Good morning! KikiPea - I love your use of the new Vicki line. I haven't dug into mine yet. All the layering/clustering and the photo too is very cool. LisaDV - adore your banner. Such a fun celebratory layout without being childish, it's really really good! joyfulnana - love the vertical lines of owls and navy polkadots, it creates perfect flow through the pictures and clean lines! cristelina - "it's a story"...now I'm singing...I love this on so many levels. marie - your outdoors photos have been an inspiration all weekend. Classic clean layouts, great use of pps. Amazing productivity! teacherlisa - Great use of different boxes to create a well balanced clean layout. Love the green. gmcwife1 - I am especially drawn to your layouts because of it's subject But your colour use is inspired - the orangey ball echoed in the embellies/title is what makes the page so easy to look at. gramma - so. dang. cute. Wish I had littles to use fun cutting files like that! Maybe one day I'll be a Nana sleepingbooty - Incroyable. The crop layout is amazing, I can't even. I did easily read the french on it, but my brain needs more coffee to concentrate on the journaling on "you and me" One of my top 5 "bucket list" items is to get stronger in French. I love that I had the introduction as a kid, but am sad that Canada doesn't do more to make it's citizens bilingual. Europe does such an amazing job of producing multi-linguists. Well, OK, just about every place in the world does a better job than North America!!!

My final 2 for the crop. I'm sad I didn't have more time to play because I felt the vibe/energy from the crop and think I couldn't have been really productive!!! This one, quick layout using old old supplies (studio calico kit; PL cards). My kids aren't wearing the hats - the hats are behind glass at a museum. layout hat sillies by kirstendrew, on Flickr This one, newest supplies I got this week, photoplay "freebird". I picked the line to use because of the colours, and THEN I found the eye paper and stickers. Weird coincidence or meant to be? layout sneak peek by kirstendrew, on Flickr

kitbop - what fun 'hat' photos and your layout continues the fun with the colours and embellishments! The eye paper is perfect - isn't it great when that happens? hop2 - well, no wonder it was the perfect background great idea using a photo like that!

I finished my DC pages, at least 6 layouts for the weekend and journaling on some other miscellaneous pages. Thanks again for hosting, sleepingbooty. It was fun hanging out with you all! We'll have to do it again sometime. Oh wait, none of us are going anywhere. Let's keep hanging out...

Leaving some love where I left it last time (page 13).
grammadee Oh my, 'Truly Thirteen' is so much awesomeness packed into a LO. I love the white touches on top of the brightly coloured papers and that star burst paper works so great for birthday celebrations as you keep proving! Really appreciate how the pink and purple left side meets the pink and purple part of the burst wheel page: it helps the eye travel and really enhances the overall flow. That three-parter on the left is genius: I love how you get to see her excitement over turning 13 and seeing the balloons! 👌 'Part Unicorn' is pure cotton candy magic. You did such a great job painting your own rainbow popping out of the picture. I also love that you did some art of your own on a LO about painting. So meta (just the kind of little winks I love)! Love the paper tear edges that bring some lightness and texture to the right side. 'Foot Art' is just making me smile altogether: from the super fun footsy art project captured to all the little St. Patrick's Day touches you added. I'm in awe of your dot theme: hollowed out at the bottom (scalloped edge + adorable toadstool wood veneer) versus 3D and popping out at the top with the Nuvo (and enamel?). Genius! Also, gah, the final result from the foot painting is too cute for words. 😍
marie You are really rocking these camp pages! The 'Pool' page is so beautiful and extra endearing to me since I love that Carta Bella collection. I love how you recreated the pool with paper on your LO. The brightly coloured mats add such a perfect pop of visual entertainment to the page. And that border strip with the lounge chairs at the bottom is the perfect finishing touch to ground it all. Your 'Archery' project (double page LO?) is so engaging. You did great reflecting the movement of the sport with all the arrow elements you added to the pages. Great use of complementary colours with the red and blue theme. Your cluster with the tree pattern paper and target practice flair is super well done: I love that it finishes on a pointy element right in the middle (scalloped "Adventure" label) to mimick an arrowhead! 🏹 I see what you did there... 😉
msliz Hey, how was the hike? Did you take some photos to scrap?
jennyap Gah, your title construction for 'Barra Beach Landing' is giving me life! Those slim glitter Thickers are gorgeous and work so well when contrasted with a rounded, "fat" font. Really well done. I love all your photo sizing work and mosaic construction on this LO. Can hardly believe you don't scrapbook on the regular these days (because I really, really couldn't tell when looking at your pages). You get extra kudos from me because I love some heavy journaling... 😘
@millefeuilles Ugh, gurl, BUH-BEAUTIFUL! *chef's kiss* What a gorgeous page. I'm crushing hard on your soft colour palette and the large photo. Great perspective for that portrait, by the way. I dig the reversed tone for the face vs flower design element of your page: so simple but so effective. Very dainty and aww-inducing overall. Superbe travail, copine de moi. 💖
hop2 Love how you embraced the dark clouds for your 'Cape May' visit and used grey as a grounding colour for your photos on this LO. The photo looks really small on my screen so I can't comment on the details but it looks beautiful and classy from what I can see. That grid pattern paper with all the straight angles is such a good contrast to the photos with the lowered perspective of the lighthouse in the main picture. 👍
thracian Go you! Five LOs is a great accomplishment. And oh my, I love that you used our daily themes for inspiration. *smiles behind laptop screen* 'Silver Lining' is so soft and pretty for such a strong beast of a car. Absolutely adore this kind of contrast! I can just imagine the "horse" in the flowery field... You picked beautiful floral paper and embellishments, by the way. My heart did a little jump wen I saw them. 🌸 Oh my, the photos of you on 'Yummy Darling' are perfection. How fun ( and funny)! Incredible use of shapes on this page: vertical strips, horizontal rectangles and round donuts. Such a visually engaging end result. I also love the stitched lines running through that hot pink paper for extra texture and some contrast. 🤩 'If he fits, he sits' is "seriously" (tee hee) adorable. Your pooch hitching a ride in the car seat is super funny. I love that you documented this moment. Great extraction of colours and that wood pattern to expand on the scene in your LO. That Project Life card has been worked into your project so well: it just melts in there and I wouldn't have guessed it was there had you not pointed it out. 'So Many Crazy Leggings' is so appealing to the eye: what a stunning monochromatic composition (all the way down to the ink used for the date stamp #suchattentiontodetails)! That artsy paint pattern paper is making me want to grab it through my screen. Love how you brought in gold splatters and some foil to break it all up. Now, what's the story behind these crazy leggings? ❔ I must know!

