Those instastories are an unprofessional mess. They basically told everyone anxious for the update to get a life. Trust them because they know what they are doing. Pat pat on the head silly customers. Unbelievable.

This announcement was so rude. Rather than being happy that people want to buy your product, they are telling their customers to get a life. I have an idea, release the Project 12 kit the month before so people aren’t frustrated that it is the month without it. Last month there was an announcement they didn’t get something done for the class because they were at a trade show. Here’s a business model, stop recommending crap from other people and make a map of your to-dos.
This announcement should have been framed with, “ This release has some features that you’ve been waiting for and it’s taking longer than expected. It’s coming soon, and we know you will be excited with what’s coming.” Instead we were told to get a life.
Becky P is turning into the Queen mean girl right next to Wendy-who wants to be the told constantly that she’s the “hot grandma”. Becky H just wants to hang out with her girls.
I actually think Kari tries to be professional but it’s like herding cats.

I actually think Kari tries to be professional but it’s like herding cats. This exactly. Becky P seems to be the worst, probably because she’s the newest and trying so hard to be one of them. The meanness towards Kari makes me think of the girl they let go right before Becky P came on, she would’ve been the one they picked on before. I wonder if there was more going on there. Becky H also posted a photo today of the 4 of them and talked about sisters/best friends. I think you’re doing something wrong if your entire “team” at your business is also your best friend group. You should be hiring people because they are skilled to do the job, not so you can pay them to be your bff. |

But that’s the thing, Kari said we shouldn’t expect a monthly update, they never said they would do a monthly update. And you can still scrapbook February without the cards. I thought the whole idea of Project 12 is monthly (hence the 12)? Release it all at once, then, like Project 52 or whatever kit. The whole point, for some people, is the ENJOYMENT of using product when they sit down to scrap, not leaving sad gaps where happy cards should live. Hopefully someone out there will handslap me and say it's just paper and glue. 
BH is circling the drain. She really needs to hire professionals if she wants her business to continue, but she needs all the feels, as the cool girls say.

(why buy from HER specifically, I mean?) you shouldn't have to wait for the product if it's supposed to be a monthly thing. If she can't get her monthly content out on time, then people will just buy the product from some other company that can.

Honestly, any of you would be lucky to know either of these ladies in the real world. They are as real as they come. I understand your need and desire to defend your friends but we weren't just picking up on yesterday's stories. Quite a few of us have picked up on repeated toxic behaviour from the behind-the-scenes snippets at the BH HQ. It could be we're wrong and simply don't "get" the subculture, it could also be that it takes distance and a healthy social group to see that another social group isn't quite as positive and good as one previously thought it was.
Anyway, since you've already made it clear you'll be a one-post wonder (and that we just have to accept that you're the "girl before BP" because you anonymously claimed so), there is no discussion to be had as you've left your testimony in defense of the BH gang and won't return to engage or allow us to respond and question. An online board is not a one-way street. I can only express publicly that no, I honestly wouldn't be lucky to know Wendy in real life. Kari is another story. I've said before she seems genuinely sweet and actually appears to be the one working behind the scenes to keep the Project Life aspect of BH's brand alive.

Why doesn’t BH just admit she’s over it and either close up shop or hand the reins to someone else? Even Stevie Wonder can see that turning BH into a lifestyle guru/brand is not going to happen.

Why doesn’t BH just admit she’s over it and either close up shop or hand the reins to someone else? Because she's addicted to launching new subscription boxes? What the fuckity fuck-fuck is the new hawt mess of a box they're launching with May Designs? Two TN-sized notebooks (because they're going to milk the SC TN supplier), three pencils of the same color, one card with envelope, a few small squares of paper with Micah's advice on how to practice self-care ("Put on a face mask" #lifechanging) for $30 m-2-m? The cuckoo just gets cuckoo-ier with each sub box.

I know she has said that she will do things the way she wants and won’t compromise her dignity but she should consider their behavior-especially if she wants to continue to employ people. I think that we’ve all said things that have been “taken wrong” but basically telling paying customers to stop bothering them and “go get a pedicure” doesn’t seem to “be kind”. If this is wit and sarcasm being used it isn’t translating. It really rings as mean girls (except Kari- and Molly who has taken her own set of digs over the years). |

The giant cavernous whole in scrapping is documenting our non-parent, non-special-event lives - i.e., WORK. I look in every release season for fun lines about work, office, owning your own business, customers, clients, bosses (not #BossBabe bs), work stories, etc. With the exception of a few stamps every now and there - there are NONE! Every season gets documented to death: Valentine's release - every year; Spring release - every year; Travel release - every year, etc., etc., etc. Why are there no work releases - every year?!? That's for freaking sure. When I worked in an office, documenting normal weeks was the worst. Because I felt like I had nothing to talk about. Even now that I work remote, I still am alone at my computer for most of the day, so finding things to scrap is really tough. I think it's hard for scrapbook designers to relate because it's not their life at all. The Peas just need to start our own scrapbook line, haha. I would like some paper and stickers about commuting, cubicles, etc |

This needs to be repeated, the company and "management" have been in the scrap biz for years. It shouldn't be hard to anticipate a yearly product line, and surely it doesn't take industry insiders to know it starts in January with twelve months in a year. |

I checked out Becky’s IG today and she’s promoting a couple of speaking engagements discussing how to cultivate a good life. The first one is at a pinners conference. I hope there’s a Q & A and some Peas show up to that one. Becky could use a dose of reality.
The second is for girls 11-16 to teach them how to cultivate a good life. Let’s face it—Becky's good life revolves around materialism and self importance. If I were the mother of a girl that age that’s the last thing I’d want her to be doing.

Speaking of a mother of a girl in that age range...I can see her talking to a group of girls from her church who live in the same type of bubble she does, otherwise I can't imagine. She got a job at CK through her mom going to church with Lisa B. then had her husband finance her company, not exactly a story of hard work overcoming the odds. Add in the LDS lifestyle (not that there's anything wrong with that but it's not that relateable to the majority of people) and how she likes to play Miss Perfect and just nope. |
