No more international shipping. No more jewelry/handbags. No more trade shows. No more office (which we already knew).
Maybe new app. Yes to showing more use of product. Yes to “more solution based product.” Yes to more classes. Yes to an “adjustment” in PL is offered.
Did I miss anything?

So after reading that email, while getting ready this morning, I decided to put on her instagram stories and see what else she was up to. I didn't make it through them all because I just let it play while I straightened my hair and got dressed and apparently she has more stories than it takes to do that... but I have a comment that I really want to put out there.
There were TWO stories where she mentioned (one speaking and one in typed text) how perfect/beautiful the weather is where she is. I think this is SUPER insensitive to the fact that the majority of the USA is currently plunged into a polar vortex with record breaking cold weather that is making all the headlines. I am in the Northeast, so nowhere near the worst of it (like the Midwest), but in the last week we have seen 2 1/2 feet of snow and wind chills as low as -26 F/-32 C, but my thoughts are still with those in the Midwest and I am saddened that the death tolls are rising.
I get that Becky is in one of the few states in the US that isn't affected and it's perfectly normal for her to enjoy that weather (as a former Arizonan I definitely was thankful every winter at how amazing the weather was) but she should either (1) not comment; or (2) comment and then say how thankful she is to live in Arizona and her prayers/thoughts are with those in the Midwest/rest of the country. Then my next thought was--were these comments made because she is totally oblivious to what is happening in the rest of the country? Or is she gloating? Or does she just not care because it's not affecting her?
It just came off as super insensitive to me, but maybe I'm just grouchy that it was -1 F when I came into work this morning.
ETA: Here's some articles if anyone is curious about the cold I'm talking about here & here (not sure this is international news).

I thought the same thing about her weather posts. Absolutely no acknowledgement to the rest of the country that is frozen. Postal service is shut down here for two days and yet my kid has to go to school. It’s zero out. I can’t keep her home because she missed Monday due to sickness and cannot fall behind. But I’m so glad Becky is enjoying her best life hanging out with her friends and pretending they are actually working for a living. And seriously what the ever loving eff is up with Kari holts eyebrows. Her aesthetician needs to be fired stat. Wendy how too.

She rubbed an Adele concert in the faces of people who missed a show where she was. There were 2 scheduled and 1 was canceled due to illness. She acknowledged there were people who traveled from far away to attend that ended up missing the show that was canceled and then shrugged it off like these things happen all the time, then gloated about attending herself. Not the first time she has been inconsiderate to others.

There is definitely something wrong with her. Idk what it is but something is not right. I agree. Unhinged is the word that comes to mind, and it is a relatively recent, as in the last year or so, thing. Always privileged, aloof, and out of touch, yes, but there is something else going on now. The stories from the hike yesterday, OH MY WORD!!!

I wonder how much of her meltdown is related to the building of her new home.

I hadn't heard rumors of a new app?

Verbal diarrhea that made absolutely no sense. Nothing that a BUSINESS OWNER needed to put in a story. Lala land. Really weird. Becky P was in it with her.

Also weird is how she keeps tagging Becky p. Like “see, we’re friends! She still loves me even though I trashed her picture hanging skills to audience of thousands!”

Here's the link to the email if anyone wants to read it Becky's latest email I'm thankful for y'all so I can come here to catch up, stopped following her the beginning of last year because of the overload! I tried the first PL when it was a kit with CK? And one more, but it's not for me, just really liked her back in the sketch days.

lasteve1 I think that’s insensitive as well. I don’t think she’s gloating per se, just oblivious to reality for everyone else. Quoting myself. So actually the one where it's typed out about the weather is from the other lady...Kari? It's the one with her dogs. So that one is not from Becky. I felt like that one was more obliviously insensitive.

" Have you thought of visiting your local craft / hobby store and requesting that they carry our product? Stores want to carry stuff that customers will buy. If you tell them you want to buy the stuff … they’re a whole lot more likely to carry it. It’s just how that works. ; ) "
so, you can tell your local craft / hobby store what you want them to do, but you can't tell HER what you'd like HER company to do. right.
"To piggyback on that looonnnng update / email we sent you 2 weeks ago, I thought it would be good to give you the latest scoop. Not because I have to. Not because we feel obligated to share the inside details on business decisions. And certainly not because we owe any explanations of any kind. But we continue to communicate like we do (with a healthy dose of transparency) because it just feels good and right.
Just as I’ve been sharing, we’re “weeding the garden” around here. We are eliminating some things in order to better focus on the things that make the most sense and that we feel are the most meaningful ways for us to grow, which helps us to best serve you."
in my opinion, what she needs to "weed" out of the garden is at least half of the words in her e-mails! honestly, she uses soooooo many words in those sentences that it's hard to even figure out what she's saying. [noun + verb + object] (with maybe a couple adjectives for good measure) isn't really that difficult... or is it?

