See! This is exactly why he needs 24/7 security 🙄 I laugh because after watching her video, Trumpsters are still calling for her to be arrested for harassment, public nuisance, and verbal abuse (because she was screaming). Did you see the video? She was calm and concise and never moved an inch. He, in turn, fled.

a reasonable legal route for the poor (immigration) has been prevented from being enacted into law by Republican congresses during the previous two administrations. I know you see no problem with saying too bad, so sad (or womp womp, perhaps) to people trying to make a better life for their families - people without whom, BTW, our economy would suffer greatly - It annoys the CRAP out of me that people don't realize either of these things. Republicans AND democrats let these immigrants down. But hey, put your response in really pretty colors and it will distract from the facts.

I think those of us who live in border states see the contribution that hard-working (but undocumented because there is literally no reasonable way for them to get documents) immigrants make to our economy in ways that others don't. oh, I agree... for example, the people standing on the streetcorners asking for money around here are never Hispanic... the immigrants (undocumented or otherwise) are working their butts off at one or more jobs to further their family's situation. And I've heard news stories about companies who LITERALLY cannot get US citizens to take jobs-- the example I remember hearing about was 2 weeks of working in a vineyard somewhere in California, room and board included, for something like $2000-- trimming or pruning the vines, or something like that. The company tried to recruit at a college, thinking they would get a lot of takers, and literally NO ONE wanted to make $2000 for two weeks of work + room and board. When I hear stories like that, but STILL no one thinks immigrant labor is important to our economy? it's crazy.

Your points really get lost when you, and others here, toss in the "womp womp." It was ignorant and stupid when Lewandowsky said it, yet the left has really embraced it and use it when referring to those they disagree with.

I think those of us who live in border states see the contribution that hard-working (but undocumented because there is literally no reasonable way for them to get documents) immigrants make to our economy in ways that others don't. Texas would not be able to function without them. Republicans don't care, at least not enough to get on board with making changes to the law. I am many states away from the border and completely agree... since I don’t ask to see anyone’s papers I cannot say what percentage of the Hispanic workforce here is legal or not, but our economy would collapse without their labor in many sectors. And I promise you there is not a stockpile of workers chomping at the bit for the jobs they “stole”.

But hey, put your response in really pretty colors and it will distract from the facts. . It was a group of Republicans in Congress who let these immigrants down. President Bush (W) wanted immigration reform but he was stopped by members of his own party. I believe they are called the “hard right”. President Obama wanted immigration reform but he was stopped by the entire Republican gang in Congress. This was partly because the Republicans weren’t going to give President Obsma anything but even if they would consider it that same group that stopped President Bush would have reappeared here as well. Now it looks like the same group of Republicans in Congress are again stopping any discussion of immigration reform with their head cheerleader trump. The question you should be asking is why doesn’t this group of Republicans want immigration reform?

Kyle Griffin...
“Trump tweets this AM: • Attacks sitting congresswoman • SCOTUS • Economy • MS-13 an "infestation" • Attacks Dems • Praises N. Korea, contradicts intel on weapons program • Fox report on Iran citing single source • Attacks Harley-Davidson • Attacks NSA on 5-day old story“
Yup Cohen has him spooked.

“Just a reminder in all the noise that House GOP hasn't released a transcript of FBI Agent Peter Strzok's testimony, despite his attorney's repeated calls to do so. For people who have been so vocal about "transparency," they certainly like keeping a lot of secret”
This is the guy trump & company want to blame for the supposed attempt to stop trump from becoming president. That is why he was before Congress.
So why hasn’t the GOP released the transcript as requested by Strzok’s lawyer. What are the Republicans in Congress hiding?

And then there is this. MSNBC... “NEW: Rep. Jim Jordan, the powerful Republican congressman from Ohio, is being accused by former wrestlers he coached more than 2 decades ago at Ohio State Univ. of failing to stop the team doctor from molesting them and other students.” These stories keep coming out. All this time parents felt they could trust priests, teachers, coaches, & doctors with their kids. And we keep finding out that wasn’t so.Then we wonder why America is in the shape it is in. How many were broken? How many were hurt and humiliated and then threatened by men in positions of power and prestige? How many are dealing with those scars for themselves and their families?

I've said as much repeatedly here - it's my biggest disappointment from the Obama administration. But hey, go ahead and nitpick rather than recognizing the truths in my post. You can't dispute the truth of what I said just because you don't like the way I said it. Well, you can, but ... In a perfect world, everyone who has come in illegally due to our economic need of them combined with unrealistic immigration policy would file out in an orderly fashion, apply, and come back in again legally. That is not possible. We don't live in a perfect world. The realist's view of this situation, which is largely of our own creation, is that we can't put the horse back in the barn. But we can create just and fair immigration policy that acknowledges that 99.9% of the undocumented immigrants already here are a net positive to our economy, and allows for the continued immigration we need to feed our economy to proceed in a reasonable manner. Reasonable timelines, reasonable cost. Or we can grandstand about "mass citizenship" and the unfairness of it all. I'm a realist, not a perfectionist. Life isn't fair. We need these people here. It's to our benefit to make it work.

NPR...
“Pentagon Questioned Over Blackout On War Zone Troop Numbers”
“For more than a decade, if you wanted to know how many U.S. troops there were in war zones such as Iraq and Afghanistan, you could readily find that information at a public Pentagon website that's updated every three months.
But since late last year, the Pentagon's stopped posting those numbers for Iraq, Syria and Afghanistan.
That public information blackout, along with the recent suspension of Pentagon reports on airstrikes and collateral damage in Afghanistan, has some lawmakers on Capitol Hill raising red flags.”
This is the culture of trump, hiding stuff and we are to trust him and believe whatever he says.

The big old nothing burger. Nothing to use so they won't show it.
Just like if Obama had in fact let 2500 Iranians in, why didn't the GOP scream then? Why wait until NOW? Because...it's not true and they are using the lies to rile up their base.
GOP held the majority....I'm sure they would have blocked it just like they did everything else in Obama's term.

The big old nothing burger. Nothing to use so they won't show it. Yep, because they can't weaponize the truth. Taking the cherry-picked details of the texts and placing them in context and tying them to their lack of impact doesn't rile their base the way mysterious accusations do.

“(CNN) President Donald Trump plans to meet one-on-one with Vladimir Putin at the start of their July 16 summit in Helsinki, Finland, according to a person familiar with the plans, before allowing other aides to join the highly anticipated encounter with the Russian leader.”
Tell me again how trump has nothing to hide about Russia.

Matthew Chapman.,.,
“Jim Jordan has a Democratic opponent. Her name is Janet Garrett (@janet4oh).
Jordan's district, #OH04, is very gerrymandered and very conservative. Cook rates it R+14.
But you know where else had a rating of R+14? Alabama.
Red or blue, voters don't like child molestation.”
Yea they will give him a pass.
