Late to the party here but just… something is up. People don’t just do this - change their kids schools; change professional jobs; sell their newly built intentional “dream houses”. It’s very weird. Also, Claire is clearly wanting to transition, or at least go for a male or non-binary gender look/identification. That cannot be easy for someone in an LDS family, and can Ogden or wherever they are even “support” that path adequately, or is this an attempt to provide better indoctrination than AZ was providing? I worry for Claire. Becky just seems like such a light weight in the critical thinking department. And for the love of god I hate the game playing with respect to not just saying where they are! Ok rant over.

Ok rant over. I agree totally. It is very unusual to make so many life changes so abruptly. I, too, wonder if the Higgins felt Claire was getting the wrong “influences” in AZ which is ironic given Becky’s wannabe influencer tendencies. I wonder if they are getting her into Utah hoping to get her on (their) track. I feel bad for Claire having her life changes all so public. Give the girl some privacy as she navigates her choices.

I have identified several new developments in Weber County with finishes that match or are close to what BH has shown in the photo with her dog sunbathing (there is quite a bit of construction happening around Ogden). So far, the most expensive home I've seen in these developments is around the 1.2 million mark. ETA: example of one the house configurations in a new development I found

In my opinion, she has made such a huge deal of being an Ally, that I think this is not about Claire. She has rainbows all over. If she wanted a more conservative environment, she would not have declared herself an Ally, she would still be ignoring or trying to change that. I think this was more of a financial decision.

You are likely correct regarding the reason for moving being financial.
I do think she is one to want things both ways—in this case claiming ally-ship and deep down hoping C will grow out of it.
I hope it’s “just” financial. Still seems drastic. I mean—unfamiliar location, new employer for D, selling new house she documented up the yin yang. Moving, even a “do-it-yourself-with-church-help” move is costly.

There are no red flags re: Becky + Claire. I really wish people wouldn't speculate without proof. Becky's been a hawt mess who's made some terrible business decisions (and whatnot) but she's been publicly supportive on quite a few occasions, yes, even silly socks. Of course, it took one of her own kids for Becky to speak up (and likely shake some preconceptions/ideas). If they are indeed close to Ogden, they are in one of the most LGBTQ-friendly places in Utah (only bested by SLC it seems). Here's a good discussion on Reddit with Ogden residents talking about the city's LGBTQ-friendly status. Ockham's razor, people. They are facing important financial issues (foreclosure + lawsuit naming them both) and had one way to make some money, their McMansion home.

Fair enough about no red flags with Becky and Claire. I think I was seeing Utah itself as a red flag as I don’t picture it as being a very lgbtq+ friendly place, but I could be very wrong. Aren’t we all just speculating about the financial stuff too though? I just think she’s a dork and that this whole thing is weird no matter how she spins it.

Friendly reminder that gender identity is a deeply personal thing and we shouldn't make definitive observations about someone without actually knowing the person in question. Also, outing someone without their consent (I haven't seen this here, it's a general statement) is not something we should be doing! Whatever Claire's identity is is her business, maybe she's non-binary, maybe she wants to transition, maybe she's just butch - all are valid of course but not for us to decide. She'll make it public - or Becky will, let's be real - when/if she wants to. Not trying to be hand slappy here, it's just that queer issues are super important to me and something I'm vocal about.
It seems to me that this is a financial move as well due to what we know about the lawsuit, Becky might be shaky as an ally but she's definitely trying and I can appreciate that. Utah is a good fit for her given the LDS population, but given Ogden's reputation as an inclusive and LGBTQ+ friendly city, it should be good for Claire as well. Hopefully she'll be able to make some friends quickly and build her circle. But who knows... it'd be an interesting life as a fly on the Higgins' wall!

