As our trip's becoming more and more real after booking the hotel ($$$ yikes!) I've found I like writing things out more than using spreadsheets and Word so the other night I went searching for a cute notebook to trip plan in.. This fell into my cart and showed up today. Should I have spent $15 on a notebook? idk probably not.. but it is AWFULLY cute and came in a shiny pink bubble mailer that I'll definitely reuse for something lol

I could never write stuff down. I have a google doc. I make changes so much I'd have the world's messiest notebook. Do you guys disneybound? My daughter and I are going all out this trip. We have matching Minnie Mouse outfits, one day she will be Briar Rose and I will be working Cinderella, for Star Wars she is Leia and I am Rey. So excited. I spent hours stitching a scarf to this hoodie I bought for my Rey costume for nothing. I could have just as easily done it in 5 minutes with a different stitch. It makes no difference. But I feel super fierce in the get up.

Do you guys disneybound? My daughter and I are going all out this trip. Watching Shimelle has made me very sad I don't wear more than t-shirts and jeans/leggings. She's killing it. I bet you and your daughter will look amazing! I'm betting if I told my DD10, she'd go all out, she practically comes up with a theme every day for her outfits. I should've gone that route! This thing is bigger than I anticipated lol One year I used a TN insert and then I doubled it as my note taker for the actual trip. After our day, or on a break, I'd jot down things I didn't want to forget and then use it as a place to keep receipts and ephemera for scrapping later. Our first year going, I even printed out sheets for the kids to fill out each day. I'm not sure what route I'll go this time. I think I'm a little more lax because I just want to be able to go... not knowing is almost as bad as not planning at all.

I’m planning a trip with my daughter and my oldest son for early June. We’re working on it. So far my daughter will be Pooh one day, while my 20yo son (and Pooh super fan) is Christopher Robin. I’m not sure who I’ll be yet, but probably Piglet because I think pink will look best color wise in the photos as a group. I will definitely be a wilderness explorer one day. Daughter will be Jack Skellington. Son is pondering Indiana Jones. Will be at DLR three days.

I don't go bounding but I have a closet of Disney themed dresses I wear. I'd love to see them. There was an orangebird one a couple of years ago that I was on the fence about. Now I can't stop thinking about it. Hmmm.. maybe I'll go to ebay. I'm betting if I told my DD10, she'd go all out, she practically comes up with a theme every day for her outfits. We've had so much fun. My daughter loves that I have started to dress up to. At first it was just her. We’re working on it. I’m not sure who I’ll be yet, but probably Piglet because I think pink will look best color wise in the photos as a group. Sounds so cute. This was the theme of the disney bound instagram yesterday or the day before and there were some adorable outfits. A good friend of mine is staying there the beginning of April for her 50th birthday! I told her to share pictures... cause I almost had a heart attack at the cost LOL! It's so expensive. I honestly would splurge for one night but I would not want to do all that role play.

Thank you for posting! All of those outfits are so fun! Thanks! It's been fun. I wish you could see that my red bag in the first photo is an apple! Next time I'm going as Orangebird. I do not know when next time will be but I already know what I'm going to do for my outfit (if I can find orange clothing).

And Orange Bird is my favorite too. And, of course, Figment (child of the '80s that I am). I have an original orange bird figurine from FL, before Disney took him. My dad bought it for me on a business trip to Tallahassee. I've been obsessed since then. How would you dress like Figment, aside from all purple? I'm looking for an orange bird purse. I hope I can find one when I'm down there. The merch for flower and garden is so good this year. I'm probably going to drop a lot of cash. I mean, what 47 year old does not need cut off sweatpants with orange bird on them for a ridiculous price?

I had to google what Disneybounding was. Our DD and her DH have done it, but I didn’t realize it had a name. They had the cutest Minnie & Mickey outfits, perhaps a little too good.
When we went in 2017, a kid really wanted a pin on our son-in-law’s lanyard. DSIL refused. The boy kept insisting that he HAD to trade the pin, and it finally came out that the kid thought DSIL was an employee because his outfit was so good. None of the employees were dressed like DSIL, but it was a really fun Mickey inspired outfit.

You could add an orange kercheif tied in a knot on top to your hair to give the illusion of horns. Like.Rosie the Riveter wore. Maybe some design on the back of your top for wings? You definitely need touches of yellow and.orange, maybe yellow lens sun glasses? I think woman get to wear all the ridiculous clothes they want! Says the woman wearing a Lil Sebastian shirt with mismatched Jack Skellington socks and plaid pajama bottoms. (The pajamas are because I am on spring break and.today is cleaning and purging day). The socks are an everyday occurrence however. I would love some Orange Bird britches, those sound adorable!!! I hate that they typically only have OB stuff when it is too hot in Florida for me to visit! Why can't they celebrate OB in October or December???

