I want to try a Fall flavor in SOMETHING. I do NOT like regular coffee. I am seeing all of these yummy sounding drinks and want to give one a try, but don't want to spend $3+ on something that will be awful. It would be best if it had whipped cream on it, but that's not a must. I just like the added sweetness to the bitter coffee flavor. Frappe Mocha Espresso Latte Cappuccino Iced something? Frozen something? My favorite Fall flavors are pumpkin spice, salted caramel and mint. I've had the pumpkin spice latte from Starbucks and it's just Okay. Suggestions? Thanks!

Honestly, I LOVE coffee but I cannot drink those fancy drinks from places like Starbucks. They never taste right to me. Chalky, thick, tongue-coating, weird aftertaste, cloyingly sweet AND bitter at the same time, etc.
If I wanted a fancy drink with typical fall flavours, I'd probably go for something iced or frozen.
I do LOVE LOVE LOVE real cappuccino or espresso from real coffee places, though.

Starbucks is good about letting you sample if they have some leftovers of a cold blended drink. But you might have to hang out awhile, waiting for someone to order it. There's a SB in my grocery store and they often mix up a small new beverage and then put it out as samples. Also, ask the barista for some ideas. They are usually very helpful.

Starbucks has a drink size Short which is 8oz. Hot drinks only in that size. I'm thinking they might have something even smaller now, I saw a tiny representation of a cup in the window of the Starbucks at Target, so you might check, maybe they have a 6oz. size that would be good for your purposes.
Do you like chocolate to go with the mint that you like? Tell them you want a mocha mint or a mocha coffee with mint added or whatever.
All the drinks you listed start with an espresso base, if you don't like coffee flavor you won't want a straight espresso.
A latte is espresso with steamed milk in it and a bit of steamed milk froth on top, so take that off your list. A cappuccino is the same thing only with different amounts of milk. Take that off your list.
Also, Starbucks is pretty well known for just their hot chocolate. It is supposed to be quite good. It comes standard with whipped cream on top.
They do make drinks to order, if it's not on the menu, tell them what you want and they will do it.

Salted caramel frappacino (I'm sure that's spelled all wrong!!) if you like sweet and salty. Plus it has whip on top! I'm not usually a fan of something that sweet, but I do look forward to this one and enjoy it in the fall. Not a pumpkin lover (I know, I'm like the only one on the plant not to like pumpkin spice anything!) so I can't help with that.

VERY tasty with flavors added. The drinks I am referring to are not all from SB, so I have no idea how they would be quality wise.

If you don't like regular coffee, I'd start trying out the chai drinks. They're yummy, warm, and have some great flavors. I personally don't like anything super sweet and most chai's are too sweet (& have too many sugar grams) for me but I enjoyed the Oprah one. It was more spicy than sweet. If you do try a hot coffee drink, get it with breve' instead of milk or whip. It will change your life

I think if you don't like coffee, you're not going to like any espresso's, or cappuccinos..You might like a latte, as it's steamed milk, more like a hot choc. I can't drink the coffee's at Starbucks or caribou, they are just too strong for me. I usually get a white choc hot chocolate.

I don't like coffee either and after moving to Seattle I felt I had to at least try to like it, but gave up. I do like that I can go to Starbucks and order anything w/o the coffee. So...I'd recommend a vanilla steamer, or once the eggnog comes, try out one of those. Plus you can get the steamers (it's just milk) in a non-fat version. I was kind of meh on the pumpkin spice as well.
On the other hand, I love the pumpkin drink from Jamba juice that is probably out at any time as well.

It's all according to your preferences. My daughter likes the pumpkin latte from Starbucks, but not the pumpkin-flavored coffees one can buy to make at home. I like a skim mocha from Starbucks. It's got a chocolatey/coffee flavor.

My kids don't care for coffee flavor, so they have ordered Starbucks Frappuccinos without espresso. My DD especially likes the Caramel Ribbon Frap without espresso. I bet you could get a Pumpkin Spice Frappuccino made that way.
My personal favorite at Starbucks is a white chocolate mocha with caramel added. It's definitely sweet and comes with whipped cream - isn't very coffee-flavored. You could try a grande size made with only one shot of espresso instead of two.
Lastly, if you want to try some coffee drinks without SB prices, McDonald's drinks are quite good and are a bit cheaper.

I'm not a coffee fan either. But I like frappacinos fine. They are more milk than coffee and they are sweet. I like Starbuck's caramel frappucino.

Well, I love coffee, so I'm happy with almost anything. For a fall frou-frou coffee, I am happy with the pumpkin spice latte, so can't help you there!
My dd's favourite one that comes out for Christmas season is the peppermint white chocolate latte. I've had a couple of those and they are pretty darned good!

I love coffee and must have creamer in my coffee.. I usually make my own coffee and drink it over ice.
If I do go to a coffee shop there are 3 here that I go to..
Starbucks. I get a Vanilla Bean Crème Frappuccino® Blended Crèmewith a shot of coffee. If I get the largest size I get 2 shots of coffee. I it like drinking a vanilla milk shake.
Human bean. I get the vanilla smoothie with a shot of coffee. some times I get this one without the coffee.
Dutch Brothers. I get a vanilla almond milk iced latte. I usually don't go here very often I like the other 2 places better.
My daughter like the caramel hazelnut vanilla drinks. basically they are the drinks i drink add the caramel and hazelnut

McDonald's drinks are quite good and are a bit cheaper. To each her own, but I think McDonald's iced coffee drinks just taste toxic. Not just that I didn't like it but drank it all anyhow-- we actually dumped two of them because neither of us liked it. I felt like there was a chemical residue on my tongue afterwards, and I would rather die of dehydration before I ever tried another one of their iced coffee drinks, that's how much I would NOT recommend McD's. Kiki, I usually get vanilla lattes, but SO likes to have an iced white chocolate mocha. We usually get venti, which gets 3 shots of espresso when iced, so he orders it with two shots instead. Cuts down on the bitterness. If you just want a grande, order it with one shot instead of two. He used to just drink chai because, like you, he doesn't like the coffee taste. I don't recall how it is that he even tried a white mocha-- must have been samples or something. For a non-coffee drink, I like an iced green tea latte or green tea latte frappuccino (that will have whipped cream). Tasty when you get past the green color. (It's very, very green.) You can also get a chai latte or chai frappuccino, which will have a little more of a fall taste since it has all those spices.

Love caramel frappes IMO starbucks makes the best and really mcdinalds aren't bad either! Don't like mcdinalds iced coffee though.
I would start off with a vanilla latte. Also don't make it fat free or nonfat, try the full fledge version and go from there.

I love both salted caramel fraps and as a hot drink.
I love to go to my non chain coffee shops. They really know how to make super delicious coffees and always have delicious local treats as well.

I am not a PSL fan, so I opt for the salted caramel mocha. I am drinking them iced right now because it so hot here. My favorite of the holiday drinks is the eggnog latte.
I usually drink iced coffee though.

This is not for fall, it is for Christmas time. But it is by far my favorite thing to get when I get coffee out. White chocolate peppermint mocha. Tastes just like Christmas.

Peppermint mocha.
I get mine with skim milk and whip cream. Go figure.
(It's only listed at Starbucks at Christmas time, but you can always ask for it.)

I prefer sweet drinks. I can not drink coffee just black. I tried a iced coffee with vanilla, and what I was expecting was not what I got. I could not drink it. I actually had to make a stop at Wal-Mart to get some coffee creamer to dump in it! For fall, I like the salted carmel mochas. I also just like mochas. The sweeter, the better for me!
