hmmm. Trying to avoid World War III? ETA unlike us, who apparently can't be bothered. I Know, I get it. They are diplomats and are professionals. And yet some how I’m just waiting for someone somewhere to just be like “ummm, you know that’s super stupid right Mr Trump? Like bigly stupid?” Because you know they are all thinking it. And I really want his speeches to be televised with a little square in the corner and Mr Bean interpreting that word salad live for us to understand. You don’t understand how much I would pay for that on pay per view. Right there with you.

The Hill... “President Trump on Wednesday inaccurately claimed numerous times that military personnel had not received a pay raise in 10 years, though the Pentagon has enacted raises every year for the past decade. "We just approved $700 billion for our military so we're going to be having the best equipment ever and next year $716 billion. ... That also includes raises for our military. First time in 10 years," Trump said while hosting military mothers and spouses at the White House. Trump was referring to the fiscal 2018 defense spending bill known as the National Defense Authorization Act (NDAA), signed by Trump earlier this year, that included a 2.4-percent pay increase for troops.” Does he have to lie about EVERYTHING? [bold mine] Well, President Obama counts for eight years and then the election kinda’ sorta’ two years ago. There’re his ten years. It’s always code for one or another of those obsessive themes swimming around in that head of his.

I hate that, call it what it is. Trump lied about military pay claims. The speech writers don't draw numbers out of a hat, they come up with them somehow and any research on the subject would have shown them the recent raises. So a decision was made to lie.

I'd settle for someone translating his lies to facts. Here you go! Excellent. We need it every time he opens his mouth or spews out his hateful tweets. They could work with the websites dedicated to keeping track of his lies. My best friend, when we are discussing politics has this thing she does. She pretends she's tapping a microphone and asks "is this thing on?" That's how I felt watching this, that's how I feel all the time. How is this not being called out consistently in the media? Why does the WH press corp back down when SHS spouts out another denial of an obvious and provable lie? Why aren't all Republicans completely pissed that he is ruining the reputation of their party? I am just confounded.

has anyone found out where the money went AFTER Cohen? after all, he needed to get a second mortgage for the $130,000 payment to Stormy Daniels, so... he must not have kept any of the tens of thousands he was being paid... therefore, the money went somewhere, right?
I'll give you three guesses, and the first two don't count...

Ana Navarro... “Can u imagine how Republicans in Congress would react if a Russian oligarch sectioned by the US Govt had paid Hillary Clinton’s personal fixer $500k, after she was elected President? They’d be setting their hair on fire, rightly so. Instead, all we’re getting is crickets... 🦗 🦗” Yup. Yes and it's all making sense now. The GOP has russian money in their hands. I'm convinced this is why they have been so complacent with everything. Of course they have! And, what I’d like to know is where are the democrats? They should be hollering from every rooftop and street corner. Their silence in all of this allows everybody to think there is nothing nefarious going on. Time to start pounding the drum!

linkThe Hill.. “Pence on Mueller investigation: ‘It’s time to wrap it up’”
“Vice President Pence on Thursday urged special counsel Robert Mueller to conclude his investigation into Russian interference in the 2016 presidential election, saying that doing so would be in the "interest of the country." "What I think is that it's been about a year since this investigation began," Pence said in an interview on NBC's "Today" show. "Our administration has provided over a million documents, we've fully cooperated in it and in the interest of the country, I think it's time to wrap it up." "And I would very respectfully encourage the special counsel and his team to bring their work to completion," he added. Pence said that the Trump administration has so far been fully cooperative with Mueller's probe, and that it would continue to be. “ Translation: Wrap it up! Even though it beginning to look like this guy is one of the most corrupted individuals around. What is not in the best interests of this country is not letting the investigation run its course so the American people know the truth. One way or the other.

Bill Kristol......
“Pence has no idea whether “it’s time to wrap it up” since he has no idea how much more time Mueller needs to get to the truth. Unless he doesn’t care if Mueller gets to the truth. Or would prefer he not.”
You would think the Republicans would understand how important it is for this country to know the truth. That is unless they already know the truth and don’t want it to get out.

This one from trump...
“Senator Cryin’ Chuck Schumer fought hard against the Bad Iran Deal, even going at it with President Obama, & then Voted AGAINST it! Now he says I should not have terminated the deal - but he doesn’t really believe that! Same with Comey. Thought he was terrible until I fired him!”
Prompted this response from Senator Schumer...
“#BeBest”
And Schumer for the win!
And this exactly why “#BeBest” coming from the current White House is a big fat joke.

I know waiting is frustrating, but the estimated time frame was possibly 18 months. Personal experience, grand juries sit for 18 months. This is a huge case and may take longer.

Sounds like the investigation is getting a little too hot for Pence. Never forget who brought him on board: Manafort.

“Pence on Mueller investigation: ‘It’s time to wrap it up’”
“Vice President Pence on Thursday urged special counsel Robert Mueller to conclude his investigation into Russian interference in the 2016 presidential election, saying that doing so would be in the "interest of the country." Oh, I'd love to see Mueller 'wrap it up' soon. Preferably with it leading to several people leaving the White House in handcuffs!

I get that human nature wants a quick wrap up of things. Esp if it's your neck (or your "team") on the line. Especially as out of the loop, just citizens. But Pence (and others) as politician/insider should know it takes time and zip it- let it come to it's natural conclusion. That's his job. and he knows other investigations took for.ever. That's the nature of the beast.
but I guess so is, spin, spin, spin for your side.

Let's ask Ken Starr how long an investigation takes and his wasn't nearly as convoluted as this one is.

Something to ponder...
Rula Jebreal...
“The Art of Regime Change Bowing out of the Iran deal will be Trump's most consequential foreign-policy blunder: -Saudi Arabia ready to build nuclear weapons: -Israel escalates missile strikes into Syria -Iran retaliates, sending 50 missiles into the Golan. Expanding ME Wars.”

That is unless they already know the truth and don’t want it to get out. Exactly. From what I can gather their attempts to gather evidence are still fruitful, they're not just grasping at straws since they can't find anything. Evidence A lead to Evidence B is leading to Evidence C. They're following the trail, this is how it is supposed to work. Surely there is an attorney or two around there that can help explain the process.
