Regarding the lawsuit, the plaintiffs are a Scott Fyffe and Theresa Fyffe (presumably married). There is a Scott Fyffe Construction LLC out of Scottsdale AZ. Maybe the lawsuit is regarding a dispute (or non-payment) of a construction project? The lawsuit lists several medical practices, as well as individual doctors, as defendants, so maybe they either backed out of the project, or didn’t pay what was owed? Or maybe the project fell apart *after* the Higginses pulled out to leave the state?? Scott Fyffe et al vs. Arizona Orthopedic et alYeah, the possible construction side of the lawsuit has been brought up. We really don't know more so far. The Fyffe construction business is just him and his wife per the internet so it's a pretty small setup. The Higgins clan decided to leave after the lawsuit was filed from the timeline we've established (provided Becky isn't lying on social media). Becky being sued alongside her husband and the other defendants is the most intriguing part of the puzzle as it shuffles the setup of the practice completely around. I've got my popcorn ready. Just give me the full (ok, I'll accept partial) story!

Regarding the move to Utah—don’t you think they chose to go where David could quickly get a job? Most folks don’t leave a job until they have a new one lined up if they have a choice. Besides day to day expenses, health care is critical, even with a doctor in the house.

Where else would they go? They can't afford the Mormon-centric places in California. They're stuck returning to Utah. Becky is involved in the Church and they rely on it almost exclusively for community. There's no way they even considered going "solo" elsewhere. It will be interesting to see what they buy. Utah's home prices are out of control. Especially if she's in the Eden/Huntsville area.
Her latest Instagram update is that they’re in a tiny town in Northern Utah 🤷♀️ Yeah, that pic definitely looks like Eden/Liberty/Huntsville to me. “Northern Utah” is generally considered to be Logan and surrounding areas… like way north, not where she probably is. Yes, very true. That scared me a little.

Eden, UT prices
Huntsville, UT prices
Now, I want to move here
ETA: Now, I'm getting way too involved. That photo looks like it could be near Wellsville or Mantua (pronounced man-a-way). That's considered Northern Utah. That real estate would be more in her price range.

Besides day to day expenses, health care is critical, even with a doctor in the house. They are in a privileged position: anesthesiologists are in high demand - not just because of critical care due to the virus but because of all the postponed surgeries that now need to be performed. Baby boomers dominate the profession as well (in the US) so a younger Gen X doctor would be much appreciated. It's unlikely he struggled to find a job or just had to take whatever he could. ETA: Now, I'm getting way too involved. That photo looks like it could be near Wellsville or Mantua (pronounced man-a-way). That's considered Northern Utah. That real estate would be more in her price range. Some people on her Insta are recognising their very own Cache Valley so Wellsville could work. (Can you tell my Utah geography skills are poor?... ) If so, we're possibly looking at a daily commute from Logan. I just don't have it in me to go hunt for real estate prices on a Sunday night, especially since it's an election day here in France and we're about to get the first results.

I thought the red barn looked familiar, I could be wrong. It's not like Utah is the North East where there's those beautiful red barns in the fall that you see with a bit more frequency. If she is in that tiny little town in Northern Utah, it is surrounded by several other towns and not far at all from the biggest town; Logan. I take my son to a pediatrician there and they have a top notch university especially for education. They even had doctors I took my kids to for many years on campus before they retired or moved to another location. It's where they were officially diagnosed as Autistic too. Logan definitely has it's issues, but there is an LGBQT community. Before covid hit, me and my daughter were going to attend Drag Queen Bingo. Also went to the Women's March. There is PRIDE celebration in September. It's on the small side. I would probably see Becky there if that's where she's living.
My geography skills are extremely poor, it's just that I've lived in Northern Utah most of my life.
ETA: There are two hospitals in Cache Valley and a couple of places that do sedation dentistry. Now I want to know where he's working and what that lawsuit was all about. We've had medical procedures done there.

Ok, just saw the comment about Providence. For all things holy, please don't let it be there. Do you know how many ways she'll use that word? I have nothing against the town either.

