The way she writes these things you’d think her team are the only working moms on the planet. Women all over the world make sacrifices at work and at home. You want to run a business, it takes time. I agree with mom she’s over PL and doing anything but the minimum to crank out digital kits is too much for her. Unfortunately, I think that all those other things she’s trying to sell is done better by others. I wonder, other than the PL app, is anything she’s doing actually bringing in profit? I scrap almost exclusively PL, but I don’t use her product any longer because I don’t do digital and other than old product nothing new is in physical form that I can buy locally. It's because she aims to shame anyone who dares to say that she's making poor decisions. If she uses the 'feel sorry for me, we're all trying our best' her fans (does she have many left at this point?) will bash people who question her business decisions as if they are bashing HER. How dare you judge a PERSON just trying their best rather than what you are actually doing: expressing an opinion about a business decision.
If you agree/disagree with Nike's Kaepernick move, you are clearly not expressing an opinion about the CEO, board of directors, etc, but because her name is attached to her brand, it's a way to shame naysayers in advance of their opinions being shared by commingling Becky the person with Becky the brand. It is a strategy that intentionally limits feedback, which I guess could be viewed as smart if you want to keep things positive on a business making money hand over fist. However, if your business is deteriorating and you're known to shush people who may actually have constructive input, then it's maybe not so smart.

How hard is it to send a list of things they want and organize photos in a blog post? They actually look for the simplest iterations of PL possible to feature on their teams anyway. The effort would come in when they try to appeal to everyone. It's ridiculous because their move to consumer-participative product illustration is going to eat way more time. Waaay more. I've been behind that desk and done that kind of job. Instead of going through the selection process once for an entire year, you have to do it on the regular.
My bet? Becky and friends attended another "business seminar" that told them it's all about making your customers feel like they're part of the actual business. Participation, participation, participation, yadda yadda. "It's also an incentive for your audience to keep buying your product with each release in the hope of being featured." It's not that simple, it's not that easy. Good luck to the Becky girl gang member who'll be assigned the trask of whacking through the weed and finding what to repost.
In the name of the paper gods, this woman is just tiring and never capable of applying whatever cliché she preaches. Oh, look at that, a lengthy rant about how we should strive to use our time better. B*tch please, you can't sit on the stoop with us.

Yeah, that. Now someone will have to sort through hundreds of pieces of chaff each period to get to the kernels - instead of paying a few CT members a little bit to put out consistently good product. But maybe BH really does feel so stretched, like no one else has to make these choices and sacrifices. She does always come across as pretty spoiled. (She's not leaving her kids with a babysitter at night to work 2 extra jobs to pay the rent... I don't think she has any real sense of the place of privilege she's speaking from). And re the "we're just working moms" - OMFG - SHUT IT Becky!!!! She must be one of the most clueless women on the planet to keep complaining about her "woe is me, we have to WORK and be MOMS!!!!" meanwhile, pay no attention to the wealthy husband and the new house we're filling full of stuff. Wonder if she has any idea how terribly spoiled she is. No, of course not. And those who follow her don't seem to see it either. One well-off white woman, selling stuff to other well-off white women - all the while reminding you how selfless she is. |

I've made it clear that I want to support Becky...she's just making it too hard to give her money and I've moved on. I feel ripped off by the first class and now she is coming out with another class and no way will I buy that! After being duped with reviews from creative team members and her dad (among others) and being disappointed that the class wasn't marketed as a beginner class, I won't be giving her almost $100 again. We have been telling her what we want for years and she keeps telling us that we really want her #BHFAVORITES that are sold by other companies so I guess she doesn't really want our money.
It's pretty clear from her podcast that she lives a pretty privileged life. The cohost shares going through some hard things and Becky can't think of anything to add. She doesn't have any relatable stories about anything hard. She makes it sound like the hardest thing is deciding on which shade of white to put in her house. That's totally fine if you have a great life but don't attempt to make a podcast about hard things then. She also said that someone left a negative comment on the podcast and she deleted it. She said it in a joking way, but can producers of the podcast delete reviews? That would be weird.
I think something bigger is going on because she's been weepy in stories the last few days. I was expecting her to announce that she had to let someone else go.

crafty i’ve tried to be supportive of Becky as well, but she’s lost her way into products I’m not interested in. Project Life brought me back to scrapbooking. I’m forever grateful for that. I even enjoyed her rescue sessions where she helped people use Project Life to catch up on years and years of photos in boxes.

I do wonder what her coworkers think when Becky talks about having to cut back on spending on her business when she is constantly talking about the huge house she is having built.

Boy that didn’t lAst long. They just built that office for all the businessy things that she simply could not do from home! I guess posting your favorites from amazon (complete with cookies) can be done anywhere. I knew the office was just a way to make her seem more important or like a “working mom” when really, it was like a sorority. There was not enough money coming in to justify the overhead. |

From a business standpoint, remote employees can improve productivity and cut overhead. I'm a huge fan and have worked with remote employees for the last decade. For it to work for all parties involved, the company must have strong managers in place. A lot of people can struggle with working from home. They do laundry and dishes or run errands. Or worst of all, think they can still "watch" their kids. That doesn't work. And I think we all know what kind of manager Becky is. julie5 is right. It has always been one big sorority for Becky and her employees. Not a good fit for effective remote employees IMO. I guess we will see how long her business stays around. |

I peeked on her Instagram page to see if there was any announcements or peeks of new kits for the app for 2019. Nothing. It’s all podcast this, buy my class that, God here, my favorite stuff there. Very little actual memory keeping. I just don’t get it. Project Life is such a good idea but she’s running it into the ground. No wonder business appears to not be booming.

I wore maternity jeans for about a year after I had my son, until someone asked me when I was due - I threw them out that day, even though they were super comfy.

I have a rectangle body shape, so my stomach is where I gain weight...and I don't have the abs to hold my food babies in. Maternity jeans sound so comfortable  Also, I've accidentally wandered into the maternity section at Target and picked up an item to try on...only to realize my error in the fitting room. I mean, they have some cute designs these days! |

Nobody freakin' needed another 600-ish cards kit with a crazy amount of duplicates printed on rough, cheap paper.
