What did BP do before she sunk her claws into BH? She was a Disney Princess. She was hired as Cinderella. Then she had bébés. omg, are you serious? really?!? HUGE eye roll.

blech! I'm sure the people who work as Disney cast members take their jobs very seriously, but man... c'mon, Becky (H)!!! talk about perpetuating a 1950s STEREOTYPE, huh? It was NEVER my dream to being a princess. A zookeeper, archaeologist, or a veterinarian, yes. Princess, nope! never.

I could see working at Disney as a character to help pay for college, but it doesn't seem like that was the driving force behind being a face character. My dream as a little girl was never to grow up and be someone who wore a dress in a hot amusement park with kids crawling all over me.... awful. No thank you.

Disclaimer: I'm a regular Disney Park visitor (annual pass and all that jazz). I have friends who've worked at Disneyland Paris. I have nothing but respect for cast members. It's not a lot of pay for what they deal with. But yah, Becky P. gives me those "I'm a pwincess!" vibes.

I work with a former Belle but she doesn’t talk about it much. My understanding is that it’s pretty prestigious to be a princess, but I think it also speaks to the ability to put on a facade, smile, and play a part. Which sounds, strangely enough, exactly like their podcast.

In today’s stories she says that people purchasing her (overpriced) audio course and who don’t listen to the podcast should probably listen before the course so they”understand” the dynamic betwen the two of them. I LOL’d when I saw that. I’m imagining she’s trying to get in front of participants bitching about them talking over each other, plus adding numbers to her listeners count.

Today's email.... 13 paragraphs I’m still stuck on the boat photo. How does swimsuit modeling jive with modest Mormon mommy blogger? Because it is a one piece swimsuit. Two piece; immodest and strongly discouraged. There are some other Mormon mommy bloggers out there that do surprise me by their "immodest" posts like Jordan Page and some blonde chick I can't remember.
She was a Disney Princess. She was hired as Cinderella. Then she had bébés. And saved people from addiction through the help of Jesus.
ETA: didn't mean to quote story angel, but I don't want to type everything out again.

I still think its sad that she dropped all her "girls" for BP. Sorry but the two of them give me a weird creepy vibe.

I know we’ve said this before, but BH gives off such a Single White Female vibe with BP! Like BP is the popular girl and BH so desperately wants to be her friend to be cool too, so she dirches all her real friends and fawns on BP. Sad.

I would have loved to be a princess and really wish I had known about the DCP at that age (if they had it then...) but also would want to be in the air conditioning. HOWEVER, anyone who has been to Disney knows that the Stepsisters are really WHERE IT’S AT! (Not Cinderella 😉)

I wanted to be a Disney Princess to. My friends that have worked at Disney parks as actors have had a lot of great career opportunities come their way. I really don't understand this Mormon blogger thing at all. If this is the new missionary work shouldn't these women at least have some courses for running seminars? Shouldn't the church be held accountable for Mormon Mommy bloggers promoting anxiety and cures of spa (Weight Loss Clinic) vacations? Yes, this swimsuit thing is very creepy. I don't see this as missionary work. I am not being snarky. I am not being condescending. I found all of this scary and very concerning. Every missionary I ever know and I have known a lot didn't teach seminars without some form of training. They did not promote wealth to attend a church. They did not promote weight loss clinics as a cure for serious medical conditions. They sure as hell didn't promote bathing suit photo's. This religion has some really creepy practices for their missionaries. It is really sick. I read that Forbes article sleepingbooty posted. I don't want to hear that not all "Mormon's are like this". This church is using social media as a missionary platform. This church is using social media influencer's to show if you are a member of their church you can be wealthy and have the world. Boat pictures during a pandemic? There is seriously something wrong with you mentally and morally when you do something like that. I mentioned I live in a huge AOG area. Even though I do have issues with their church. Since this pandemic has began I have seen them doing all of these charitable events from food drives to delivering supplies to Covid hotspots. They are going above and beyond as a religious organization to help during these times. I have not heard one thing about Mormon's helping with Covid relief except bathing suit pics and overpriced seminars taught by "missionaries" with no formal or any type of training. I brought up AOG because it is a for profit religion like Mormonism. Least they are trying even though they had huge screw ups and some very big jerk moves in this pandemic. Least they tried. Mormon's seem to want to profit from a pandemic. It is disgusting. Becky is just a horrendous, evil person in my eyes.

I just posted on IG on one of the notebook pics asking what's special about them... Interested to see who answers (if anyone) and what they say. I mean, they ARE just notebooks... Right?

They are super-duper special notebooks because Becky had a brain fart and thought to see them. I mean, OMG. They could have been stored in Beckys garage of her foreclosed on house.

I’m wondering this too—but I’m not curious enough to actually go and look so I’m hoping someone here will tell me. Are these just regular lined notebooks? Or are they plain white paper inside? Are they 8 1/2 X 11 inches?

