I’m working on a trip we took in 2014. I had started the album but didn’t get far. These were done today.  Omg   I used enamel dots and song lyrics on the first one. There are orange Nuvo drops, glitter, sun (ketchup sun worshiper) on the second set. I’ll have to figure out points later. I need to print out a list of challenges. edited for point counts: leaving has song lyrics, vacation, Washi (ketchup), alpha numeric stickers, dot (enamel) 7 points beach day has vacation, outdoors, multiphotos, Nuvo drops, sparkle and shine 12 points (please correct me if I added wrong. I included separate points for each page of the spread.) |

Here's one that is a re-do of an older layout I just didn't like. The photos are far from great but they were printed and I'm too lazy to edit  Cross posted with the stash challenge. It also meets the travel (the photos are at Disney), put a dot on it (the last of my Mickey heads), paper pad, and the sparkle and shine (glitter paper stars) challenges. (Also I didn't use enough die cuts/ephemera to earn a point but I did manage to get real ephemera on this page!)  |

kiwigirl is cracking the whip, so here is another page. Seriously, though, this 8 year old photo presented itself to me last night: no idea where it surfaced from, but it was at the back of my dresser. I have been sifting through old photos and memorabilia lately, but don't remember having this one in my hands... Anyway, by morning I had a play on how I would scrap it, (I have had mamakven's sketch printed out and on my counter since she posted it) and since dh and ds went into town for a couple of hours, I decided there is no time like the present! Your final edit of the elegant page went well, KelleeM. Good job! And I like the Coffee page. Great use of the two coloured title letters, like foam on your coffee, and the kraft background that makes everything else take center stage. Awesome flip flop, kitbop ! I love the summery colours, especially the sunny yellow. And I like how you interspersed the pic's on the PL page to include some journaling and other elements. |

I love those bright colors @kellem and that cute cluster with the camera and dots! And the clean simple designs with all the perfect touches of fun on the you can dress them up and coffee pages. mamakven - great LO! I love the way the muted background makes everything else on the page pop! And the photos are so fun! kitbop - I love your layering, I'm horrible at it lol. I love the sketch flop - such a fun page with all the bright colors! Chinagirl828 - I love the colors and the grid you chose for the Disney page, it really brings out the photos! I love your LO grammadee, love all the layers and the little cluster on the right hand side is lush! I also love the ric-rac. I used to be a big fan of ric-rac and would teach classes and tell them, if you're ever in doubt, just bung some ric-rac on it! I was the ric-rac queen back then. Great LO though, I love the white background and the big Mickey ears! KelleeM very elegant, I love the gems on the sides of the journalling, it's lush! Gorgeous coffee page too, I love the stripes, they're perfect. Is that Shimelle washi under the 'true story'? It's fab. I reckon you need grid points on each LO as well. kitbop fab LO's hun! So much to look at and yet there's still white space, I love them both! The stripes are gorgeous and you're a clustering queen! Chinagirl828 wow, wow, WOW! So pretty! I love the cameras and the florals and it's all just so dreamy and pretty, around here they would say that's gert lush that it - which means it's pretty darn special!  msliz amazing LO's! kiwigirl you know your products! Yes, I got the Shimelle sticker book for half price or maybe 55% off at AC Moore! Anyone recognize the font I used for coffee?? I went wayyyyyy back to the early early Sizzix days with the fun serif! I tore and layered the papers.

kiwigirl your “me & you” page looks like it will be another stunner—love those bright colors and fun loopy border! KelleeM great vacation pages! I love all the cute embellies on your beach day pages and now I have that jet plane song in my head! Your elegant page turned out gorgeous. I just love those sparkly borders! Pretty sure you can claim points for my build-a-cupcake challenge too  You have the dark bkgd, swirls and things sprinkled about! I adore the colors on your coffee page. Love all the neutrals with the pretty pastel stripe. mamakven great take on the sketch! The colors you used are just perfect and that alpha is amazing! kitbop more amazing pages from you! On the AM/PM page, I really like how you echoed the floral pp at the bottom with the cluster on the top right. Your random icons are great too! I love the bright colors on your Carolinian trail page…and the splatters add just the right touch! Those little trees  Chinagirl828 I really love your pirates page. The bag is SO cool, love that you added the penny too! And the other page….OMG girl, stunning! What is that map paper? I’m not into maps but I might have to make an exception there. Everything on this page is gorgeous, the colors which go so well with the photos, your embellishments, the title on the label. Another of my favorites from you grammadee what a great photo!  I made my take on the sketch challenge this morning. I used all Echo Park papers and alpha stickers. I’m taking just 5 points for this one. ETA: it’s a 5 x 7 photo so I can add another point! Edited again: I decided the page wasn’t complete after walking away for a few hours...I added 9 big fat Nuvo drops and journaling. So it’s at 7 points now 😊 |

I'm using that sketch too KelleeM - love your take, all the patterns you incorporated and that gorgeous photo being the focus! I did this one using the sketch last night but it really deviated because I couldn't get the corners to work and it just morphed as I went. But I think it's good for 10 points (LO, share, flags, watercolour, paper pads, 1 5x7 photo, sketch, alphanumeric I'm claiming since I used brackets in my title, outdoors, vacation)  layout statuesque by kirstendrew, on Flickr |

I'm so enjoying this! (Wonder why I didn't join earlier!) I had a very nice scrappy Friday night and did two layouts (which is a lot for me, I'm a slow scrapper). I haven't figured out the points yet but I will! One of them is for the "take me out to the ball game" challenge, and the other one doesn't meet any of the challenges but I did it anyway. I used OLD paper (2009) I had in my stash for both - the Fancy Pants Kraft Kuts {That Boy} line. I love those papers and may use them again soon.   I'm saving my layouts on a Pinterest Board, how does everyone else do it? I can't seem to figure out the Flickr thing. At least this way I'll have a digital copy of my layouts somewhere. I am doing an album for all five of my grandkids but haven't figured out when/how I'm going to give them to them. As you can imagine, it's taking a while to fill them. I have the pictures but not the time to work on them frequently. Y'all are rocking this month! I am viewing your layouts and liking your posts, I am amazed at the talent we have on this board! |
