I think the album is butt-ugly. Yes, I don't really like the gold with the grey. Would much prefer silver. I actually really like the gold over silver in scrapbooking (not jewelry, my wedding/engagement rings are white gold--it is more "neutral" to me), but I hate the gold/grey combo she keeps doing. I have pretty much everything I need for DD this year as I got it all last year but will keep an eye out for next year U guess. Am in the market for a new album but don’t like that star one.

I don’t like yellow gold either. I like it sometimes in scrapbooking, but I won’t wear it and I much prefer silver. Rose gold is such a thing right now, I am surprised that they didn’t go that route.

I think the album is interesting. I am going to wait till reveal to see the whole thing before I make a judgement. I do have to say I would have loved a silver bookplate and stars, actually I would love to see copper colored items just for a change.

Ohhh julie5 . I haven't read my email lol. Maybe it's going to be the gift bags, etc? I would think they'd be part of the DD selection period. Makes the most sense (extra incentive to buy because of the early order dates + combined shipping).
December Life. Life... Hmmm... *pensively tucks hand under chin* Right now, that sounds like julie5 's guess for a mini non-Christmas December line. Hannukah was already featured in the digitals last year. For Muslims, the Prophet's Birthday (Milad un Nabi) is end November. But I don't remember seeing any Islamic references in AE's shop before. I doubt there'll be an atheist-themed card set either (Festivuuuuuus).
If it is a more generic + other religion(s)-based line, I expect we'll see no Christmas trees, no Santa. But what would left to expand upon? Just the usual "other" stuff that's also included in DD kits anyway (holiday movies, gift-buying, getting cozy, seeing friends + family, braving the cold)? Anybody want to play Clue(do)? Maybe a card set for the southern hemisphere?
ETA: clearly, I'm being way too optimistic about this December Life offer!  |
