She dangles scrapbooking/PL like a carrot so she doesn't lose her entire audience, all the while resenting us for daring to want the carrot she's dangling. She wants us to want things we don't want in order to launch a new 'career' with an existing audience so she doesn't have to do any of the hard work in building up a following all over again. Since that doesn't appear to be working, she has devolved into toddler like tantrums. Aww, that's a disservice to toddlers everywhere.  Seriously though, quit asking what people want and getting pissed when we tell you. I'm done, I finally unfollowed (took me long enough right? ), there are too many other companies out there to waste time waiting for her to give scrappers what we need. I have 3x4 and 4x6 dies, and plenty of cardstock and ink, and so many cute cutfiles and images that I think I'm gonna start making my own cards for my albums. |

All I'm waiting for are the square kits to hit TM...between Joann's thinking my local stores weren't good enough to stock them and BH's attitude not being worthy of more than $6.99 from me for a core kit, it's the most I'm willing to pay for them now, lol.
I actually just pulled a ton of cut aparts from various places in my room to cut up. I can't fit them all in my existing storage because I cut up some scraps and lightly patterned (reads solid) 12x12 papers that I kept from collections I purged the rest of over the weekend, but they're pulled and ready for me when I choose to use them. Most of us have plenty of stuff to make our own PL supplies and eventually that's all that's going to be left on the market, I think.

As one who sat and watched TC go thru the exact same thing (and was sadly also privy to how much she talked crap behind that straw hair), it's interesting to see BH go down that exact same road of disdain and suddenly thinking they're above us mere scrapbookers (and that's how she comes off).
I didn't care for Heidi Swapp early on, but have to say I am so impressed by her strength as she figures a way thru this thing called life and still manages to inspire her customers. She has won me over completely. And I love her post on NSD right in the face of BH. That's awesome!
I've started to purge my scrapbook room of papers and kits that repulse me - TC's are going out first, but I'm going to find a way to use those PL holders (I was already doing a hybrid combo of regular page with a PL page so I can make that work. But I think it's time to get rid of the fugly repetitive BH cards - they can be purged too.
TC and BH no longer spark joy!

Heidi hugs. Girl is good at giving shade. I love a good shade girl. I do agree with Heidi. Even if I don't agree with shade I love when you have a master at it, lol. I think more than anything, she was trying to be positive and encouraging. |

You know some of us were scrapbooking this weekend & stopped to take a break & what do we see? Negative Posts about scrapbooking. Dude it’s NSD, nearly everyone else is encouraging me to create & buy thier stuff to create. Many of whom were successful getting me to spend my money! But Becky’s nearly tells us to not bother. Yeah, no problem I won’t bother with you! |

She babbles on for a bit, admits she's being vague but insists that we'll find value in attending, says we'll come away with tools for cultivating a better life and maybe we'll make a new friend or figure out our stories are worth documenting. Someone asks for more detail on what it is, so instead she tells us what it isn't. Makes it very clear that it's *not* a crop, so don't bring your stuff, and she won't be discussing the app because we all know how to use the app. Then she says she wants to answer questions but the video cuts off before she actually answers anything. Still don't know wtf this event is supposed to be. ETA, I thought it was done but there's more. My computer got glitchy. I think theres another half hour of her babbling. brb. ETA, Not a religious event, but there may be mentions of "faith" or "God". Over 18 only, no live stream, hour break for lunch. ETA, It's about "living the story you want to tell." Hanging out and talking about cultivating that good life and recording it, but *not* scrapbooking it. She's going to "meet us where we are" and inspire the crap out of us whether we think we need it or not. |

It just amazes me how every time she says anything she really says nothing. I don’t know why anyone in their right mind would shell out that kind of money for what’s essentially a mystery event. |

I don’t know why anyone in their right mind would shell out that kind of money for what’s essentially a mystery event. Bingo! She says a lot of words, but doesn't say content at all. She reminds me of when I sit on interview teams and the candidate knows all the current industry buzz words, but doesn't understand how to apply them to real-life scenarios. She just keeps telling us to "cultivate" and "evolve" but offers no strategies to apply that to MEMORY KEEPING because she is the guru of that...not a life coach or preacher. |

So she’s a documenting guru, but don’t ask about scrapbooking. She’s having a live event, no documenting if any sort except maybe a picture of you kissing her ring. She posts on international scrapbook day that no matter how you do it, it’s ok except not really. Then doesn’t post anything for at least 36 hours.
Someone’s ego is BRUISED. She looooves looking at herself so I’m certain she’s written 5 drafts of a hateful email that will probably come out the day of live event and she’ll probavly even put down her paid attendees because she is just that big a bitch.
