Weren't the Osmond's from Ogden? of course that would have been over 50 years ago...... Missed this post. Yes, they lived in South Ogden before they became really famous. My husband's grandma was friends with the mother. I’m thinking they’re moving to a heavily LDS area so BECKY is more comfortable. And, no matter her claims to being an ally, I can’t help but think that she’s hoping Claire will “come around”. I hope I’m wrong. But her total lifetime immersion in LDS has got to interfere with her “ally-ship”.

I was assuming she'd be moving to either Utah or Idaho given the LDS populations.
I hope that Claire will be safe and kept in a healthy mental place.

It will be interesting to see where her husband ends up working. Better make a mental note to remember because I do need knee surgery, and I do wonder what the lawsuit is all about.

Honestly when reading her IG post with the fortunes and seeing " In carefully observing our kids’ needs, David and I felt the nudge that a change of scenery could be good for them." my mind instantly went to 'oh they're going somewhere they can push their views more on these kids' rather than 'moving somewhere better for them'. Is that terrible and judgy of me? Probably. But she's the same parent who sent her child to a wilderness camp where they're notoriously abusive under the guise of "Jesus and love" so I really wouldn't put it past her.

The GUSHING comments are sooo... It's annoying how so many influencers have to make every little detail of their lives sound so. deeply. profound. and. meaningful. A commenter said they were LITERALLY DYING to know where they're moving. I wish people would check the definition of "LITERALLY." https://www.instagram.com/p/CehqAytM6Uy

That’s EXACTLY where my mind went. B & D likely feel their kids are being influenced in a way they do not approve of. Ironic that an influencer might object to being influenced. Still wondering about the recent funeral connection . I’m guessing D will have no problem getting a job unless there’s a medical issue with the lawsuit. Just a bit strange (suspicious) to uproot so quickly.

The part that gets me is...remember at the beginning w/ the packing tape, and being sad and all that crap...now we are pretending we are happy about it? That we planned it? ugh.

Oh no! They did not plan it, it was divine intervention! I'm like, if you want to stay in AZ so bad, move somewhere cheaper. Chandler? Gilbert? Sun City?

When are mediocre white women going to stop claiming tribes? Which tribe do you belong to, Beck?

".. I *know* this is God’s idea + plan for us to move … because our OWN plan would not take us away from so many good people." Ah, so when something inevitably goes wrong it's God's fault. Responsibility for your own actions?

When are mediocre white women going to stop claiming tribes? Which tribe do you belong to, Beck? Just because I've noticed Americans only refer to tribes regarding native people or ancient Biblical tribes, there were plenty of tribes in Europe, including (white) western Europe and the word is commonly used in Europe regarding our own ancestors like the Celtic tribes. Not that I think Becky could name any.

I wonder if they were smart enough to buy their new property (provided, again, they're not renting at first) under an LLC or other arrangement to hide their address. (spoiler: probably not)

Am I dreaming or was there an olympic event in Ogden when SLC hosted the Winter Games? Is it bad, I can't remember? I don't think so. Most of the events were in Salt Lake City or Park City. The Union Station is where I'm attending the wedding. I recently see Pauly Shore at the Wise Guys Comedy Club in downtown. I like the painted horses. Are they still there?

Gotta stick with the fellow rich white folks to keep the evil Lamanites at bay! Did anyone see the big Jesus painting she has? He's so white and not Palestinian-looking... It cracked me because it's a modern-day rendition. I was surprised to see they were still making such pale Jesus portraits. I thought we collectively agreed on a bit more of an olive skin and different nose shape but apparently not everyone got the memo. Oh well, not sure why I keep being surprised by such things as an atheist... I guess the old Mormon skin colour theory is still at work subconsciously. https://www.instagram.com/p/CckzSYCLAF7

Will they qualify for a mortgage given their recent foreclosure? I can’t imagine they will be approved for a mortgage with that on their credit history.

Becky would not be proud. She’s been on a narrow path all her life. It’s ever so much safer (for her) to attribute changes in her life to god’s will or however she explains it. She mentions “agency”. If that’s the same as “free will”, which I believe in, then she’s trying to have it both ways. Just take responsibility for whatever actions you take, Becky. God “gets it”. I continue to be concerned for Clair. I hope this abrupt change isn’t the Higgins trying to separate her from “influences” not intentional to the Higgins. Also wonder about her relationship with the other Becky. So odd that it seemed to come to a grinding halt. I do wonder if it’s related to the other Becky’s heath, but surely BH would have mentioned it. So…her dream home sold?!? Where are they now?

I think the story is so incredibly simple: lack of 💰
1. The lawsuit drops and it's not just David who is named but also Becky so the entire family is concerned; 2. All of a sudden, she is inspired by you-know-who *points finger to the sky* (and sad) to move; 3. They go back to Utah after 20 years and leave Peoria where they've now got rich history of financial troubles (foreclosure + selling their dream home on their dream plot of retirement land).
If they haven't resolved their foreclosure yet, they probably can't get traditional financing for a new home either. They may actually be relying on family financing to buy this next home while they wait for the lawsuit + foreclosure to resolve. And that may come with the caveat of moving closer to home or staying within a Mormon community. Their reputation in their Peoria "tribe" is burnt. They may have wiggled out of the foreclosure fiasco by saying they way overpaid that house originally, yadda yadda, but now they are both named in a lawsuit and can't afford their large dream home they boasted and Instagram-posted about for years. They'd have to move in something significantly less impressive than what they built and everyone around them would know and whisper about it for years and years. They're running from the shame.
Where else would they go? They can't afford the Mormon-centric places in California. They're stuck returning to Utah. Becky is involved in the Church and they rely on it almost exclusively for community. There's no way they even considered going "solo" elsewhere.
Is there any news from the lawsuit? I'm dying to see why Becky is also named.

A couple weeks ago Becky P was still shilling Shine cosmetics in her IG stories (not in posts, those are rare), but our Becky has been silent on the makeup. And the podcast. And Becky P's health, etc.

Her latest Instagram update is that they’re in a tiny town in Northern Utah 🤷♀️ Yeah, that pic definitely looks like Eden/Liberty/Huntsville to me. “Northern Utah” is generally considered to be Logan and surrounding areas… like way north, not where she probably is. Also, that “tiny” town means her kids will go to Ogden HS, unless boundaries have changed. It’s fairly big… about 4 times the enrollment of my kids’ HS.

Regarding the lawsuit, the plaintiffs are a Scott Fyffe and Theresa Fyffe (presumably married). There is a Scott Fyffe Construction LLC out of Scottsdale AZ. Maybe the lawsuit is regarding a dispute (or non-payment) of a construction project? The lawsuit lists several medical practices, as well as individual doctors, as defendants, so maybe they either backed out of the project, or didn’t pay what was owed? Or maybe the project fell apart *after* the Higginses pulled out to leave the state?? Scott Fyffe et al vs. Arizona Orthopedic et al

From what I read online (including this Reddit thread from last year), that's probably good news for her daughter. I'm seeing several mentions of Ogden being on the more liberal side (for Utah anyway) with some Pride representation. Fingers crossed for her.