Are they 8 1/2 X 11 inches? Approximately 6x8” . Here’s her description of why they are worth $7.99. Just like it sounds … they’re simple. And they’re notebooks! And who doesn’t love an awesome notebook to track to-do’s, keep lists, dream, doodle, and brainstorm? Plus, notebooks are one of the best gifts to always have on-hand and ready to share. So what makes our notebooks so special? There is a really cool story behind each design, the quality is impeccable (we’re suuuuper picky!), they’re the perfect size, and the lined pages are the most ideal paper thickness. Some of our notebooks feature photographs taken by Becky. Some of our notebooks feature the artwork or photography of others. Some of the designs are created in collaboration with individuals and brands we love. The common thread in ALL of our notebooks? There is a great deal of LOVE that goes into the design of each and every design.

I admit I have too many notebooks, they're composition style and I have too many because they're all beautiful and I'm weak for stationery. However, they were all $3-4 at TJ Maxx, and the pages don't have any text on them or any stories behind why they were made. I don't need a story behind every single product I buy... sometimes I just want something to write in.

Sounds like Becky's sycophants didn't do 'documenting day' to her liking - too many questions about the app and 'physical PL'.
She even tells them what they can ask questions about on 'Q&A' time.
Looks like she's in talks w/AC to bring back some pockets. Maybe Scrapbook.com making 9x12 and more albums scared AC back into production mode.

Of course, nobody replied to my IG post about the notebooks. Becky responded to one comment immediately after mine but conveniently ignored my question...

Apparently there is a big app update coming (maybe new templates?) but of course only to iOS users. The FB groups are a mix of frustration that she continues to ignore half her customer base by neglecting Android users and “trust the process” cheerleaders. I’m amazed at how little the company does to promote developments like this- an IG story is hardly the best social media tool for reaching users and potential new users one would think.

She FEELS there are ESSENTIALS that you HAVE TO HAVE to document and so she's talking to AC to bring back page protectors and albums. She's doing it for YOU! Not because she is shilling and desperate to hang on to any scrappers that haven't jumped ship at this point.

There are at least 6 in app purchases I’d make right away if she sold that app & someone else were to get my money. But I’m not buying from her

Newsletter this morning:
Hi friends! I’m going to share a few noteworthy things with you about the Project Life App and where we are with things. Remember: Our job is to worry about everything that happens behind-the-scenes and make the magic to pull it all off. YOUR job is to have SO MUCH FUN preserving your memories with the app!
No. 1 — The big 3.0 update that we’ve been working on for a while is in beta mode, which means it’s CLOSE! There are still things to do, details to tweak, and finishing touches to wrap up as we are incredibly particular about the details. We are just as anxious + excited as you are, and it looks like JUNE is the timing. Fingers crossed for sooner than later, of course, but it’s happening in June!
No. 2 — Android friends, as you probably know … we don’t have the resources to do big updates in parallel to the iOS updates and android does takes more time on our end. The good news?? We ARE working on bringing the big updates to you as well! If there are big features you’re hoping for (including those that you’ll see in 3.0 for iOS), please know that we’ll be working very hard to bring you these same features in 2020. Thank you for understanding that it takes time.
No. 3 — After five years of running the app and incurring huge expenses to make it all possible, it is very necessary for us to have a price increase on many of the in-app purchases (templates, kits, fonts, etc.). This will be happening with the 3.0 update in June.
1 - The price increases will ensure that we can keep going … keep improving the app … and continue making it all available to you. That’s all sorts of goodness right there!
2 - We’re giving you the heads-up instead of this being a surprise when 3.0 comes out. So … go ahead and stock up on anything + everything you want before the prices increase in June.
3 - The app is still free, and it will remain free for iOS + Android! And there is a lot that comes free WITH the app (like 4 collections + 11 templates + 15 fonts) … so you really can do SO MUCH totally for free. That’s pretty cool!
4 - Have you been following along with my new series in my instagram stories? “Documenting Day” is already a huge hit, and it just so happens that the past couple of weeks’ worth have been app-focused. You can find these saved highlights on my IG page (@beckyhigginsllc). See the row of circles there? Yep. Check those out! This week I’m even sharing hints about what to expect in the big app update, so THAT’s fun!
5 - In case you missed it, we pulled the yearbook course out of the vault in light of the increased desire to DOCUMENT during these unparalleled times. “Make a Personal or Family Yearbook” includes bonus material + tips for starting mid-way through the year. Super cool! Good stuff! And the new audio course “Live the Story You Want to Tell” is heavily focused on using some of the new features in the upcoming 3.0 update (hint: templates that are conducive for MORE writing!). Definitely take a moment to check out what we have to offer in the BH Classroom. We’d love to have you join us in class!
Friends, I know how much the app means to you. I don’t have the words to articulate what it means to me on a mostly very personal level. The app affords each of us the ease + delight of preserving our memories, telling our stories, and DOING something with our pictures in the palm of our hands. What a tremendous blessing to be alive during this incredible time where technology is the conduit to remarkable possibilities!
We are honored to keep at it. We are GRATEFUL — for your app love, for our incredible developer Devin, and for this growing community of people who care deeply about cultivating a good life and recording it.

I can't help but feel like she wouldn't have to talk about how expensive it is to keep the app going and increase the prices of in-app purchases if she actually listened to her audience and kept making the products that people have been asking for for years. She got rid of her office, seemingly fired her whole staff, but the app is still too expensive for her business to maintain?
How's the 5000 sq foot house doing?