Like Kari was talking about how the dogs are always interrupting her with the going in/going out and Becky was commenting "Raise your hand if you think Kari should just leave that door wide open today!! It's seriously gorgeous today!" Pretty sure that Kari lives locally to Becky.
I think, but maybe I'm wrong, that the team members send their videos to Becky and then she uploads them and adds the typed commentary because it definitely sounds like her and is framed as if it's her (e.g. referring to Kari by name as opposed to saying "I").

The good news is that you guys don’t have to know all the nitty gritty stuff that happens behind the scenes in order for us to have a clear understanding of what’s working and what’s simply NOT working, you know? This is our job.
This made me LOL....then stop inundating us with all the nitty gritty stuff!
These emails just read so unprofessional and bratty to me. Yuck!

That is such good advice. Thanks for cracking me up. I'll have to check out one of the good conferences without the BS. I'm interested in the topic, so meeting someone would be a bonus. If you're interested in the topic, I can recommend some podcasts to get you started and thinking. Let me know. I'm always looking for interesting podcasts. I would love that. Thank you!

If you're interested in the topic, I can recommend some podcasts to get you started and thinking. Let me know. I'm always looking for interesting podcasts. I would love that. Thank you! The Scathing Atheist (current news and hot topics discussion) and God Awful Movies (religious movies being critiqued) are by the same crew and really well done. They also do the biweekly Skepticrat (discussing politics from an atheist and humanist point of view). Thank God I'm Atheist and The How-To Heretic (specifically aimed at people leaving religion and trying to come to terms with the world as it is but I love it nonetheless) are by a funny and smart bunch of ex-Mormons (mix of gay and straight). A little rougher in (sometimes juvenile) humour but still a solid duo of open-minded atheists who try to practice empathy and understanding (a lot of talk about understanding patriarchy, gender issues including transgender matters) that you may want to check out: Cognitive Dissonance. Seth Andrews' Thinking Atheist is more of a radio format. He's got a smooth voice and no script (but does great without one). Thomas Smith is an atheist buth his Serious Inquiries Only podcast is definitely 100% humanistic these days. He doesn't discuss religion much on it anymore but does talk about important matters like #MeToo, feminism (and the place of men in carrying the movement), LGBTQ, etc. He's sometimes featured as a guest on the shows mentioned above and is also the co-host of one of the best American law podcasts, Opening Arguments which has been a lifesaver in understanding all the crazy US lawsuits and current state (a lot of Freedom From Religion Foundation discussions but also the Trump government, Mueller's investigations and more). So, not quite atheist but same vibes.
While Sam Harris is probably the biggest name in the community, he's problematic on certain matters and likes to play with words in ways that are actually not constructive in the greater debate at times. I still listen occasionally but he's not part of my personal recommendations. Still, I thought it was only fair to mention him considering the size of his (problematic) following. Don't expect progressive thinking and acceptance on some core humanist issues with his crowd.
All of these podcasts are currently active and posting weekly. Enjoy dipping your toe into the atheist podcast world!

Although International shipping was $99, and now it's not even an option (I would never have paid that, anyway) so that's not helping me here in Canada, lol - she could have attempted to lower it. And seriously what the ever loving eff is up with Kari holts eyebrows. Her aesthetician needs to be fired stat. So that's eyebrow lady's name? I showed my husband and son those eyebrows and they were horrified.

Honestly I'm pretty disappointed in women for not leaving religion at the same rate as men. Especially because most religions tend to treat men much better than women. Here's one example of a quote from a former LDS prophet that has been a predominant theme for generations.
"No Success can Compensate for Failure in the Home." Directly aimed at women.
And to the other peas, for the love of GOD (If you are a believer ) This Mormon women instagrammar thing is insane. That is NOT the norm. Women are overweight, skinny, tomboys, cowgirls, fashion lovers, fashion-could-not-carelessers, and a whole host of other things. It's not a stepford's wives kind of thing.
More women in the state of Utah work outside the home than stay home. When I did go to church there were various occupations women held, teachers, preschool owner, pharmacist, business owner, mortgage broker, and medical assistants are the ones I can think of right away. I come from a family of five siblings, my husband has six siblings. Every single one of them work outside the home except me.
My job at home is taking care of a son with severe special needs.

Those eyebrows need major help. The problem is that she has overtweezed in between the brows. The most appealing eyebrow shape should begin straight up from the outside of your nose. She should consider microblading to correct how far in she's went with her tweezers. They are so severely separated that it is distacting when you look at her face
