I didn't see your "scraplift" mention at the end of the post!!! Going back I totally see the scraplift, but it was the monochromatic blue, the cluster in the lower left, the title and flower embellies of your Kellee layout that popped at me, whereas in the one you lifted I saw mainly layered papers under the photo. It's amazing how simple changes can really change a layout. Those two pages could be next to each other in an album and I would say they looked entirely different (I, however, am the person who never notices when people get haircuts...so maybe it's a problem with me )

Linda great layouts from 2006! I love how many photos you got on your carnival layout without it looking crowded. It's still very clean with just the right about of accents! I also really like your Easter egg coloring layout. I always struggle with those because my photos never seem good enough, but I really like yours!!

KelleeM I loved your layout about you!! Great colors, accents and subject. Then I scrolled down and WOW that baby layout is fabulous!!

Wooohooo, I'm off to a good start for me for the month! But each weekend is booked with other stuff, so hopefully I can still get some pages done. I did order some more pictures this weekend so that is good. And I ordered 4x4's so hopefully they will be more pleasing in my 8 1/2 x 11 PL album. 

This weekend I have a dog show that I'm taking Ryder to. We are not entered, he will be in the Samoyed breed booth getting love from the public and educating people about our breed. That will be in Seattle both days and then Saturday I also have to leave the show early for my sister's birthday dinner, 1 1/2 hours away from Seattle   That will be a long day as I need to take Ryder home from the show (north) then head to my sister's house (south). So I guess that 1 1/2 hour trip will be more like 2+ hours!

Then the next weekend is our crop and I'm double booked that weekend. I have a celebration for our Iron Paws Stage Run one day. That was a six week urban mushing race that Ryder and I did for the first time this year. You'll be seeing layouts of that hopefully this month    We also have our Samoyed play date which is a different activity each month. This month is scootering as we can only scooter in the cooler months. 

My PL album started out as an album to document Ryder's training, but since I go to my training classes alone I never get pictures of us in class or training. So now it's just an album of what we do when I do get pictures! So lots of scootering, socializing and dog shows.

The 2006 album is finished - I just need to scan Jul-Dec and put them into albums. So I'm moving on...working on DD18's college album, starting with her back to school photo this January. I love that she sends me photos from college to scrapbook!

I started out trying to scraplift this layout but mine didn't end up looking much like it.

LisaDV - love the circles and the colours on the kite layout! All the layers and cluster on the boy layout are awesome and that photo! priceless

sleepingbooty , I love the photos of your blossoms. The soft colors look like fabric. Beautiful design. Wish I could speak (and read) French. Lovely. Your Fave Series page is such a great idea to document what you like right now. I love the staples and bit of ribbon. I want to remember that. I love your Disney layout and the beautiful photos of Princesses. So pretty. Disney pages are my favorite to scrap.~ Your page about Keith Flint is very poignant. Colors are perfect. I am sorry for the loss of someone you enjoyed.

Linda , I love your Carnival page. Love the design and the bright colors picked up from your photos. That Carnival title piece is just perfect. ~ Sweet Easter page. I love to see action photos and those of the dyeing of the eggs are wonderful. Pretty soft Easter/Spring colors.
