I am not a sit and relax vacationer, first and foremost. I want to see and do everything I can on my vacation, if it is a go to the mountain resort trip or a city themed trip. I don’t cook on trips for city and beach trips but with mountain trips it is easier to cook dinner and pack stuff for lunches.
When we go to the mountains or the beach we go on several hikes or explore local nature oddities, caves, waterfalls, etc. if there are any weird museums or anything we always visit those too.
I wish we could travel more, but it just costs so much between the actual travel, lodging, and paying for a cat sitter. We typically just do overnight trips a couple times a year and a big trip every couple of years.
