I loved that the shipping update was "we'll let you know when we figure it out" (as well as 7AM)

Are they a bit behind this year? Shouldn't they have figured that out already?

I wonder if Ali & Co could buy something like hmmm...I don't know just spitballing ideas here...but maybe like a calendar or something so they could remember that December shows up on a pretty consistent basis...about every 12 months or so. |

Sneaks are out for newsletter subscribers for Elle's Studio's kit and OMG, I think I need the candy cane stripe puffy alpha in my life!!! The 2 tone green one doesn't strike my fancy, but that red/white one is amazing. I also love that even though it's not the 10th, she's allowing kit subscribers to bundle. I might pick up a few things. The email says there is a kit plus another 20+ add-on items. The stamp is in the add-on so I'm thinking there won't be one in the main kit.

I stand corrected...there are TWO add-on stamp sets. I am going to try and add the images...I apologize in advance is this is a monumental failure as this will be a first for me. The kit looks nice, but I really don't like acrylic (it's way too bulky) and I don't get the hype regarding sequins, either. I wish those were add-on items and not parts of the main kit. Swap those for a set of chipboard stickers and  from me. Attachments:

Love the Elle’s sneaks as well. That color palette is so much more my speed, and I LOVE those green alphas. Will definitely be shopping there next week!

Yes, the SS album has the thick spine too. I wish they would start making all their 6x8 albums with the thick spine, not just the Christmas one. I REALLY like the look of the SS album... AND that it is currently on sale at SB.com right now.... my only reservation is the SS 2 ring vs the AE 6 ring. Gah! What's a girl to do?? 🤔🤔🤔🤣 |

I just bought 4 of the black and white flowers albums from felicity janes 40% off birthday sale
Her albums are stunning, they are last years dd albums and they are so beautiful and come in a dust bag which I love
International Shipping was crazy and basically made the albums full price for me, but that was enough to make them worth the price for me
I bought them for another project but I would totally recommend them for dd

You can use AE protectors in it (like the 3x8) since the 2 holes line up with 2 of the 6 configuration from AE. |

I have this album too and just love it! Going to use it for a wedding album for myself of my daughter's wedding, since she wanted a 12x12 album for herself.
I also have the white with little black polka dots and love that one also, but it is a 2-3 ring. I am using this one for Christmas this year.

I have a confession to make. I purchased kits 2 years in a row (I think in 2015 and 2016) from Ali Edwards. I purchased main kits and some extra add on kits. I HAVE NEVER DONE A DECEMBER DAILY. I used quite a lot of the cards and papers during the month of December in my regular PL album over the past several years but I have never actually done the daily work. I love the idea of it. I am not sure I would be able to keep up with it. I might give it a try this year but if I do I am not going to purchase any supplies. The main problem is that I see all of these beautiful holiday goodies and I want them all. Maybe I will make a pact with myself that if I complete an album this year I can get some new supplies next year. I think if I go and take a look at all of my supplies I will be inspired and realize I don't need more at the moment. Anyone else in this boat?

I don't do PL but I like DD. The trick for me is making sure I prep my pages ahead of time so all I have to do is take photos, print and do some quick journaling every day.
