And nothing at all about the thousands of jobs GM is cutting because of his steel tariffs. Merry Christmas, Michigan and Ohio! How about the huge tax cuts to corporations? “GM sees these benefits as being beneficial not only to its bottom line, but also the automotive industry as a whole.” Projected earnings for GM were at $145 BILLION. Ohio has 18 electoral votes. Michigan has 16. Trump told Ohioans not to sell their houses because manufacturing jobs are coming back. Let’s see if they remember this come 2020. No they won’t remember shit. I already see the supporters saying, “couple of layoffs” does not define the President and his plan. Couple of layoffs? Wtf?

trump.. “The large and violent French protests don’t take into account how badly the United States has been treated on Trade by the European Union or on fair and reasonable payments for our GREAT military protection. Both of these topics must be remedied soon” So what does one have to do with the other? And when is the little coward going to visit “our GREAT military” people in the Middle East? President Obama took office in January 2009 and made his first visit to Iraq in April in 2009. To this day he still does not understand how the UN forces work. Better we act as part of the UN off/away from US properties then to fight here. If he actually had any understanding of any of that he would have been at that American cemetery if he had had to walk.

From AOL... I especially liked his insight that they "better put something else" and to "get a car that is selling well." Yeah.
WASHINGTON, Nov 26 (Reuters) - U.S. President Donald Trump told the Wall Street Journal on Monday that General Motors Co should stop making cars in China and make them in the United States instead.
GM said on Monday it would cut thousands from its North American workforce, slash production and eliminate some slow-selling car models.
Trump told reporters he was not happy with GM's decision to idle a plant in Lordstown, Ohio and that GM had "better put something else" in Ohio.
He said he told GM Chief Executive Mary Barra he was unhappy with the announcement. She told him the decision to halt sales of the Chevrolet Cruze had "nothing to do with tariffs" but was because of poor sales. "Get a car that is selling well and put it back in," Trump said.

He's dreaming if he thinks that's going to solve the problem of how he is portrayed in other countries. We have our own reporters and our own big news networks and primarily that's who we get our news from.
As most people already know, the reporters & how they report aren't the issue. The issue is the giant orange toddler who is in way over his head.

This will never end................. Kushner pushed Trump administration officials to inflate value of Saudi arms deal: report BY ELLEN MITCHELL - 11/26/18 03:15 PM EST President Trump’s adviser and son-in-law, Jared Kushner, directed administration officials to inflate numbers for a supposed $110 billion arms deal with Saudi Arabia, ABC News reported on Monday. Two U.S. officials and three former White House officials told the network that Kushner pressed the State and Defense departments to pump up the number to $110 billion by including aspirational arms sales.
Saudi Arabia so far has only signed “Letters of Offer and Acceptance” (LOAs) for $14.5 billion in sales of helicopters, tanks, ships, weapons and training, according to the Pentagon. That figure was reportedly inflated, however, to attempt to solidify the new alliance between the Trump administration and Saudi Arabia and paint a clear victory for the president’s first foreign trip last year. ** More at link: thehill.com/policy/defense/418290-kushner-pushed-trump-administration-officials-to-inflate-value-of-saudi-arms

“Reuters: U.S. SPECIAL COUNSEL MUELLER'S OFFICE SAYS FORMER TRUMP CAMPAIGN CHAIRMAN MANAFORT LIED TO FBI AND SPECIAL COUNSEL IN BREACH OF PLEA AGREEMENT -COURT FILING”
Manafort really is dumb. The idea that someone thinks Mueller and Company can’t confirm what they being told really is kind of stupid.. Or maybe he is like trump and just doesn’t know what the truth is anymore.

I agree, and the best thing you can do so the Democrats have a solid chance of winning the White House is to sit this one out and take up knitting.

Even if Trump pardons Manafort (which I doubt Trump will do because it doesn’t help him anymore), Manafort will still go to jail.

I think they’ve seen a standing pattern of no consequences with this administration and fully expect full pardons.

We'll finally get something to read! So, let me see if I understood this blogger correctly. Manafort has been lying in his answers to Mueller's questions (which we already know because Mueller said so). Manafort then feeds these answers to Trump who then uses the same answers for his questionnaire. (It might be possible because Giuliani has a joint defense agreement with Manafort's lawyers.) That's why Mueller filed a motion to delay Manafort's sentencing in anticipation of Trump's answers. Gets the answers from Trump, they match what Manafort says. Hmmm...maybe. What do you think?

After imposing tariffs that would harm farmers: “We’ll make it up to them,” Trump told reporters ahead of a meeting with his Cabinet. “The farmers will be better off than they ever were. It will take a little while to get there, but it could be very quick, actually." Trump said the Midwestern growers are “great patriots” who "understand that they're doing this for the country.”
Farm bankruptcies on the rise in Upper Midwest A new analysis from the Federal Reserve Bank of Minneapolis shows 84 farms filed for bankruptcy in Wisconsin, Minnesota, North Dakota, South Dakota and Montana in the 12 months that ended in June. That’s more than double the number over the same period in 2013 and 2014. The Star Tribune reports the increase in Chapter 12 filings reflect low prices for corn, soybeans, milk and beef. The situation has gotten worse for farmers since June because of the retaliatory tariffs that have closed the Chinese market for soybeans and held back exports of milk and beef. Chapter 12 bankruptcy allows for repayment of debt over three years. Minneapolis Fed analyst Ron Wirtz says the bankruptcy trend has not yet peaked.

This further takes us from family farms to corporate farms that may care more about profits than quality and safety of our food. Furthermore, it gives those corporate farms the potential for bigger profits when the food supply goes down.

I can understand people who may regret their votes and not admit they may have made a mistake because, really, who wants to do that? Btw, you're in Wisconsin, right? Papadopoulos began serving his 14-day sentence at Oxford. I saw a picture of the federal prison camp there. It really looks just like a sprawling club with trees all around. I don't know why he wanted to delay his term because this place almost looks like a retreat. Is it that nice in real life?
