We have a two weeks break somewhere in Europe every year. Occasionally we have another week, either over the Easter school break for a week,(they have a two week+ break from school here) or in the autumn school break. Last year we only managed a 4 day break over Easter and this year we haven't managed one at all.
We do have our annual two week break booked for late July though. Not sure about the autumn one for this year as DD1 has her final school exams during the next school year so we'll have to wait and see how her studying is progressing!

Never.
Camping doesn't count. I do that out of obligation.

The problem is my house is comfortable and I have a million dollar view of our valley.
The other problem is my husband is ALWAYS at some critical part of his project.

We take 2-3 trips per year, not counting cross-Canada trips to visit family.
Usually we do a winter beach vacation plus a spring and/or fall trip. One is typically Europe or Asia and if we do a third trip it’s a cruise.

We usually go away for a 10 days in the summer somewhere where we can drive.. Last year we camped in northern New York. The year before we did Toronto and Niagara Falls. This year is Quebec City.
We go away for a 2 weeks in the winter somewhere warm. Last two years have been the Dominican Republic. This year we are going to Florida for a week at Christmas. Next year Turks and Caicos.
We will also do 4 or 5 weekends away a year too. It used to be to sports tournaments with the kids so we just got in the habit of weekend getaways. We also each do one or two boys/girls weekend per eyar.
I LOVE going away

We usually do every other year. Nothing extravagant just to the beach for the week. This year we are doing a staycation, next year beach. It works for us. We act like tourists during our staycation though and try to visit attractions we don't normally see. This year we are taking a day trip into Philly. I've lived in this area all of my life and never toured any of the places the city has to offer.

We don't have a regular schedule for vacations.
I also don't think it's wrong or weird if someone doesn't like to travel. I know so many people who would choose to travel every chance they get, and they seem to expect or assume that everyone else feels the same way - but I know others who just aren't into travel. If you prefer to stay home, and know that about yourself, good for you.
I like to travel, and have done a fair amount, including some very long road trips when I was single, and spending part of a college year in Mexico and South America, but it isn't my first or highest priority. We spend a ton of time at home and that's where we most love to be, so we put more money into our home and things we do at home than someone else might. It gives us pleasure every day.
When we first built our house, we didn't have extra money to go on vacations, but that was okay with us. It was a stage of our lives just like for others - needs and priorities take precedence over wants.
We are in the process of planning a true vacation - not a trip for me to go to a conference, with my husband tagging along, but a vacation with no other purpose than to go see some things we want to see. I had thought we might go to Chicago, which we love visiting, but my husband wants to see the Titanic exhibit in Branson, and after he spent the last year battling cancer, I am letting him do most of the planning; for me it's about making him happy. I'm not saying I won't enjoy it all, because I know I will, but his wants are the highest priority for me right now. The time together and seeing and doing new things will be good for both of us.

We usually go once a year to our favorite beach. Due to an overload at work last year we didn't get to go at all and I am trying to plan something for this year despite another super heavy workload this summer. Ds is transferring away for college in the fall so we really want to get away this year and spend a little relaxing family time. Early this year We were trying to plan a trip to Ireland with some friends but one of the couples we were going to be traveling with are suddenly divorcing (sudden to all of us, not to them apparently) so that trip is on hold. If I had the money and felt comfortable taking the time off of work I would love to go more, at least a couple of short weekend trips per year would be great!

If you prefer to stay home, and know that about yourself, good for you. This is so true. I like to travel, but I have friends who would rather stay home and read a book or take care of their garden. Who cares? Travel shaming seems to be a big thing now. The other thing that I think has happened is that people are shamed for going to touristy places and doing touristy things. It seems like everyone feels they have to go to someplace exotic and do something adventurous on vacation. People turn up their noses nowadays when someone says they are going to Disney World.

There is something about having my favorite things all around me and not making my pets miserable by leaving them with strangers that often trumps going on a vacation. I do enjoy seeing new things - just not for very long...

My dad travels a lot. In the last year from April-March he was away on 5 vacations. He travels well.
I do not travel well. I get sick and think i am going to die. One vacation every other year would suit me fine.

We do about a week in Yosemite every year for the 4th of July. Every other year we go to Cano with dh's family (his parents, both sisters and their families - 18 people this year) for 2.5-3 weeks at Christmas. The years we don't go instead we do a week in Colorado with dh's family at thanksgiving. And then another 2-4 weeks out there as well. Every other year we do 1-2 weeks just our family in Hawaii.
And the last two years we had season passes to Disneyland so we were down there for 3-5 days 5-7 times a year.

We take a 7-10 day vacation atleast once a year and then several l 3-5 day long weekends to Vegas, Dallas, etc. We try to go someone atleast every other month.
Since January, we've been to Dallas 2x, Vegas, Belize + Mexico, and New Orleans, and Lake Charles. We are going to Montreal in three weeks for 7 days.

I haven't taken a vacation for the better part of a decade. After divorce, I just haven't recovered financially.
I take day trips with my kids. Museums, zoos, historical attractions, and local touristy things.
My dream vacation includes a solid week at a clean, warm beach. Picking seashells and seaglass. Listening to the ocean. Smelling the salt water. Feeling the heat of the sun. Walking for miles and miles.

Mine have always gone to the same person for 15 years. This year, she was pregnant and due a week after we got back. She actually had the baby 3 days after we got back. No one wants to take care of someone else's dogs right before they go into labor. I've been pushing for a little place in Estes Park so we could bring the dogs with us anytime we went.

I picked other.. about once every 5 or 6 years. Maybe it's been 10 years.. DD and I went on vacation just this month though... but before this.. yeah, usually don't. In the last 4 years between DH and I our jobs had been changing and no money to even think about vacation. We took a family vacation about 12 years ago to San Francisco and that was the last real vacation.. since then I had a surprise baby and poor thing who is 10 now doesn't know what a vacation is!! LOL... (although she does go to her grandma's for the summer or BFF who moved away, so she does do things.)

a couple of times a year.
family vacations have gotten really difficult with scheduling but dh and I sneak away a few times a year. if my company offers a trip incentive I focus on earning it so we don't have to worry about travel costs so much.
I extend business trips a few times a year for a few days of solo relaxing but coming up e is always the best.
