She also added another sneak. I guess they are selling gift packaging this year as well. She said gift tags and bags that will be available at a different time than the December Daily release. More "lifestyle" brand stuff. Typical Inked.

Meh. Not interested in anything. It's cute but I am just not super interested in a whole album this year. I might buy Kelly Purkey's kit if I love it and do Christmas within my normal album.

Thank you so much for posting the screenshots, lasteve1! *blows kiss*
Of course Ali posts DD sneaks while I'm away at the movies... Typical.
First thoughts (not that my opinion matters):
1. I like burgundy in general. I don't mind burgundy here at all. Alas, it's on the dull side of the colour. Burgundy can be rich and vibrant, merde alors! *shakes fist*
2. Those greens though. I was hoping for a change and some dramatic, seasonal pine greens #hearteyes but nope, we're stuck in the bleh, dull (there's that word again), warm-toned hues. It's so 1970s. Spinach and olive vomit. No me gusta at all.
3. The chipboard shapes with printed patterns like the tiny stars seem like such a waste of money to me. That chipboard is 'spensive (come on, nicolep, spell it out for us! ). I need every square millimetre (or 0.0394 inch for you 'Muricans ) to be on the money!
4. A December planner, really? $20 (or more) for a planner for 1 month of the year? Seriously? It's $29 for 18 months with the Happy Planner. You do the math. I'm just rolling my eyes at this. AE's loyal base must be top tier middle class (and carefree with their moneez). Knock-off TN from AX for $2 (including shipping), a date stamp set or roller stamp and, voilà, boom, you're done, baby!
5. Gift bags with AE's handwriting? Erm, ok then. I'm sure Inked know where they're going with this (the Sale section next year).

I love the colors. Typically I talk myself out of Ali's kit because of the colors, but I'm all about the traditional colors so this is right up my alley.
I also love stars and circles for DD so I'm sure I'll put those million dollar chapbooks in my cart (and probably the 4x6 too) I'm a chipboard and sticker junkie.
I don't recall the planner being that popular last year. So why bother doing it in 2 sizes this year? Now if that 3x8 was $9.99 I'd consider it as corraling December in one play is cool, but I'm sure it'll be $20-25. I'll just make a TN insert with my large Christmas stash.
I'm going to guess the bags and gift stuff wasn't Ali's idea. I'm sure they'll all be over priced, but the super followers will need them.

I am glad Ali has shown some sneaks this early. And I am glad I haven't really loved anything shown yet -- safer for my wallet. I don't love the color scheme this year and sure there were some cute things but nothing I would want to pay top dollar for. I liked the covers of both the planners/journal. I am hoping she'll offer an album with one of those covers. Does anyone know if there will be Guest Designers for mini kits this year??

The DD journal did sell out and they did restock - I loved it so much I bought one each of those times ☺️

I want to know who is on the naughty list (still not finished with 2017's DD) and who is on the nice list (finished 2017's DD). I'm on the nice list and finished my album in January. But for exactly the reason we are discussing here...I spent $150 plus on that album and can't afford to not have it completed and able to be enjoyed. I would be so bothered with leaving it undone. I'm on the naughty list and I spent $150 on product (insert head hung in shame here). It was my first year attempting a true DD album. I'm about 1/2 way done. Not sure what I want to do about buying new product for 2018 or if I even want to attempt a separate album again. At very least, will set a budget for supplies. The total really snuck up on me.

Well, then that's why they're offering 2 options this year.

Not liking the color scheme this year at all. I'm considering going back to what I did in 2016. I used a 6 x 6 album from we are memory keepers with 6 x 6 paper pads and embellishments in the same collection. I added gold accents . Easy and done .
Sorry to say that I'm on the naughty list for my DD albums from 2014 and 2015 . Really need to get those albums done since this is such an expensive project. I do think I have better success when I keep this project simple. Christmas scrapbooking supplies are always so tempting though!

