one more for the college album - the scan seems to have cut off the sides - the paper layers don't go quite all the way to the sides - and it's not crooked irl "Cathleen" (8.5x11) = 1(layout) + 1 (sharing) + 2 (#4 cardstock/PP) + 1 (#6 8.5x11) + 1 (#14 rectangles) + 1 (#35 6x6) + 2 (#36 photo already printed) + 1 (#66 PL cards - the 2 plaids) + 1(#68 word sticker) = 11

How are we on page 3 already !!! sleepingbooty , your flower photos are beautiful, and the "papers" you chose suit them perfectly. I like the stitching and the twine on the garden and princess pages Your tv show page bubbles are really cool, and the bristled b/w mixed media mess behind the Keith Flint photo makes a meaningful statement. Really neat choices, both. Are you enjoying digital? You're talented with it. How about the 12x12 format, or do you prefer the smaller size you were working on not so long ago? crystalb , I'm crazy about the colors and all the layers on your pages, and I love! that spray of mini bling across your Curly or Straight page. And you're pretty darn cute too! Linda , how perfect is that Carnival piece in the upper right? Great job getting all *nine* photos and your story on the pages! I like the paper and tag on your Easter egg page too, and the pink bunny paper that matches the bunny on the plate. And I see nuvo drops on your birthday page! Your Cathleen page is really sophisticated with all the layers of black and white paper and then the pops of pink - nice! KelleeM , your Baby Girl page is gorgeous ( what a sweet smile! ), but I think I like the page about you even more - it always makes me so happy to see us get into our books with pages of our own! thracian , the layers! and the stitching! and the paper dolls! and the gold - there's so much to love about this page And great donut paper for Cupid - what a face on that one! nylene , I just love the flowers and the branch - did you piece those together yourself? That would have taken me ages! And I love the smile on your Little Graduate. So many fun school supplies too! LisaDV , beautiful photos on your Fly a Kite pages - love the big yellow sun and the cloud paper, and the kite and all the layers and bits. Was this one digital? It's so hard to tell what's paper and what's digital now, the elements can look so realistic! Can't wait to see what you all make next!

Dang! I had every intention of coming to stay caught up this month and we are at 3 pages already! You ladies are on fire!! This is for page one. I will have to come back later to get to pages 2 and 3. gmcwife1, and crystalb there's love in the gallery! sleepingbooty your in the garden is lovely! So simple and so beautiful! Loving all the white space! And your Netflix spread is awesome! AussieMeg is right, it looks like a magazine spread. I love documenting things like this. Your Keith Flint tribute is perfect. I love the colors you chose, the photo of him, the title, the stitching - all of it! For your first 'dip into digi' ( 12x12 to boot) great job! You photos just pop on that Disney LO! Like the staples for attaching. @kellem I love both these pages! Those blues! I love it! And the gold drops are perfect. This is a favorite! And I love that happy baby face! That LO is so soft and feminine. Love it! linda I love the happy fun Easter colors and PP here. I have a love/hate relationship with my older photos. Sometimes it's hard to get myself to scrap them. OH and your carnival pages! Love those embellies! Which reminds me I have some to scrap as well, need to pull those out for this month.

I thought this story needed to be documented. I laughed when I arrived at DD's home for Thanksgiving and saw that her children have carried on the "teasing mom" tradition. Who Moved the Pilgrims? #4 flowers, cardstock, green, patterned paper, kraft, circles, Y yellow = 7, #6 8.5x11, #7 Heart, #11 Dies and cut files, #14 Rectangle, #18 Embossing folder, #19 Butterflies, #30 stitched dies, #36 already printed photo, #54 glittery jewels, #59 50+ words, #64 2 clusters =2, #65 5 manuf, AC, EK, Stampin Up, Cameo, Sizzix, one page posted. =22 points.

thracian - on "best friends" I love your torn edges, your stitching, your layers, and your use of the 2 girls on your layout! It's fabulous! on "play all day" I enjoyed all the details and I especially like that mesh flower! nylene - as always, I'm in awe of your die cutting and colour choices - so adorable. The inking on your "tree" and the stitching on the other elements adds such great detail. "pilgrims" is the same - amazing!!! I also love the design, the clean journaling spaces make it very easy on the eyes. linda - love happy birthday because the blue and pps "pop" and I love the banner title! "cathleen" I love the monotone layers, they look great. And your ability to keep scrapping those memories is something I'm very envious of!! LisaDV - your "fly a kite" layout is gorgeous, I love the arching circles, such amazing movement! "waits for food" is charming and I love the blended layers and how you got in themey items without overwhelming the layout. Great chuckle too! "pluviophile" - the background blue stripe pp is so perfect, I can't say enough about that one choice!!! justjac - great use of the photos to lead the eye through "circus monkeys", but breaking them up with frames and embellies - it's fab. And your card is so pretty! Did you gesso/white out the centre for the title?

