imsirius: I think 'someone' had a busy morning, but by the way those tweets are written, it wasn't DT. These sentences are actually coherent; one of his staffers has been busy. Sadly, it's VERY apparent which ones he writes and which ones he doesn't.

David Chadian...
“The end of the @chriscuomo and Rudy Giuliani conversation perfectly captures our modern moment: Giuliani: It’s in the eye of the beholder. Cuomo: No, facts are not in the eye of the beholder. Giuliani: Nowadays they are”
Sad but true.

trump..
“Great Republican election results last night. So far we have the team we want. 8 for 9 in Special Elections. Red Wave!”
I wonder if this is what he was talking about.
Kyle Griffin...
Big Democratic turnout in last night's gubernatorial primaries:
“Minnesota: Dem 580,962 GOP 319,276 D +261,686
Wisconsin: Dem 537,840 GOP 456,007 D +81,833
Connecticut: Dem 211,499 GOP 142,890 D +68,609
Vermont: Dem 57,102 GOP 35,840 D +21,262”
This isn’t going to mean anything if the Democrats don’t turn out like this in November.

Peter Strzok... “I've been BLOCKED by the president. He doesn't seem to like my idea of having televised resignation ceremony. #BadgeofHonor” trump... “Tom Fitton of Judicial Watch: “The Strzok firing is as much about the Mueller operation as anything else. There would be no Mueller Special Councel to investigate so called collusion but for the machinations of Strzok & his colleagues at the top levels of the FBI. We know this... guy was corrupt and had anti-Trump animus. Strzok and others at the FBI should be criminally investigated for the way the conducted this investigation. Instead, Mueller is pretending nothing went wrong. He used Strzok, he used the Clinton DNC Dossier...the whole thing.... should be shut down. The Strzok firing shows that the fundamental underpinnings of the investigation were corrupt. It should be shut down by the courts or by honest prosecutors.” Thank you Judicial Watch, I couldn’t have said it better myself!” Once again trump has shown how much of a coward he is. He lashes out at Strzok, with lies, on twitter and when Strzok responds he blocks him on twitter. Personally I think Strzok is full of himself but other then expressing his opinions it would appear he shouldn’t have been fired. And it appears he has a sense of humor as well. I like that tweet. Televised resignation ceremony, I like it. Did Strzok really say that? I know there is an account on Twitter that people think is him and it gets millions of retweets. But it's not him.

There are no words - he's such a jerk!
He's only doing all this because these are Obama era people and that just gets under his skin.
Just because they have their security clearance revoked doesn't stop them from talking. They can still talk about what an idiot he is - they are American citizens and have a 1st amendment right to give their opinion.
And it's not like they will all of a sudden forget what they know!
None of them have given away any classified information anyway.
He's such a jerk!

Adam Schiff,,,
“In adding John Brennan to his enemies list, Trump demonstrates again how deeply insecure and vindictive he is — two character flaws dangerous in any President.
An enemies list is ugly, undemocratic and un-American. I also believe this action to silence a critic is unlawful.”
Yup.

Kaitlan Collins...
“The date on President Trump's statement about revoking John Brennan's security clearance? July 26. Three weeks ago. I guess it's just a coincidence that the White House decided to announce this as they struggle to deal with the fallout from Omarosa's book.”
While he is using this as a distraction tactic, it doesn’t change the fact it’s a dangerous move on his part.
And I’m sure Omarosa will get back in the spotlight quick enough.

John Brennan...
“This action is part of a broader effort by Mr. Trump to suppress freedom of speech & punish critics. It should gravely worry all Americans, including intelligence professionals, about the cost of speaking out. My principles are worth far more than clearances. I will not relent.”
You keep wondering have we hit bottom yet, but t4ump keeps digging the hole deeper and deeper.

“To announce that there must be no criticism of the President, or that we are to stand by the President, right or wrong, is not only unpatriotic and servile, but is morally treasonable to the American public.”

Diplomats who have kids with special needs say Pompeo is ignoring their pleas: report BY JOHN BOWDEN - 08/15/18 10:00 AM EDT
A group representing nearly 1,400 families of State Department diplomats is reportedly urging Secretary Mike Pompeo to stop the cuts to their disability and health benefits.
The Foreign Service Families With Disabilities Alliance warned Pompeo in a May letter that the department's Bureau of Medical Services was taking “deleterious actions” to cut funding required under disability law, Foreign Policy reported Tuesday. ** The cuts are having a negative effect on business at the State Department, according to the group, which argues that diplomats are hesitant to take up important posts for fear of having their quality of their children's care further eroded.
One incident reported to FP by two State Department officials involved an employee who was asked to repay approximately $40,000 after being informed that tens of thousands of dollars in medical care approved for a child with special needs was a "mistake."
“They’re saying, ‘Oh, we’re sorry we gave you that money we shouldn’t have given you years ago. You owe us $40,000,’” said one unidentified department employee. ** The letter comes following a 2015 FP investigation that found that the department had arbitrarily cut funding for children with autism and attention deficit hyperactivity disorder (ADHD), while also revoking medical clearances for some families required for foreign State Department postings. ** more at link: thehill.com/homenews/administration/401916-diplomats-who-have-kids-with-special-needs-say-pompeo-ignoring-their

linkI heard art about this interview trump gave the WSJ. It’s something else. From the article.. WASHINGTON—President Trump drew a direct connection between the special counsel investigation into alleged Russian interference in the 2016 election and his decision to revoke the security clearance of former CIA Director John Brennan and review the clearances of several other former officials. In an interview Wednesday, Mr. Trump cited Mr. Brennan as among those he held responsible for the investigation, which also is looking into whether there was collusion between the Trump campaign and the Kremlin. Mr. Trump has denied collusion, and Russia has denied interfering. & “I call it the rigged witch hunt, [it] is a sham,” Mr. Trump said in an interview. “And these people led it!” He added: “So I think it’s something that had to be done.” Mr. Brennan—who since leaving office has become a frequent critic of the Republican president—in a tweet called the revocation of his clearance “part of a broader effort by Mr. Trump to suppress freedom of speech & punish critics.” He wrote it “should gravely worry all Americans, including intelligence professionals, about the cost of speaking out.” & “Earlier in the day, White House spokeswoman Sarah Sanders said the administration was also reviewing the clearances of former Director of National Intelligence James Clapper, former FBI Director James Comey, and former National Security Agency and CIA chief Michael Hayden. “I don’t trust many of those people on that list,” Mr. Trump said in the interview. “I think that they’re very duplicitous. I think they’re not good people.” & “In a statement that accompanied the announcement to revoke the security clearance, Mr. Trump cited what he called Mr. Brennan’s “wild outbursts on the internet and television” as reasons for the move.” This my favorite. “Mr. Trump’s statement made no suggestion Mr. Brennan gave away classified information or revealed national secrets, a common reason for revoking security clearances.”
