Not sure who this email to Daniel is from...but whoa. Oh..it’s from the idiot himself!? Wait. What? What's going on here and who is the source? I'm so confused because surely not even Trump is stupid enough to put something like that in writing?

The source is Daniel Dale himself. These were sent to him because Trump thought HE leaked the off the record comments Trump made about Canada. Dale did not leak, and subsequently found out that TRUMP HIMSELF ordered a senior WH staff to leak it.
The tweets there are 2 separate emails he got. One from a Trump supporter and one from Trump himself.

Arrogance, DEFINITELY!! Trump's modus operandi (spelling?) throughout his whole career has been to formulate whatever negative info might come out about him, and hit back first, before it does... a la the 'I know you are, but what am I' school of thought. So it doesn't surprise me one iota that they might be putting together a 'hit-him-first' report to try and discredit any potential Mueller findings... that way, when the report DOES come out, all the Trumpeteers will say 'fake news' and won't believe ANY of it. in my opinion, whatever he rails against MOST loudly means "yes, I did that, but... hey-- look over there at THAT horrible thing; that's terrible!" as a deflection.

When you have a guy with known ties to white nationalism, and he uses terms like “articulate” plus any form of the word “monkey” in relation to his black opponent ... please do NOT try to argue he wasn’t using racist, dog-whistle language. On purpose. In plain view. I'm not aware of his ties to white nationalism, that's the first I've heard that and I find nothing on that subject tied to him. He was talking about socialist policies, not the candidate so I disagree it was a some sort of dog whistle. He was a moderator for a racism promoting facebook page linky

He was a moderator for a racism promoting facebook page linkyAt the very least he really chose his words poorly given the political climate these days. At the worst I'm not ready to make any hard and fast decisions on him yet but let's have some more facts from Snopes to add to the confusion. "DeSantis claimed that he was added to the group without his knowledge or consent and that he was not an active member. The latter appears to be the case, as we were unable to find any posts or comments shared in the group by DeSantis. Furthermore, DeSantis’ explanation that he became a member of the group without his knowledge or consent is at least possible — depending on personal and group settings, any member of the “Tea Party” Facebook group could have automatically added DeSantis to the group without his permission: Facebook groups allow anyone with a Facebook account who is a member of the group to arbitrarily add any other Facebook user to a group without asking first as long as that user is on his or her friends list. Whether your addition to a group by someone on your friends list was meant to benefit you or was done maliciously, you aren’t given the opportunity to opt-in. You are in. Once users have been added as member of a group, they can just as easily be made administrators of that group without taking any action on their part." In the Snopes article it shows a screen shot of him as a member that was added by someone else 4 months ago.

As a politician he has a responsibility for what he joins, puts out, says, and how he represents. Being said politician, he and/or his team that covers social media should have been aware and/or caught him being “unwittingly” 🙄 added to a group he now claims to not identify with. These politicians have an image to uphold—one would think that these adults would monitor this kind of stuff. But I digress—my other post on the subject says it all for me—his comments were racist.

"One of the most striking figures to come out of the poll is shift that’s been taking place among college educated white women since early in Trump’s presidency, a constituency that former White House adviser Steve Bannon recently said is “triggered” by Trump. In April of 2017, 40 percent of college educated white women who participated in the ABC / Washington Post poll approved of Trump’s job performance. Fewer than 18 months later, that number has plunged to just 23 percent. And the number of college educated white women who disapprove has skyrocketed to 75 percent, according to the poll — up from 55 percent in April 2017" womenintheworld.com/2018/08/31/new-poll-shows-57-of-women-want-trump-impeached-now/

I agree, his comments were racist. Also, I'd be interested in knowing if he denounced the group. Because let me tell you, if someone attached me to a group like that I would be screaming at the top of my lungs to anyone who would listen that not only did I not join voluntarily, but that I disagreed with everything they espoused. Repeatedly. Did I mention loudly? Just like I would high tail it out of there if I had shown up to the rally in Charlottesville to protest the statues and found myself shoulder to shoulder with Nazis. This is not an issue where you leave even the slightest bit of doubt what your beliefs are.

Phillip Rucker.... “Literally every Washington power player -- Democratic and Republican, past and present -- is at McCain's funeral, except the sitting president, who is tweeting his grievances about the DOJ and FBI.” McCain had very good friends from BOTH parties. He was well respected amongst his peers. I imagine there are many people from all walks of life there.

I was curious why Jared and Ivanka were invited. Maybe he felt that he needed to have a representative from the Trump camp there, and they were the best ones?

I'm surprised he's not golfing. I can't imagine how exhausted the McCain family must be. A "regular" funeral is hard enough - I can't imagine going through one so public and with so many different venues.

More from the ABC Poll... Trump approval rating among black Americans in new ABC/Post poll --> “3% approve 93% disapprove” Didn’t trump say he was winning them over? I believe he did. 😀 Now this is more like what I would expect across the nation.

You have to give trump’s lawyers credit for being so creative. And so stupid. with what they are being paid, you would think they could hire some fact checkers. Facts have never stopped them before, why start now?

I thought what was on tv the other day was the whole thing (I couldn’t watch much the other day since I had to work). Megan McCain did a great job. I would not want to even read anything at my parents funeral, let alone give a speech like that. Are all of the kids going to give a speech? If not, I wonder how the other kids feel about her telling only her own stories and impression of their father, rather than how he was as a father to all of them?
