It is $371 per square foot. The lot is .71 acres. Many of the homes around it are a fraction of the price. Hmmm. Seems like her professional designer might have been overpriced.

There’s definitely a perfection and beauty culture for women in Utah. It depends on your income level. I don't feel that pressure.  But she might also find that the downsized house she wants is way higher priced than she thinks it will be. Due to supply & demand the prices on small homes has gone out of whack. It’s not young people buying a starter home out there buying the 3BR ranches it’s people who are downsizing who luckily did sell their huge expensive house for more than it’s worth & they have money to burn to outbid people for what used to be a starter home. Yeah, the housing market is insane EVERYWHERE in Utah right now. I live in a small-ish town and my home has increased by about $150,000 and frankly, it's ridiculous. There's nothing cool about where I live.
My house is four bedrooms, 2 bathrooms, 1500 square feet finished, 500 square feet unfinished. Yes, the bedrooms are small. Also, interest rates are up. I COULD sell my home, but I couldn't afford anything bigger. Something smaller would be a town home. Even then, I doubt I'd be saving money. |

So she only wears black, white, or beige with LV bags. 😂 Also, they've dropped the price $150k so far. Finally, she backs up to that main road. I'm curious what the speed limit is because that backyard would bear the brunt of that road noise, as well as the dust in summer, salt dust in winter.
Those glasses are a choice for sure.

Well to be 1 million under asking price for my house ( which I’m not yet selling ) would be negative so I’m not even in her league. My house would easily sell for what I paid for it & the roof. Thankfully. These people with these huge expensive houses need to realize that life changed the last few years. The number of people who both want huge expensive house and can still afford a huge expensive house has shrunk. Less people actually want it and less people who want it can still afford it. They may not get what they want for that house. But she might also find that the downsized house she wants is way higher priced than she thinks it will be. Her new chin looks nice, a little softer, there’s my nice thing to say. But I think the other hair color was more flattering. I’m all for people taking steps to feel better about themselves. I just don’t always understand the steps they take or why they feel they need to take them, I think she was really cute in the before. But, what I think is irrelevant 🤷🏻♀️
I still don’t recognize her, just the brand, but the house video left a bad taste in my mouth so I don’t feel the need to follow her. She’s not even in crafting anymore is she? Haven’t seen her name anywhere except my shopping tote in years!

This could be old news, but what is this warehouse sale? You go to her house or a location, take classes, but can buy stuff from her house? Am I misunderstanding this? If I am understanding it correctly, you are trying to get people to buy your stuff, while offering them classes. Honestly, in my opinion, I am not going to buy stuff from someone who shows their wealth everywhere. It is a turnoff. I used to follow her and admired her, but then when it went downhill. Obviously she has followers that will support her and that is okay. Just not for me.

When I went to Creating Keepsakes University San Antonio in 2001, I was soooooexcited to have squeezed into one of BH's classes !!!!!!!!! I could not believe I actually got a much-coveted spot, because I'm pretty sure her classes filled up very quickly. When the day came for her class, imagine my disappointment when they announced she was ill and able to attend. I think I made a fun layout about how disappointed we all were, using her lettering styles, etc. Sheesh, I made an entire album about CKU and it is SO heavy and thick---lots of ephemera in that album !! I also met several peAple from two peas---that was sooo fun, too!!! We had a big welcome dinner at a great restaurant, and we were all marveling at how great it was to meet peas IRL, after only knowing eachother from a screen. I haven't looked at my CKU album in years, and writing this out makes me want to revisit it. Remember Rebecca Sower? I LOVED the layout we did in her class. Anna Griffin---ohhh, I loved (still love!) her papers! Also took a class from Lisa Bearnson, and I have to admit, I was so thrilled to meet her, too. I admit to being a silly fangirl, and it was just all so fun. I also took a FUN class with Stacy Julian---she was a hoot! I was in the thread on conventions and googling to figure out what year I went to CKU and this popped up. I had to run in to say I was there too! Her simple style was my favorite too so I was really disappointed as well. I remember winning an autographed copy of her book and giving it to my sister. Stacey Julian’s class was amazing. |

No, I was pretty new and dealing with quite a bit of depression at the time, I was proud of myself just for attending the event instead of cancelling! But that does sound fun. I don’t think I scrapbooked there, I pretty much only attended the classes and hung out a little bit in between them. |

I watched it. I still buy Heidi Swapp product and I do watch her lives - she is constantly creating and playing and I find that very fun and inspiring. I am currently following Stacy Julian's 100day project where she posts about iPhoto app tips - it's been really useful and I am learning a ton. I do have the project life app, but Becky feels the least authentic to me so I don't follow any of her social. I am grateful for CK and CKU because it met creative needs, outlet and inspo for me at a time I needed it.

I will always appreciate that she brought Project Life to the masses. It's my main way to scrapbook. I also think she had some good tips about how to get your photos and ephemera into albums instead of sitting in boxes or on your phone. But outside that, she tends to the annoying af side. The preaching is the worst. |

I get so many free ideas on You Tube and from Facebook scrapbooking groups, I am not going to pay Becky for them. In fact there have been so many videos lately I don't have time to watch them all.
Is she going to show ideas for Project Life or regular scrapbooking? Is she selling the products or get a kick back from recommending them? I guess I am not curious enough to pay for a subscription.