So I completely missed out on the fun on this thread... we traveled immediately after work Friday and then got back Sunday afternoon. I considered joining in at that point but I was so tired and had to do laundry, unpack, make dinner, etc. Now I'm feeling very in need of some scrappy time! I hope we have another crop weekend like this soon so I can participate, I loved seeing how active this thread was... I was just so disappointed I couldn't keep up!

Commenting on page 14. 😊
justlisa7 Did you manage to finish the LO you were still working on yesterday? Also, don't worry about how many pages you completed: this crop was meant to be fun, engaging and a way to get something done, that's all. Embrace your pace, I say. ✌️
KikiPea Your 'You Are My Sunshine' page is beautiful! Such a fun composition. Very graphic and energetic. I love the texture play with the super shiny letters spelling out "you make me happy" and the distressed/vintage effect of the wordy paper behind the lovely bird embellishment. Digging all the pops of colour you wove into this LO. What a gorgeous photo of the art walk you documented, by the way! 😍 I'm so glad you participated (and I hope you'll silence your inner critic: no need to count how many pages or projects you finished, just focus on what you did and take it as a positive)
Elsabelle Aww, I'm happy you got to see this birth live. How is the baby giraffe doing? 🦒 Do you know when the zoo will name him/her? Like you, I couldn't believe it was Sunday evening already and the crop was coming to an end. Time flew by! Did you find the solution to your Disney food dilemma? I still have the Valentine Day cookie from Disneyland Paris my SO and I shared back in February to document... (Managed to smudge the fondant with my thumb print just before snapping the photo, because of course! 🤦♀️)
LisaDV Oh, I love your 'Birthday Escape Room' LO! What a fun way to celebrate as a family. You all look happy in the photos. You did great bringing in some "girly" pink tones to these dark grey-themed photos to add some festive cheer to your project. That paper rosette banner is beautiful (makes me want to make one myself!). The washi strips to "hold" the photos together is such a great touch. Elegant yet playful. Great job! 👌 (and happy super belated birthday 🎉)
joyfulnana Woohoo, you crossed everything off your crop list! 💯 Your owly LO is so much adorable squished into one project. Absolutely love the super cute photos (especially the one in which Rudy is kissing his cuddly toy) and all the outdoors-themed touches you added for this grill event. Those little owls are trying their hardest at being the most memorable thing on the page but I think your grandson's got this! 😉 How wonderful that you took the time to journal the father-son parallel out. I bet Rudy will love reading about this when he grows up. 'Being Gemini' is just oh-so elegant. Those night sky touches are dreamy. I love that you cut up strips about your Gemini personality traits. And you look so beautiful and happy in that photo! ♊✨
cristelina That is such a great cover your autobiographical book! Love the underlining of the title with the scalloped borders and round gems for a little whimsy. Those glitter alpha Thickers are my very favourite ever (and I'm so sad I ran out of them). Great choice (I'm obviously a little biased 😀). The extra bit of gold splatter is the perfect finishing touch!
I need to go help prepare dinner now but I'll be back later tonight for some more snooping around 🔎 + commenting!

