catseatcheese, I left love for your fun pages on Flickr. Some of my comments have been dropped lately, but hoping these went through. So glad you got to play this month! craftymom101, I love your scrappy style. That happy little boy is so adorable. I love all the stacked & tucked in goodness, the banner, the buttons. I like the big title on Taking a Break, and again all the layering and cool embellishments, especially the stars. You always seem to get so much onto a page, yet leave so much white space to balance it out. Is that your album cover, KikiPea? I love the flowers on that terra cotta background. Great lift, LisaDV! Love your fancy rosettes: did you buy them, or did you punch the edges of paper strips? Or are they digi? I love the twine dancing across the page, and the cute title.

I knew I should have clicked on it to enlarge. I just liked the overall look of it with the flowers and the word celebrate.

grammadee thank you for your kind comments! I usually start out with just a few supplies on my desk then end up piling on all the embellishments! The little boy in the green striped jumper is now 10 years old. How did that happen!?!

Wow LisaDV, I'm honored that you picked my layout as inspiration! I love your use of banners in the background, and the subject/title cracked me up! KikiPea, that card is stunning. What I like most is how you took Vicky butterflies but changed the colour scheme - it feels less primary/bright than her full line because of your treatment. craftymom101 - so much to love on both your layouts - the shimelle use, the layers, the title work/mixes, the lovely colours and yet breathability you give your designs, the doodads and clusters, the splatters, they are really great! catseatcheese - I must come back and peruse/comment more on your lovely work, but I have to run to work myself, so for now I'll just say that "this moment" is amazing, the texture/layers, the diamonds, the little die cut animal shapes, the sweet kitty, I love it and want to stare longer at it!!!

justjac, everyone should have a friend like “a bad influence” or be that friend! Awesome page! I love the whole design with the hand drawn journal spots and the + signs. My cursed Jeep: Your poor jeep! I love that you included the police report for the 3rd. I think it works even better than another photo! Also love the tally of the cost of these accidents. Stay Bright: Great use of the paper and vellum photo mat. Anne: Heart this so much. The colors, design, patterns. KikiPea, Grateful Head: Beautiful layout. I love the floral pp and the vw bus along with those trippy mushrooms and munchies. Love all the tributes to a play on the Grateful Dead. Girls Gone Wine: Laughing so hard at that saying. Those little cards with the photos are fun. Love the wine bottles with shades on the top. Oh Snap: Love these pages! Great colors and clusters. #hi girlfriend: What lovely photos of your group. I like the way you ran the title work sideways up the photos and that large camera. Celebrate card: Gorgeous card. I love the colors. catseatcheese, Shine: Great photo and love the layering. Love This: Gorgeous! I love the triangle pp pieced band with the glitter words. Dooger: So, So cute – the page and the dog! Fabulous layering and clusters. Happy: This Moment is Everything: love the diamonds and sprinkled embellishments. The Sweet Life: Those stitched squares are wonderful, again great layering, and the florals rock. Beautiful. PL: You have some great layering and awesome designs. craftymom101, Happy Boy: I love the banner cluster at the top and the use of that JC and die on top. Taking a Break at Disney: Lovely page. Love the clusters and layers.

Left love for you on Flickr, AussieMeg . I hope my comments stay put! I have been fooling around trying to design a z card for fathers' day. One ds is a small rancher and team roper, so I wanted his to be country/western in theme. Spent a lot of time on this trying to figure out how to make all the elements work, and ended up changing the "usual" band to a fence. In the end, I decided to turn it into a birthday card for him. His bd is not until the end of July, and I have a lot of cards "due" before then, but here it is. The colours are a bit washed out here, but you get the idea. ranch bd inside by Gramma Dee, on Flickr And here is the outside: ranch bd by Gramma Dee, on Flickr Points: one card created and shared (2). #13 scraps, #23 two pp's, #45 layered stickers, #60 rectangular card, #66 animals. Total: 7 points.

grammadee - Your card looks storebought! That's incredible! justjac - OK, so you are talented both with paper and digital - I had no idea! "tricky" - I love the 2 different sized photos and how the layout feels balanced and yet interesting because of this! Amazing layers. "where is she" and "chocolate" - again, amazing clusters and layers and the colours! I really like the frames/photos across the bottom of "chocolate" and how the white pops the photos against the bright colours. And I'm in love with "mountains" - the colours, the stamps, it's beautiful. catseatcheese - "vino fest" - love the stitched grid behind the photo, the layers of texture are amazing with the tags poking out and twine and all. Your PL pages are so detailed, each little square deserves some love, you've obviously spent a lot of creative time here. "choose happy" - Dooger is adorable, and your paper layers and repetition with the bottom papers/cluster are great. You did the same balance with "love this" and "shine" and I like that small element across from the heavy layers to hold the layout in balance. YOur use of the Maggie Holmes is lovely, not feeling overly feminine at all which is where I struggle with it!

Busy scrapping again, I see, Linda! Those photos are amazing on "Morning": taken from a ship? So awesome that he sends you pic's like this and you have done a great job scrapping them! The cs and letters match the sky perfectly! And the background pp in "USS Stethem" is wonderful: gives so much movement to the page. Was your ds on any of the crews that were reviewed by Pres Trump when he was in Japan?

No, he's in Okinawa and the President visited Yokosuka, I believe.

Layers are not my default (even subbing the papers I wanted seemed time consuming). My from scratch layouts tend to be simpler.

Your ds's navy album seems to be coming along swimmingly, Linda! Love the anchors and the pops of red on the "Stethem coin" page. Love the navy/yellow colour combo on the cleanup page, and how you matted the Hero card. And eeeehew, the snake sake looks like something I would NEVER want to drink! Funny that you went with the flowery table cloth and jar cover with your pink floral background. Love the blues and greens on the "Yum" page. Great that you have a photo of the gathering and of the food.

Thanks grammadee - that flowery background paper is from Photoplay's Paper Crane collection - DS leaves Japan next week so I'm trying to work my way through the remaining Japan-themed scrapbook stuff and get it used. Not 100% happy with this page but the photo really didn't give me much to work with. linda, gotta say, you're mixing it up more this month, colourful and fun! Love the pp choices and colours on "super hero", and the sake story is a little justjac - "every picture" - love the cameras and "ambience" of the page, and your photos are kickass "the good stuff" made me think of restaurants we ate at on vacation - I chuckled when I read that you too were away from home. Again, great colours and love how the photos nestle together. The mixed media background on "love you" is lovely, drawing the eye down through the photos.

This one took me all week. I started with the sketch from May 18, sigh, two-pagers always take me so long. But I am glad to have the story of this weekend written out. That took me a while all by itself - editing to hit the key points and fit it into my given space. The colours are so different from my norm. I bought some of the Bo-Bunny "Harmony" pps because I thought they were gorgeous, and they are. BUT they are not my style so that much harder to make me happy! I'm glad I got some of them used anyways. the view in north bay by kirstendrew, on Flickr

I can't read the journaling on "Life is an Adventure" page, Linda. I like the little tags and the matting. Looks very athletic to match the shoe. Love you photo of those little guys, teacherlisa. Love your gardening photos. Great way to celebrate Spring!
