was wrong, I didn't read the dates correctly
