I think I may make another kit to play with. I have been playing with this one this week already! You can play now ladies and gents! It is technically iNSD WEEK! SO go for it!
If you make more than one kit you get more than one entry!

Kit 3 by d steck, on Flickr One more kit. This has been a new thing for me. I’ve never kit scrapped before either buying one or doing it myself so I’ll see how it turns out.

hop2 I think that bright blue green is going to give it the pop you want! I love the Shimelle mixed with with PinkFresh! you might be right I got it out for a matte to layer on so it won’t be so in your face. Also it does match one of the blues on the base paper. I picked bright colors for this album ( & 50’s inspired paper too ) because my DD spent her semester there painting in neon colors & well, so much of the city reminds me of mid century architecture so itjust seemed to fit. ( well the parts of the city that aren’t ancient ruins or brand new are mid century which is a large portion of it ) If she doesn’t hate having an actual scrapbook then I’m going to do her other semester abroad.

Here is my kit! I didn’t do a good job of spreading the pp out. I also added three sets of Thickers and doubled up on some the the embellishments. I like using a lot of embellishments on my pages!

I'm finding that, with this kit, I'm having to work on multiple layouts at the same time. In order to progress on one page, I need scraps from another page. I think this is going to be a bit of a juggling act. I have nine backgrounds to make first, and then I can play with whatever's left over.
It's a good thing I like puzzles. I'm going to use every bit of this kit !!!

And right now I’m on my 2nd 8x8 album so there are a lot of decent patterns in there of good size. But my first one worked nicely! I’m sure once you get your backgrounds in order it will come together quickly. You have a good eye.

My problem is that I'm trying to use every little bit of this paper, and I don't want any of it to go to waste. When only the edge will show, I'm cutting the middles out. And since I want to die cut from my scraps, I need to first make sure that I get my matting done first. I'm just being thrifty and trying to see how far I can stretch it.

Here's mine: started with that Pink Paislee Horizon multi-coloured rays. First pic is the bright papers, 2nd pic is sub-papers and neutral papers, 3rd pic is the elements including old doodlebug doilies, stickers to "sprinkle", letters as my commonly used things (may add more), hero arts stamp, stencil plus ribbon (texture) and hearts puffy stickers!