Also, that “tiny” town means her kids will go to Ogden HS, unless boundaries have changed. It’s fairly big… about 4 times the enrollment of my kids’ HS. If she's in Ogden Valley proper (Eden, Liberty, Huntsville) those kids go to Weber HS. It's a 6A school and pretty large If she's down in Mountain Green that is in Morgan County and I believe all of Morgan County goes to Morgan HS. Much smaller school than Weber.

Yeah, I was thinking Ogden Valley. I used to have a friend who lives in Huntsville and I knew she rode the bus over to Ogden, but my cousin lives in Eden now and I’ve actually never asked her if her kids still do. Do you think Mountain Green is a possibility? I saw someone guess that in her IG comments. It just doesn’t look like that area to me… that valley (Peterson/MG/Morgan) is just so narrow compared to how this picture looks, and feels even more so because it’s bisected by the highway. But the comments from people are really throwing me. Someone did say “Welcome to the Wasatch Back,” which would apply for Ogden Valley or Mountain Green, but not Providence/Paradise/Cache Valley, which I’m seeing thrown around a lot. But “Northern Utah town” implies Logan area to anyone local, don’t you think? Ugh. I wish she’s just say.

She won't say...this is the most engagement she's had on her social media in a long time. She'll milk it for as long as she can.

I took another look at the higgins.home account just in case she decides to delete it now that the house is gone. I'd forgotten how much they spent on this place besides the actual build: the Samsung The Frame TV (in the living room where they didn't really watch TV anyway), the downstairs theatre with the reclining chairs, the custom art display wall from their "favourite woodworker" (inspired by a California hotel they had recently stayed at, of course), the several couches she went through to "frame" her bed in the way oversized master bedroom, the multiple furniture and décor-buying trips to the Potato Barn (seeing prices in the $5000 for some of their sofas on social media), the second dishwasher in the pantry, the $2000 light fixture in the piano room, etc. They had gone all in (while running from the several hundreds of thousands of dollars they owed in the foreclosure). And the 2PR forever fave, the modern house numbers! I am really curious about how much they poured into decorating this place (only to end up with that terrible bric-a-brac look) and everything they could've saved being more *wait for it* intentional with their home setup. Yes, I went there. She truly is the embodiment of keeping up with the Joneses.

Kind of sums it up sleepingbooty. I wonder if, in the end, it really wasn’t that satisfying—the house, the decor. I still remember her writing/swooning about the perfect leather pillow for a chair. “Things” don’t fill a void. She’s always come across to me as trying too hard to convince her readers that her version of life was pretty awesome. And perhaps it was/is. I got turned off for good when she began shilling dresses, jewelry, bedding, makeup…it all seems so materialistic.
At the heart of any family is, well, the family members. I wonder if Clair was a wake up call for her and David. In the end, the perfect pillow does not matter.
It is still puzzling to understand what prompted the complete break from their Arizona life is such a short period of time.

I suspect Becky was trying to become a decorating influencer with the separate Instagram account she created for Higgins Home. It probably didn't pay out the way she hoped it would.

Maybe she was just trying to keep the house stuff separate for the people who were scrapbookers and not interested in that. Personally, I hate it when my diy/home decor accounts start shilling meal subscriptions, teeth whitening strips, and photo books. 🤷🏼♀️ I think this is one of those “damned if you do, damned if you don’t” scenarios.

It was totally cringe-y, I thought. Creepy. The Gaines actually have a business. And a business plan. I’m sure there are fun parts for them but it’s a lot of work. I always felt like Becky was “playing store”, like kids do. Her “girl group” plus Race—was that his name?— of employees seemed to not take work seriously. (Maybe that’s why Race left??)
Dancing around their “office”, having shopping events, can’t even remember it all. So annoying, I thought. Just LISTEN TO YOUR CUSTOMERS!

Lest we forget, it was the Home by Becky Higgins collection. Yah, how did that work out again?... She teased the blip out of this new special project that would revolutionise our lives and then on launch day, we discovered she was just hustling to sell generic gift wrap. *whenever the stonewrap dance video gets brought up* ... Tag yourself, ladies! I'm the sinking-my-teeth-into-this-gift-wrap Becky.

Oh how this takes me back! I was there for the stone wrap craze-that-wasn’t. 😂
I haven’t thought about Becky in years and then I come back to find that she’s still out there trying to become an IG influencer. I guess I have to commend her persistence(?).
