Did anyone screenshot Rick's posts on the PTI forum about why Nichole and the designers left? The whole post "someone please catch me up" has now been deleted. Apparently Rick commented that Nichole left because she wasn't being paid by Jane and Julie and when the designers found out, they left as well. I did not see the actual post before everything was deleted.

Rick has always been a class A asshole so his shit stirring doesn’t surprise me. He was married to Julie who is also an asshole so no big surprise there...water seeks its own level.
As for the design team leaving, it doesn’t take a rocket scientist to figure out there was drama behind the scenes. Your entire design team, especially those who are so religious and wouldn’t say shit if they had a mouthful, wouldn’t leave in mass if everything was sunshine and roses.
Look at the instances of how Julie communicated with PAYING customers, do you really think she wasn’t the same or worse with her employees?
Betsy & Dawn’s designs were what kept me doing the very little shopping with PTI that I did. Now that they are gone, I doubt I’ll buy anything in the future.

From the forum.
Nichole left because Julie and Jane stopped paying her. Period. Two selfish evil women with no care for anyone else. Money is their God. Every decision they make is based on money. The designers left because they found out what REALLY happened to Nichole and they couldn't stomach working for those two evil people any more. Nichole quit to save herself from being involved with the Heskamp family.
Then a little later this person commented regarding Betsy Veldman’s new business venture: So happy for Betsy... she has always been the one person I knew would kill PTI if she left. She was responsible for millions in sales (sometimes her products accounted for 70% of the monthly numbers) and she never was treated like she should have been treated.

Rick was so helpful to so many people on release night including me. He went out of his way to get things straightened out when the website overloaded.

Very interesting, riley. Something major caused Nicole (and then later the design team) to leave so quickly. Rick's explanation makes sense.

ever wonder why so many designers have left PTI? Rick's explanation is spot on.

His latest comment is below the end quote. The comment refers to to the stationery they sold.
Always wondered about whether they actually produced those or just talked about it before they started with the stamps and dies. ---End Quote--- They did and sold them for a long time.... just nobody ever actually bought them. I just did a quick business search in Ohio and they recently registered the name Ink to Paper as a fictitious name for Papertrey Ink....
I do still believe that they are going to stop selling to individuals and just sell wholesale.... it makes a lot of sense and it is a lot easier. This way they do not have to have monthly releases and they can just pay people to design stuff for them....

Checked out Betsy's new release. Very unique. Beautiful stamps. Not sure I can do anything with them for my purposes. But she did a great job coming up with something not seen all over the place and over-done. It is great to have new options!