How would you scrap these? I’m doing 9x12 and want a 2-page spread. I have a few different Alice papers I really want to use. Any spreads you can share? http://instagram.com/p/CbxVtNyu7EZ

blemon , Graphic 45 has an Alice in Wonderland collection. Silhouette also offers some cutting files, and print& cut files based on Alice in Wonderland, and you can buy the SVG version for use with non-Silhouette electronic cutters. I’m sorry that I don’t have any suggestions for layouts. I do two page spreads, but I haven’t done any with the Alice theme. You have great photos for scrapping, so I hope you find what you need in both supplies and inspiration!

Any spreads you can share? http://instagr.am/p/CbxVtNyu7EZ I love a good photo strip if I have multiple photos like this from something. My personal choice for these photos, if I wanted a 2 page spread, would be to do the photo strips of 5 on one side, then do a full page (or at least enlarged) of my very favorite. We enjoyed meeting Alice in 2017, but didn't look her up in 2020. Now that characters have been announced to be back in the parks on the 18th, we might have to stop by on our next trip.

Thanks for the ideas!
I just realized I only have one Alice paper and it's a sheet from Echo Park of cut-up, each 3X4".
I don't have two of very many papers but I'll make something work. I might have to do one big photo on the left, cutting up some of these images as embellishments, then a pocket page for the right side so I can use these cards.
gotta be flexible!

I'm so excited for this. We usually try to pick just one character per day to meet as it can take a lot of time (not knowing when they'll be where they are and sometimes standing in line). I'm really really really hoping they will open the launch bay in hollywood studios. DYING to meet Chewie.

In 2017, we had to hit our "favorites". In 2020, we finished all the princesses + must haves. We have a like 8" Mickey that we spray painted all white and then used rainbow Sharpie colors for all the signatures. Poor Gaston just got to sign his arm because it popped off in DH's bag right before! He was confused, but a very good sport. We visit him every time now. We also do Minnie Mouse each trip of me and my girls. The very first one is from when we visited Disneyland and they were under 2 and 8 months. We've continued and made sure she's in a different dress each time. It's one of my favorite things. I have not, personally, met Goofy so he is on my list.

That actually might help us decide which outfits to where to the parks. We have the Minnies for one day and then princesses in regular clothes for another. I think Minnie might only meet at Epcot. I have no idea. Your story is hilarious. Gaston is the best and we have so much fun with him. I have a couple of things in my plan that I am going to take out so we'll have room for a character. I'm an obsessive planner and live by my TouringPlans. I'm sad Baymax is gone. We loved to hug him. One day I want to see Snow White and the 7 Dwarves but I heard they are only at one of the parties. If the line is hours long, you're wasting your whole party to see them.

I have no idea. There was a Minnie at each park, I'm not sure what will happen when they come back out though. We have her at the Circus and in her Hollywood glam gown (DHS) and then the red and white from DL. I'm hoping for a 50th anniversary dress this time. I'm sad Baymax is gone. We loved to hug him. DS, too. They hugged him once and now he's gone. They did meet Ralph & Vanellope instead though, which was SO FUN. Oh, and Joy! DD loved Joy. Sadness wasn't around or I would've been in that one, she's my favorite. One day I want to see Snow White and the 7 Dwarves but I heard they are only at one of the parties. If the line is hours long, you're wasting your whole party to see them. That sucks. We splurged on the Akershus breakfast last time so we could finish out our princess autographs and then jump on Frozen Ever After. We got super lucky and got Belle (of course), Snow White, Ariel, Aurora, and Cinderella. That left us to only go visit Jasmine. Totally worth it!

In case you didn't see it in the other thread, Simple Stories has a new Disney line coming out with stuff from the various lands: Say Cheese in the Parks. They also have a new collection called In the Wild that would go well with an Animal Kingdom trip. I NEED an Epcot line. Get it together people. Give me Figment. Give me Orange Bird.

Once for my daughter's birthday we took her to the Castle for breakfast and it was magical. Absolutely perfect. Of course the food isn't worth what you pay for it but that's not why you go. There's a cool view from there and it really does feel special for a girl. She was dressed as Snow White and we didn't tell her what was happening. When we got to the park for the early entry, the CM scanned our bands and asked where we were going. I said, "We are having breakfast with the princesses at the Castle." My daughter freaked out. She was so excited. Worth every penny. She was 8 so it was the perfect age. I'm sure we'll go again one day but that was really special. The princesses really took their time with each kid.

My youngest DD still wears her Figment ears we got at the park about once every 2 weeks.