Catching up on page 2 (wow, so much has been posted since the end of the weekend!) with the comments and love.
Linda So many layouts to catch up on! You've been a very busy bee. Loving all the Easter pages. The pink Easter bunny face pattern paper is super cute and I must ask about the Easter bunny treat featured on that page. Is it a coconut pastry or sweet? The echoing of colours between the photos and pretty papers for the 'Mama Made' LO is picture (ha!) perfect. So summery and light despite having all those colours happening, congrats! I really like how you repeated the dotted paper pattern in the 'Happy Birthday' page with the Nuvo dots and inversed the usual dark-to-light vertical pattern and rooted your photos to the bottom with the lighter but busier paper: it makes the title pop so much. I think it's so lovely that you "keep up" with your daughter's college life by having her send you photos to scrap, by the way.
thracian Your 'Best Friends' LO is such a great example of layering. The leopard print vellum is to die for (and perfect with the stitched frame). I love how you weren't afraid of taking on so many different patterns and have made them work beautifully together. The gold touches strewn across the page make a lovely aesthetic statement and I just love how you framed in the photo strip by visually "reducing" the square to a rectangular strip. Really great work using layers and patterns to "change" formats on a page. Oh my, the cuteness of your dog with that giant donut toy on 'Play All Day' is out of this world! Can I pet him through the screen, pretty please? Your page really takes the adorable factor of the photo to another level (and that's saying a lot considering how high it was to begin with). Loving the soft pastels, journaling tag with twine and very contemporary emphasis on "ALL" by using those larger letters.
nylene Oh, a fellow Disney park fan (and yes, I agree, they are so much fun to scrap)! Such a cute page for such 'Cute Characters." You made such a lovely themed LO to give Dale (and your grandkids) his natural habitat. Absolutely adorable. Aren't Chip 'n Dale amazing to interact with? They're so cheeky. Our Chip 'n Dale (Tic & Tac in French) in Disneyland Paris aren't afraid to "steal" your bag, dance with you and do other silly things. I love-love-love interacting with them. I know I've told you before but I'll repeat it: you make brown work so well on scrap pages. Love all the colour extraction you've done for 'Little Graduate.' This page is full of wonderful layers. I love the half and half effect with the contrast of color depth (light versus dark). And boy, his adorable little smile, my heart melteth! Congrats to him for embracing school life to the fullest and doing so well. I adore the circle diagram paper in the background of 'Moving Onward.' Such a nice memory to journal down for him to look back on later.
gmcwife1 Can't wait to see photos of Ryder working his magic at the dog show and being the bestest boy getting ALL the scratches behind the ears and treats.
LisaDV Oh, the 'Fly A Kite' page is so dreamy! I absolutely love the sequence photos leading up to the close-ups. Great visual energy! That big golden orange circle looks like the sun on the (blue background) horizon which is such a brilliant idea for a page about being outdoors doing an activity up in the sky. The horizontal "line" elements on the left and right do such a great job to frame the project (X stitches, heart cluster and lace banner) while putting the emphasis on the horizontal disposition of the photo sequence. 'How A Boy Waits For Food' has so many heart eye-inducing elements I don't know where to start. I adore how you erased the colours of the background in the photo to let your kiddo shine and then used the black&white theme through the rest of the page to frame the main picture from both opposite corners, so smart! Using the two other primary colours to complement all the blue in the photo was genius, I see what you did there with the red and yellow, Ma'am. What an adorable anecdote to document, by the way (and oh, the crossed staples, be still my heart). You hit the pot of gold with that majestic rainbow in 'Pluviophile.' Love how clean you kept the background for this, mimicking the light grey rainy sky. The stripe reversal (dress versus pattern paper mat) with complementary colours is top notch and injects great dynamics to the LO!

