I used to really like SCS until it became clear nice people were being banned and almost every section became about the damn MISTI. I mean I know a stamping press is a great tool, but it started to feel like I was in a product cult. Even now you have to wade through so many MISTI threads to get to something interesting. And after hearing about the MISTI lady’s unethical behaviour I only go to SCS now if I need info. And I also just bought a TH travel platform (which I don’t even need as I have the big one) just to make the point I threatened to make earlier! At least I got to support my local LSS doing that. LOL I'm glad you said this about all of the MISTI threads at SCS - every time I go to SCS I think that there hasn't been much activity because the same handful of MISTI posts are always on the front page. I usually just end up leaving. I know I could scroll through pages and see what else is there, but it's really just more of a knee-jerk reaction and I just automatically shut my tab and leave. It really feels like no one posts on the general stamping forum anymore.

You might know this already, but on SCS, you can turn off Member Company Global Threads.
Click on your name in the upper right corner of the screen. Click on Edit Options in the left menu panel. Scroll all the way down to the last section on the right side. Under Member Company Global Threads, click Off.
I turned them off a long time ago. MSP seems to be the only member company now. Gina K used to be one, but she stopped being a member company a few years ago.

Gag. I wish I would have bought the travel one. I’ll stamp with stamping blocks before I’ll give that woman a dime of my money. And they turned off comments on a FB group I’m in. Her fans are rabid. Same here, I’m really bummed by this decision and she won’t get any of my money ever again.

Just ordered back ups of Tim's the travel and big one and also ordered for my daughter for Christmas, both for her. I purchased them from Stampers Anonymous...

I am aware that this topic is nearly six years old. I found it by searching for another topic. But WOW. Lydia has banned so many people, myself included. SO many people have left SCS and Dini and someone else (paid staff) were let go. Only the all-powerful Lydia is left. There are VERY FEW posts per day. I remember the time when there were literally 300+ posts per day. I also remember when there were at least five "member companies" including one of my personal favorites, Stamp-n-Storage. Now there is only one..... My Rotten Petunia. I would not spend a nickel with that vicious woman. So glad I found all of you! And I am waiting for the day that SCS closes. It should not be long.

While I don't doubt Manglement contributed significantly to SCS's decline, a lot of it also has to do with consolidation of the internet. Used to be there were tiny little sites everywhere for any niche thing, but now it's all siphoned up into the likes of Reddit, Facebook, Instagram and TikTok. On top of that, an aging demographic that isn't pulling in new blood for the hobby worsens the problem.

Yes, and I can't even delete my SCS account. Lydia says that she hasn't received my request (about 2 months ago). Well, first of all, I did send the request (2 of them). Second of all, if you're reading my post and responding to it, then you obviously know that I want to delete my account. Third of all, why do I need a moderator to delete my account? I should be able to do that myself. Nonsense.
