Today's email. We need a mole to report back. Who wants to take one for the team? The website states she is a "certified creation coach". By whom? No university is going to offer a certification in how to keep scrapbookers on track with their memory keeping.  |

I see you can sign up for 30 or 60 minute sessions - trying to figure out how you can determine just the right amount of mentoring time needed? I was so relieved to see that if needed Becky will step in and help.

30-60 minute sessions? That’s basically enough time to say hi and then get told to just scrapbook more. Any peas want some tough love I’m here for you, and as an Aussie pea my rates are super low due to the weak Aussie dollar 🤗

They just released new collections for the app and a couple of new LO packs I think.
I'm actually shocked she is still in the game trying something different. I think this is a swing and a miss but am surprised she was still batting at all.

Mentoring, help, ideas, constructive criticism, advice, tutoring, teaching, scrapbook coaching, encouragement, suggestions, scrapbooking and paper crafting discussion, product discussion, etc... all available right here. And >>> It's FREE! I think this means, that anyone who has actively participated on this (or any) General Scrapbooking and Paper Crafting message board....should be considered a >> "Certified Creation Coach".....for all the valuable, insightful wisdom and advice that has been dispensed here throughout the years. It's $60.00 for 60 minutes and $45.00 for 30 minutes. I think I'd rather call a sex hotline for the $1.00 a minute plus rate. I'd also like to get hired, because I have the same whatever attitude about scrapping. “done is better than perfect,” and “something is better than nothing.” Sign me up for tips on being basic.  |

FFS, I would have seen through that bullshit when I was an active member of the LDS church. Pay $2000.00 and I will give you the answers. She mentions energy healing, but there's this thing called priesthood blessings that are free.
There was this weird fad a few years ago with the prepper/all natural everything small subset of members where foot zoning and energy healing was a thing. I'm sure there's some things that are helpful but taking things from other cultures and claiming to be an expert that should be paid feels wrong. I think they still have conferences, but they got in trouble for trying to link it to the LDS church. Now it's Christ centered healing, but no mention of LDS or Mormon anywhere.

Please, there's this thing called Deseret Book, owned by the church. Buy a book from them if you must or borrow it from your library if available, but don't waste $2000.00.
There's a plethora of LDS General Conference talks online that will answer those questions where you integrate the Gospel with what you learn.

She always seem like she’s been a sheltered, in-a-safe-bubble kind of person who has either something just happen to her and it’s like brand new information. She then becomes the expert and just has to instruct those of us not lucky enough to have been given this revelation. Most of us grow up and figure stuff out throughout our lives. We read, we expose ourselves to various viewpoints. I feel like she’s been struggling with this for years—at least since she had an out-of-her-home office building. It’s almost like she missed high school/college experiences. |

I can’t decide if this is more or less cringy than slinging expensive wrapping paper and designing a “Becky” dress. Coaching seems to be the thing that has eclipsed blogging as a big internet moneymaker, so I guess I’m not too surprised. 🙄

She’s jumping into the cash cow that is life coaching. At least she knows better to stay in her lane and stick to what she can actually maybe help with. I personally don’t need her to tell me whatever she’d tell me for $ though!

To be fair, show wouldn't tell me anything because I rarely ask for help. I hate people telling me what to do. Would people really pay for her knowledge when you can just see so much online? Surely not.

I need to remove beggy from my IG feed. Her posts pop up and always seem to be self-congratulatory with instructive notes for us because I guess she’s learned SO MUCH that we couldn’t possibly have learned or figured out.
I thought she was in a mid-life crisis when she was still in Arizona. But I’m thinking she’s still in it. I’m over all her “articulating” whatever she is currently dealing with.

No, the app stays! Digital Project Life is for pc. From Becky’s email: “TO CLARIFY: Just so there’s no confusion, Digital Project Life is NOT the same as the Project Life APP. In fact, part of why we’re closing down DPL is to focus more of our energy and resources on making the mobile app better + better.” And: “This is 100% NOT connected to the Project Life mobile app. Digital Project Life is an entirely separate platform and products do not work across different platforms.
