Unfortunately dt base is saying what does this have to do with Russia? therefore no biggy.................. House very unlikely to impeach................ Oh, this is only the beginning. The Russian indictments are still to come. No biggy? That's a laugh. Cohen is blaming the President for the campaign violations. Payoffs to a stripper... I want to hear how the evangelical leaders spin that one. ETA: I honestly don't care if they impeach. Let the investigation continue. Let's see where it goes. It's going to be absolutely devastating and completely humiliating to Trump. I want him in jail on criminal charges. Just wait.

Prediction: Trump won't mention Manafort or Cohen tonight at his rally at all. The whole rally will be about the politicization of Mollie Tibbets' death, and will feature "build that wall" chants.
Because:

Because: ADD ON PREDICTION...(to trumps talking points) MAnafort wasn’t anything to the campaign and left, he was a mere pizza delivery guy who occasionally brought coffee. Cohen wasn’t a friend or close to trump, he was just a thug who glomped his way into the campaign like a begging dog and trump was only doing him a favor helping him out.

From Chris Geider... “This is the tamest part of this Brett Kavanaugh memo, sent 20 years ago this past week. (Specific questions followed.) At this point, it's pretty clear he thought Clinton should be out of office. archives.gov/files/research…” From the memo and see if it reminds you of the current occupant of the Oval Office... Memo From Kavanaugh to Starr on 8/15/98 ”I am strongly opposed to giving the President any “break” in the questioning regarding the details of the Lewinsky relationship — unless before his questioning on Monday he either 1) resigns 2) confess perjury and issues a public apology to you. What has especially convinced me of the appropriateness of obtaining his “full and complete” testimony regarding the precise details of the relationship are the sheer numbers of his wrongful acts. The president has disgraced his office, the legal system , and the American People by having sex with a 22 year old intern and turning her life into shambles — callous and disgusting behavior has somehow gotten lost in the shuffle. He has committed perjury (at least) in the Jones case. He has turned the Secret Service upside down. He has required the urgent attention of the court and the Supreme Court for frivolous privilege claims — all to cover up his oral sex from an intern. He has lied to his aides, he has lied to the American People. He has tried to disgrace you and the office with a sustained propaganda campaign that would make Nixon blush.” The entire memo is in the link. Here he was ready to string up Bill Clinton because of his “sustained propaganda” against Starr and his office. Over lying about sex. In the big picture not really a biggie to be honest. Now on it’s been said that Kavanaugh doesn’t think a sitting president should be “encumbered “ by criminal investigations or charges he has other things he should focus on. For the current president it’s golf. So which is it? Did he change his opinion? This is why I don’t believe the Republicans should rush his confirmation without exploring all his writings and opinions first. There is also the possibility that he lied, under oath, during his last confirmation hearing that needs to be addressed. Would he apply THAT reasoning to the current occupant if the Oval Office?

just heard on news:
George Papadopoulos, the embattled former foreign policy advisor to Donald Trump's campaign, was strongly considering backing away from the plea deal and go to trial.
After today. Never mind.
Sentencing soon. (didn't catch when)

Kavanaugh now seems to think that presidents should not be charged or whatever while in office........ He has changed his mind since he brutally went after Clinton with his list of extremely detailed personal questions! Kavanaugh has gone from one extreme to the other! (I am not saying that the questions should not have been asked and I certainly do not approve of Clinton's behavior.)

Do conservatives want their justice badly enough to put up with this history of hypocrisy? Yes, yes they do. They'll give him a lifetime on the bench.

Josh Dawsey...
“Trump, mid-rally, goes off on a tangent on what a great turkey his mother made for Thanksgiving. Said it took eight hours to cook and was "the greatest turkey you'd ever have." Unclear why he is talking about his mother's turkey.”
I said it might be odd tonight at his “make my ego feel good” rally.

(If you use Congressmen generally to mean members of both the House and Senate.) Please, please, please, let there be some damning new revelation about Dobby.

Most legal analysts (not under the influence of the orange kool-aid) state that dt is now an "unindicted co-conspiractor" to Cohen's crimes.
