Trump's track record on offshoring is his Achilles heel. If Democrats want places like Trumbull County, and voters like Troyer and Elliott to pivot back in the upcoming midterms, they're going to have to show working-class voters that they will use the full power of our government to ensure American corporations keep good jobs right here in America. It's clear that working-class voters aren't buying Trump's "Promises Kept" slogan. It's up to the Democrats to declare that they stand ready to pick up where Trump has failed to deliver. Yup... Hopefully sooner now than later.......

From Ryan Lizza on Twitter(don’t know who he is, just saw this on FB) :
“I re-read all the speeches from McCain’s funeral. Nobody attacked Trump. They *praised* honor, decency, character, bipartisanship, and placing country over party. What does it say about Trump that so many people interpreted that as an assault on him personally?”
Maybe someone should mention this to Nunberg.

linkA tale of two Labor Day’s.. EJ Dionne... “#Trump's words won't buy dinner. When #Trump won, his supporters harped on liberals as out of touch with working people. But wages haven't moved, so Trumpies prefer other subjects. Why we don’t we hear about the working class anymore. My #LaborDay column:” & donnie dimwit... “Richard Trumka, the head of the AFL-CIO, represented his union poorly on television this weekend. Some of the things he said were so againt the working men and women of our country, and the success of the U.S. itself, that it is easy to see why unions are doing so poorly. A Dem! Happy Labor Day! Our country is doing better than ever before with unemployment setting record lows. The U.S. has tremendous upside potential as we go about fixing some of the worst Trade Deals ever made by any country in the world. Big progress being made! The Worker in America is doing better than ever before. Celebrate Labor Day!“ This all comes after he cancels the raises for Federal Workers.

I really don't care, but I do remember seeing pictures of her naked. I guess people could check those out for actual before pictures. Good point. I really don't care, either, so am not going to do that research. lol I just noticed that she had the same silhouette with the two similar dresses, so thought it was probably the outfit rather than speculation of a boob job. I just found the difference in those two photos very interesting. Her kidney issues came out of nowhere, so it would be plausible.

I thought that attending a funeral was to show respect for the deceased, and support for their surviving loved ones. Not to worry about the social pecking order. It's a funeral, not a performance, there are no "better" seats. They weren't even supposed to be there ffs!!

There might be seats more conveniently located for speakers or pall bearers. But beyond that....

And this should concern us ALL! What ever the outcome, we should be able to know what it is. The country has the right to know who did nothing wrong and who did not. Giuliani: Trump legal team may try to block Mueller from releasing final reportBY JUSTIN WISE - 09/03/18 01:30 PM EDT President Trump's attorney Rudy Giuliani is claiming that the president's legal team may invoke executive privilege to stop special counsel Robert Mueller's final report on the Russia investigation from being released to the public. Giuliani told The New Yorker that it's likely the Trump administration would object to the memo being made public information. “I’m sure we will,” he said, before adding that Trump would make the final call on a decision like that. Giuliani made the comments in reference to the impending report that Mueller will file to Deputy Attorney General Rod Rosenstein at the conclusion of his investigation into Russian election interference. The New Yorker notes that Rosenstein will then have the ability to release the report to Congress and the public. But Giuliani has signaled that the president may move to stop that from happening — a development that could lead to a battle over whether Rosenstein is allowed to disclose the report. Giuliani told The New Yorker that Trump's original legal counsel struck a deal with the special counsel reserving the White House the right to object to the public disclosure of information covered by executive privilege. He also told the magazine that the Trump team is planning to release a report of its own to refute Mueller's findings. The comments are a part of a larger profile from the magazine on Giuliani's work for the president. It also comes days after Giuliani told the Daily Beast that Trump's legal team is almost finished with a “voluminous” report aimed at discrediting Mueller. “The first half of it is 58 pages, and second half isn't done yet. … It needs an executive summary if it goes over a hundred,” Giuliani told the Beast. Giuliani and Trump have consistently bashed the credibility of Mueller's probe into Russia's election interference and potential collusion between the Kremlin and the 2016 Trump campaign. thehill.com/homenews/administration/404828-giuliani-trumps-legal-team-may-block-mueller-from-releasing-final

My response to this trump tweet “The U.S. is respected again!” was Here is John O Brennan ‘s response for the win! “America is respected when our political leaders make decisions that enhance global peace, security, & prosperity. No amount of bluster, false bravado, & self promotion brings respect. Untold millions wait for American values to run through the veins of those entrusted to lead.” 👍🏻

No amount of bluster, false bravado, & self promotion brings respect. Untold millions wait for American values to run through the veins of those entrusted to lead.” 👍🏻 Much to think about: Respect? With Trump? German diplomat: Trump could push Germany toward Russia, China
BY MICHAEL BURKE - 09/03/18 02:28 PM EDT A former German ambassador to the United States is warning that President Trump's policies could push Germany away from the U.S. and closer toward Russia and China. “The longer Trump remains in office, the harder it will be to stand up to those in this country and elsewhere in Europe who have been arguing since the Vietnam war that we need to cut the cord with America the bully,” Wolfgang Ischinger told Reuters for an interview published Monday. “It would become much harder for the German government to stay the course and defend this relationship,” he added. “And the forces calling for a closer relationship with countries like Russia or China might be emboldened.” Trump, who has threatened to impose tariffs on German cars and has blasted alliances such as the North Atlantic Treaty Organization (NATO) and World Trade Organization (WTO), has had a tense relationship with Germany and Chancellor Angela Merkel during his time in office. In his interview with Reuters, Ischinger also criticized Trump for threatening earlier this summer to go after Germany and others involved in the Nord Stream 2 pipeline project with Russia. "If U.S. sanctions are applied to prevent Nord Stream 2, the repercussions will be poisonous for the transatlantic relationship,” he said. “Even if you have doubts about the wisdom of Nord Stream 2, it is hard not to see this as a serious violation, as an instance of the U.S. forcing its views on the Europeans.”thehill.com/policy/international/404833-german-diplomat-trump-could-push-germany-toward-russia-china

We have Congress to blame for that. They could have renewed the law establishing independent counsels back in 1999 when it expired but they did not. That law stipulated that independent counsel reports be submitted to Congress. Mueller is not an independent counsel; he’s a special counsel appointed under the rules of the Dept of Justice, not Congress. The DOJ rule requires submission of final report to the Atty Gen and it's up to him if he wants to forward it to Congress. Since DOJ is under the Executive branch, Trump likely has power to invoke privilege. But let’s all hold off on the dismay/alarm because if Dems recapture the House in Nov, they have the authority to subpoena any report that’s relevant to an impeachment.

I think it is entirely possible they will agree to go the deny impeachment option because then the report is released to all of Congress not just the committee. This was a good flow chart for those wondering how this is supposed to work. It doesn’t mean that a trump and Giuliani won’t pervert it, but it is a baseline. www.nytimes.com/interactive/2018/05/23/us/politics/trump-mueller-russia.htmlI’m with Mueller, She Wrote in the “put beans on it” camp.