Since I mentioned the glass block project several times in this thread, I thought you might want to see what we were doing. 6x6 glass blocks - 651 Oracal vinyl cut and placed on the outside - velum cut to 4.5 inches and put on the inside - battery operated fairy lights placed inside - the back has another piece of velum with a team picture glued on it. This is the 4th year we've done these. About half way through I wonder how the heck I got roped in again - but the result always makes me smile. 54402670_2435430616488051_8015268178248597504_o by CLAUDIA LOVELESS, on Flickr

Can anyone help me with Instagram please? What are the best settings to post a layout? Mine looks all blurry. I use the app snapseed to edit my photos before posting, I usually adjust the white balance, brightness and contrast and sometimes sharpen, plus crop to a square. On instagram I just post the photo as I edited it in the other app, I don't use any of their filters or editing tools. It is difficult to get good photos of layouts, it's best if you can take the photo in daylight using indirect sunlight instead of artificial light.

Ack! I won't be home to take photos of my pages until after dark, and we all know how well those come out . . I did finish another double page layout last night. That is a total of 4 double page layouts with 2 duplicated for each son's album. So overall I feel like I made some progress! I am trying to do a page a day for the month of March and I am almost on target. Just don't have photos to share yet.

sleepingbooty, she had a healthy baby boy. I don't know anything about possible names or when he will be named, though. It was delightful to see him take his first few wobbly steps. So sweet. I did come up with something for the layout. I'm happy with how it's turning out. Please share your cookie layout if you are able. We are crazy about all the Disney foods and would love to see anything DP.

gramma great 2 pagers! Those cut files are darling! gmcwife1 love your grid layouts! Your pup looks like he's having lots of fun! sleepingbooty love the design of your Mosaic crop layout! Great job journaling! That's a weak spot for me linda I have one year left to scrapbook and then this camp album is done. I sent him with a disposable camera each year and there was a staff person taking photos that we could purchase. But some years the photos were a lot better than other years. Lol kitbop love in the layering and vertical elements! And great job finding a way to use a mustache embellishment!

Now that the crop is over, I want to go back and really get a look at all the lovely work! I got 6 pages finished which is HUGE for me. I never get 6 done in a month let alone a weekend! The comaradery and the vibe was so inspiring and my mojo is feeling huge! Thank you again sleepingbooty for setting this up and all the work you put into it. It was a very special weekend. I'm working my way backwards - so page 15 (15!) kitbop I always love your pages and your style. Beautiful ones as always! There's love in the gallery as well. gramma those glass blocks are making me smile too, they sound like a bit of work, but worth it! PAGE 14 - sleepingbooty I love your use of white space and the clean lines of your pages. Your pancakes look delicious to me! So cool that you've already scrapped the crop! I intend to scrap it as well. Love all the circles, especially the ones in the negative spaces. Great colors as well! gmcwife1 - your dog is just beautiful! Love his outfit and I really like seeing the pocket pages and how you embellish them. I am always lost trying to do physical PL pages. Great job! gramma these pages are so cute! I left love in the gallery. teacherlisa I LOVE the green shade you chose. That's one of my favorite shades of green and the photos are such a nice contrast. Love that title! hop2 using the photo of the stairs as the background is so cool looking! It doesn't look like you missed a beat after not scrapping for so long. marie I love the nature photos. And I seriously love the colors and papers you used. Your DS looks like he had a great time - well, until he looked done lol. I like that you made mention of that. cristelina those little houses are seriously cute! I learned to read with those books too, and I am not a numbers person either lol. I love the way you used the Christmas cards to help tell the stories and all the glittery glitter! Perfect title page too! LisaDV gorgeous! I love the bright colors! I'm so glad you had a few days to yourself to scrap! KikiPea What a fun page! It's beautiful! I'm going to stop here for tonight so I can go scrap for a bit this evening while my mojo is still high. And before I lose this long post!

angel97701 - wow, I'm impressed you got so many unique 2-pagers done! They are always challenging IMO, getting a good arrangement with photos, finding elements to draw the eyes through the page, stretching paper across if you don't have 2 sheets... these are excellent! My fave is "we love snow" because the photos are so beautiful, but all of them came out great.

I am horrible about participating in online crops. But I would like to share what I created this afternoon. I have been watching the storage videos from Love RTS on YouTube and sometimes the poster brings out a tool I haven't used in ages. I also love YouTuber Lisa Fonseco, and I combined ideas from them both into creating a double pager that also used up a paper line of LYB from 2009. This set of pictures was from a Segway tour we took in December in Florida. We had a blast and my son kept trying to knock me off of my Segway. We both turn into 4 year olds when we are together.

Good job using that LYB pp. I have a lot of it hoarded and love to pull it out for special occasions.

Happy Mail in my mailbox today from France! Thank you sleepingbooty for the crop card and for the cute papers. You sent a card that will be perfect for one of my pages: it reads, keep calm et profite de la vie (and enjoy life) and I plan to use it on a page about DD's recent trip to Quebec. But, if I'm honest, I might just love the French Mickey Mouse postage stamp most of all Thanks again for a really fun weekend!

And that I happened to pick out the right little card for you.
I tried to remember who was a Disney lover on here when sticking down the stamps (some of the crop participants will get a pretty Unesco stamp instead). But I knew you'd like Mickey!