I do like what I’ve seen so far, although the colours so far aren’t my Christmas preferences. I like vibrant given it Summer for me and those dark colours don’t really work as well. I shall remain open minded though and look forward to seeing more! I like the planner, but can’t justify it on top of everything else. Last year I made some TN sized planner pages and used those. I’ll be doing the same this year with updated calendars. It’s a freebie on my website that anyone is welcome to grab, but hold off until I’ve update it if you are interested 😄

More "lifestyle" brand stuff. Typical Inked. the gift bags are cute but nothing I would pay international shipping for. Completely agree burgendy is just my most hated color, I will never ever use it in my scraping, 6 years of wearing maroon/burgundy colored schoo uniform. I just despise it

There appears to be some confusion in this thread regarding the planner and journal shown on IG: the regular-sized "book" is the journal, following the same approach as last year's edition. We had discussed this item in depth on the board. It is extremely similar to the Pink Paislee Document December journal which was released a few years ago and is still available from certain online retailers for a lower price than Ali's (in case you're interested). The slim-sized one is an actual December planner, nothing more. It includes vertical planner pages (à la Happy Planner), grocery list pages, cards received/sent pages, gift list pages and small sticker sheets. That's it. It is literally a planner, not an actual DD journal! Hence my proverbial eye roll.

I love the covers on the journal and planner and honestly if I could buy those as albums (without the DD text on them) I'd use them for just about everything. Nothing else is even remotely exciting about these sneaks for me, as other have said, it's just dull.

Side-note: DD darlings, if you have yellow-toned skin like Ali's, stay away from cool-toned nail polishes. You'll end up having dirty-looking fingers as soon as the lighting gives some shadowing/depth. It's the infamous "grey" effect due to the tones clashing. There are plenty of yellow-toned neutral pink-ish tones for the yellow-toned like OPI's gorgeous Samoan Sand.

Ali’s colors do nothing for me either. I don’t dislike the colors, they are fine, but they don’t match what I will be scrapping in December. I prefer cherry red, lime green and some pretty blues. Those gift bags are going to cost an arm and a leg, shall we take guesses on price?
I can’t wait to see what other people come up with, I hope Geralyn does one for FYC.

I don't know. I still kind of like the idea of the 3x8 planner. In my defense, I don't actually do my DD until the following October (putting me on the naughty list), so it might work for me...Price will make my decision. I like the fabric stars and some of the chipboard, but those are just extras, I need to see the kit.

It’s a bit much for me for Christmas. But perhaps she’ll hear the idea and make one for yearly use.

Naughty list-er here. I’m about 1/2 done last years and I do plan to finish my book this fall.
I find the colours look off in those screenshots. We all know Ali likes a crisp white background and it looks like everything has a yellowish tone. I’m hoping that means the burgundy and green are a bit brighter IRL.
That being said I do like the more traditional colour scheme.

Feed Your Craft have revealed a sneak. I am already in love. Those colours! Those date tags! Two kits available, one from Brandi and the other from In A Creative Bubble. Here's the link to the blog, I'd include the photo too, but I'm on my phone trying to put over tired children to bed 😐 shop.feedyourcraft.com/blogs/fyc-shop-blog/festive-and-merry

From the Feed your Craft website:
There will also be three new stamp sets, an add-on paper pack, and Traveler's Notebook covers and inserts. There might be some other items that haven't been listed, but you'll just have to wait and see. In the meantime, mark those calendars for October 7th at 8am EDT for some merry shopping!

I was just coming here to post about this - so excited for both kits, and am glad to see the color pallets (possibly for tinting digitals I plan to print out to coordinate, b/c I am wildly enamoured of the Warhol-Christmas-illustrations vibe I’m getting from the Brandi Kincaid kit!

This will probably be the first year that I don't rush to full my DD supply stash with Ali's products. With three completed albums of almost exclusively AE branded products, I think it's time for me to start working in some fresh supplies. I'm really looking forward to seeing the In A Creative Bubble release. Also hoping that Felicity Jane and Citrus Twist have some sneaks out before the AE release.
