Is there some comparison I’m suppose to see here that I’m not? If it is, I’m seeing the comparison between a tragic hunting accident and a chain of events that led an 11 year old boy to kill his grandmother then take his own life. Just another irresponsible gun owner that’s all. Different levels of tragedy to be sure.

Such stoopid ridiculousness... GOP insists it was Hillary who rigged the election..they've said it all along, including the orange idiot. Who the fuck rigs an election to LOSE. The stupid of these people astounds me 🤪🤪🤪🙄 This response made me chuckle though. Bryan @bharvey67 · 9h Diabolical, I tell you. All while running a childs prison inside a Pizza sex shop, and mining Uranium in Uzbekistan...all in the same day, mind you. How did she have the time to plot with Russia AND get my pizza to my door in 30 minutes or less? LOL! And they say Hillary is low-energy. As Bill Maher said, while Trump was mean-girl tweeting, Hill was killing Osama bin Laden.

Well if we stop paying for his golf trips, and military at the border, there will be plenty of money for investigations, and veterans, and social security, medicare/medicaid, infrastructure........you know the average american concerns

Wtf is going on during this live trump speech 1130est ?!?! Weird af I just started listening and he's rambling-- I don't think he's said an entire sentence or spoken a coherent thought since I've started listening. He's making it sound like the Dems controlling the House will make things work BETTER, though, I think-- which is stupid, but I guess that's his CYA for the House loss... ??

Why the hell does he speak in such vague terms always?
And I'm pretty sure that he just said that if there are investigations against him, that they won't be able to push through any other legislation to benefit the country.

His 'pat my back' recap of the elections? What an idiot! He is trying to lay the grounds for not being able to get anything done in the past (with both houses);
Now he wants bipartisanship with the Dems, but the repubs have not even allowed the Dems a seat at the table for two years.
Now he want to work on healthcare and infrastructure with the Dems. But due to his tax cuts there is no money for infrastructure.
This man has clouded the issues so much and his sheeples just follow blindly.
He is a 'miracle' maker (but i reality, he is just riding the coattails of of what Obama ut in place.
He wants clean air and clean water. Beautiful clean air and water, but has reverted all environmental protections.
He is such a lying asshole.

So I guess trump is flapping his gums.
Paul Waldman...
“Trump is actually reading a list of Republicans who lost and saying they're all losers for not being more slavishly devoted to him.
Classy as always.”

all the sudden, he's HAPPY to be bipartisan, Nancy Pelosi is a wonderful person, everything will be better, and crystal-clean water and perfectly-clean air is soooo, soooo important to him... what a weasel.
(and I cannot STAND his nasally breathing!!!)
ETA: what the hell?? he just said Dems agree that a wall is necessary and that a border fence is 'essentially' the same thing as a wall. "They've said we need a wall; they sound like me." uhhh- NO.

George Takei...
“Trump asserts there is “investigation fatigue” from the Mueller probe.
Actually, no. It’s only Trump and his cronies who are exhausted— from having to constantly lie and hide and obstruct and ultimately plead guilty.
Us? We’re good. Pass the popcorn.”

his tax returns are 'so complicated' and 'you wouldn't understand' any of it. I'm pretty sure they can find some experts who can figure it out.

Dan Pfeiffer...
“It's hard to take Trump seriously about bipartisanship when he threatened to use the Senate to launch vindictive counter investigations into Democrats three minutes prior”
He lies.

It’s like a fake fortune teller - if they are vague enough you can’t hold them to it.

My takeaway from last night is...
* Ted Cruz is just really bad at what he does and I really thought the people of Texas would want something better then what Cruz brought to the table. But I guess party won out over getting something better.
*Phillipe Reines... “GOP Congressmen @devinnunes @jim_Jordan @repchriscollins & @rep_Hunter let me introduce you to the incoming House Ethics Committee Chairman, Democrat @teddeutch.
Rep. Deutsch, meet ethics-impaired Reps Nunes, Jordan, Collins & Hunter.
We’ll leave you to get to know each other.”
How Nunes got re-elected is mind blogging as he was more interested in covering trump’s ass then taking care of the people in his district.
Jim Jordan knew those boys were being sexual abused yet he did nothing. Not only was he re-elected, he wants to run for minority leader of the House.
The other two were indicted, not just being investigated, but indicted for crimes and both were re-elected.
None of these men should have been re-elected.
* In Florida, if the votes hold up, they elected themselves a racist as governor.
* In Georgia ,if the votes hold up, they elected themselves a person who has no winning message so he cheats with voter suppression as governor.
* In Arizona, if the votes hold up, they elected someone as senator who flat out lied about an issue the majority of Americans said was important to them. So I guess healthcare isn’t important to the folks of Arizona.

You're right about Texas. The state is full of party loyal Republican voters. There are an awful lot of Democrats, Independents, and people who go into elections open to any good candidate though. But the majority does seem to be party loyal Republicans.
And a lot of them treat it like a sports rivalry or something. It's not about which candidate will do the best job, but making sure their "team" wins. Last night you'd have thought it was a high school football small town rivalry grudge match going on the way a lot of people were posting on social media.
But I was really pleasantly surprised at how many people were out pushing for different and better. Especially where I live. Lots of people moving here for jobs from other parts of the country, and some of them asserting themselves against the good old boy establishment.