Managed to squeeze in a sneaky LO while being at my mother's for a day this week. Gotta love going digital for that!
Digital 12x12 LO: "Be There For Others" about helping my mother by making her a cosy nook in her office downstairs where she can roll herself to with her brand new wheel chair. I'm so glad she's no longer stuck in bed and can wheel herself to a quiet place where there is a small sofa and a TV for some entertainment. The journaling is about the work I did to rearrange furniture downstairs, set up a bedroom there, order things from Amazon to make it easier for her, install a TV antenna, etc. Enjoy my mother's lightning bolt PJs in this very chic picture (guest appearance by random cardboard boxes)! She'd hate me for publicly posting this, tee hee... Blurred for privacy. Challenges met:Project finished & shared (2) #4 Bingo - cardstock, patterned paper, blue, staples, free space: typed journaling, pink, something with an L 'leg', something with a U 'update' on my mother's accident + home situation while she's on the mend in journaling, something with a C 'chevron', something with a K 'knit' for the sock cover over her toes and cast which she knit herself and a teal knitting project in the background, by her head, something with a Y 'yellow' for lightning bolts, vertical line completed (16) | #5 Animals - butterfly (1) | #9 Donna Challenge - someone I admire (1) | #14 Rock Those Rectangles (1) | #15 Be There Or Be Square (1)| #19 Learn About Butterflies Day (1) | #30 Stitch In Time (1) | #38 Spring-kle - tiny ink splatter (1) | #39 Spring Clean (1) | #40 March On (1) | #41 Digi-You See This (1) | #46 Stamps (1) | #51 New Or Unused - freshly bought set of digi word art + embellishments (1) | #57 Wonder Woman (1) | #59 Just Journal (1) | #61 Mixed Media - digi ink splatter + digi gesso + digi paint brush stroke (1) | #68 Get Wordy - title + word strips (1) Total: 34Are you enjoying digital? You're talented with it. How about the 12x12 format, or do you prefer the smaller size you were working on not so long ago? Merci... *blushes* I'm loving it so very much. Both digital and 12x12. I did try my hand at a physical 12x12 last weekend, just to see, and I couldn't get it work. For some reason, I still love small format with paper, but the big large canvas for computer work. I'm just so happy I found something that works for me at the moment. I'd love to order a printed yearbook of my 12x12 LOs if I stick with it for the entire year.

So far behind with comments... have yet to get onto Flickr, but hope to do that later. First, the sharing thread. I will start with page one. Love seeing all your pages, sleepingbooty . Great job getting digi with In the garden! Love the elegant simplicity. Fav Series is an awesome way to document your screen time. Love the offset circles. Love the muted colour schemes on both. The happy colours in Pirates and Princesses LO is a nice change up, and I like the inverted bracket shape. His Messy Life is a wonderful tribute to someone who struggled. Everything from the bg pp to the messy paint strokes to the photo itself is on point. Great to see you back in the groove, Linda . Love that cute Carnival title piece and the happy colours. That Easter eggs LO is a fun way to document a family tradition. Love how that teal mat transitions from the fun Easter script pp to the photos KelleeM , your birthday page is awesome! LOVE that title “block”: interesting shape, pretty colours reminiscent of sand, sea and sky, and I love the gold thickets. Cute clusters, too.

My best friend lived with us for 7 years when the girls were small and it was her family tradition for Easter so she would make it for us. DD18 and DS27 both send me photos for scrapping - it makes me happy that they enjoy the scrapbooks and it means that they'll have printed photos for the future

Okay, on to page two... Linda , you have been a scrappin’ storm! Love the pop of bright pink mat that highlights the photo block in Tomb Cookies. Love all the cute little bunnies on the Easter pages, especially the yummy little one on the plate. Care to share how that was made? The Mama Made page just shouts out Spring! Sweet photo, lovely colours, cute butterfly. Navy was the perfect background for your festive Happy Birthday page. It supports all the other colours really well. Love the different colour choices for your college pages. Are those her school colours in UCF? The butterfly page is so soft and feminine in contrast. thracian , that Best Friends page is stunning!!! Love the layering, the colours, the photo booth shots, the perfect BFF diecut, EVERYTHING! And you found the PERFECT use of that donut pp on that play all day page! Love how you clustered the title, journaling tag, and all the cute extras around that cute photo! Got to Flickr today. There is love there for LisaDV, nylene, crystalb, justjac, AussieMeg, and gmcwife1