In Ontario we have Pom bread - a softer, squishier and yummier Wonder Bread. We also have Wonder Bread but it's just not as fresh as it used to be. At this time of year there is nothing better than Pom bread with butter and sliced local strawberries on top, eaten open-faced. My Dutch mom taught me this, she ate it growing up in Holland. So good. Dutch ✔️ Open faced strawberry sandwich ✔️ Ontario ✔️ But what is this Pom bread you speak of? Do you have a Sobey's? They sell it - it's prepackaged white bread but its always super soft. This is what the packaging looks like: www.pom.ca/en/products/pom®-ultra-moelleux-white-breadBetty's Bread is pretty good but I find Pom more consistent. Betty's is at Farm Boy and Metro.

Traveling North to South in Utah, it takes 6-7 hours. Salt Lake City is very LGBQT friendly. There has been a Lesbian mayor and it has been strongly Democrat for decades. There is a pride festival and parade in June. Ogden is not far away. They also have their own celebrations too. There is also the Utah Pride Center who provides amazing support and they are well aware of the unique issues of being Mormon and LGBQT. Yes, there are definite issues, but culturally I don't see a huge difference with her move. Both have a high population of Mormons. I live rural and I know of kids who have came out in high school and they have had lots of support, but yes it is harder.

Yes! I use villagio too! Also, I like to sprinkle just a wee bit of sugar on the strawberries. Yum. I’m going strawberry picking this week. Yes, I sprinkle a little sugar on it, too. Not much but just enough to take out any tartness from the strawberries. I've only had Villagio hamburger buns, I've never tried the bread. The buns are good, though.

You are likely correct regarding the reason for moving being financial. I have an egoistic reason for hoping the reason is financial: maybe this will get Becky to spend some TLC on the Project Life App….? I am still an app scrapper and would love to buy some new in-app kits. I can’t remember how long ago the last new kitts were added. Surely she could still make some money with the app?

That looks like Causey Reservoir in her photos, which is just east of Ogden Valley. I’m guessing she’s in Eden or Huntsville. I haven’t seen any real estate under her or her husband’s name so I’m wondering if maybe they’re renting. Or they put the house in a trust that doesn’t have Higgins in the name.

As someone in the process of packing up to move - Whaaaaaaa! When we get to our new place, priority #1 will be unpacking, BEFORE going out to 'explore' - I don't want to be coming home from a day of hiking or whatever and tripping over boxes, or not being able to find something I need.

Oh hush, who cares about settling in when the mountains are calling and you must go? She is loving all this attention. Look at the difference in numbers of comments between a regular post, even the one about her kids' summer camps, and her "Northern Utah" posts. It's easily 1:10. She hasn't had such engagement on IG for a long time. She will milk this mystery as much as she can and use it to relaunch her wannabe influencer career.

You're gonna be stuck unboxing your stuff because you didn't move close enough to mountains. How do you feel about "Northern Switzerland"? They may not have Grandma Sycamore's but at least you'll have a valid excuse to ignore your new home.

You know toes in the warm sand to represent the warmth and love of Jesus and seeing only 1 set of footprints, sunsets over the water as it glistens as we close out today and look forward to what tomorrow will bring, flying a kit and having faith that you will always be supported and carried, etc etc etc

She'll have to head home from the mountains and finally crack open those moving boxes to find her framed white Jesus print first... Should be easy with the coloured tape!

(sidenote---with all the raving from Becky's sycophants, I googled to see if ole Granny Sycamore sells online, but there's not even a website. Sidebar--- I'm pretty sure that sueg has access to bread that surpasses Granny's in EVERY way!

I could not agree more. Each box was color coded and labeled so it would FOR SURE get to the correct room for faster unpacking. Boxes that were needed for the first night in the house had their own labels. The only room that wasn't unpacked quickly was my scrap room. But then again I am very left-brained when it comes to being efficient.

Cut and paste from her post today:
" In the meantime … I’m happily doing the awkward + uncomfortable dance between emotions"
1. Is this like the awkward DANCING she did to shill wrapping paper? 2. Will this move require another vacay at Movara Resort?
