Hey everyone! Thanks you so much for the kind birthday wishes!!!! Happy birthday to woodysbetty too. I hope you are enjoying your day. Since my dh is working late tonight, we celebrated last Saturday. I wanted to go to this Beverly Hills hotel restaurant I saw on social media, so that's what we did. We went for breakfast and had a great time. I took lots of pictures of this very glamourous place. I even took pictures in the bathroom! LOL! There were mirrors on every door and wall. I almost didn't know how to find the stale door! LOL! We really had a relaxing time and the food was pretty good too. Then, we went to this shopping center near by. I hadn't been there in years and it was nice to visit again. I am so used my city and my routines, it was good to break out of it for the day and see a different side of life. Oh, our baby bird... got its wings and flew away. I miss that little bird but I could tell it was getting ready to leave the nest. It was sitting more and more on the edge of the nest and sometimes flapping its wings. I keep looking on Sunday afternoon. Then, I looked again and it was gone. Later, I saw the mom come to see the baby and she must of been surprised to see it was gone. Hopefully, they found each other. So cute! grammadee- Hope you are feeling better! Take it easy. LisaDV- Thanks so much to the birthday wishes here and on the other birthday page!!!! So sweet! I hope to have some cake today and maybe do some yoga!!! LOL! Oh, I love your t-shirts! You are so good at it. I want to make some with inspirational words. I went to M's and got some vinyl I thought but it for sport jerseys. What kind do you use? I wanted to get white (matte) and it seems hard to find. @elaynef- So happy you and your family are safe. This crazy weather is crazy. But it is good to know when crisis happen, good people are there to help. Praying for you and your area to be safe. nylene- Hey there! You good this week? Just sending you a hug! Also, thanks to all of you who left love on my blog. I appreciate it! I hope to do more on my blog soon. Waving hello to all you ladies and have a good day!

Happiest of birthdays to both of you, kellyr21 and woodysbetty! As for me, I'm a true Pokey Pea this month: really struggling to get anything done scrap-wise (I really dislike being so busy). I have a long weekend starting tonight (Ascension Day is a public holiday here) and I'm going to try and get into the scrap groove again tonight even though it's already 11:30PM... Send help/scrappy vibes/inspiration/whatever to get my creative juices flowin'... How's the weather around the Pokey globe? Anybody else feel like this spring has been exceptionally slow to move into summer? Anybody seen the Aladdin live action? The pro reviews are meh but the audience seems to like it so I think I'm tempted to talk my SO into going to see it this weekend to relax and soak up some happy vibes.

Thanks all for the lovely birthday wishes and I hope you day was awesome kellyr21!! Glad to be in the new house ( finally) but think I may have overdone it a bit as the MS is giving me a bit of a turn, ( yuck!) Hopefully, tomorrow will be better as we are planning to explore some beaches...which frankly feels better than slogging through anymore boxes!! Hugs to all!!

Happy Birthday to kellyr21 and woodysbetty. I'm glad you had good days. I have not been able to get into the Gallery since the day it was down. It pops up for 2 seconds and then I just get a blank page. Anyone else having trouble? kellyr21, I'm sorry your little birdie flew away. I'm sure you will miss him/her. My neighbor had a next in the wreath on her front door and the mother bird was dive bombing anyone coming to the front door. She had to post a sign on the lawn that said, "Go to the side door, we have a baby bird in the nest on the front door." Glad you had a good day at the Hotel and shopping. It's always nice to get out of the house. woodysbetty, I hope you don't overdo it as you are unpacking. I'm sorry the MS is acting up. Take it easy. The boxes will still be there tomorrow. Glad you are in the home. I'm sure it feels great. sleepingbooty, I am sending you all kinds of inspiration, mojo, and good vibes for some scrappy fun for you. I hope it helps. LOL grammadee, I hope you are feeling better. Is the consult this week or next? I have been working on ideas for invitation to Cousin Camp. I need to run them past DGS (8) who wants to be in charge this year. I think we will have a lot of fun with the younger ones. Three of the teens have jobs so may not be able to be here the whole time. We'll take them when we can get them.

This year is quickly slipping away. School let out today and we finally have a day with sunshine and in the 50's. I went to Alex's Dance Festival at the school yesterday and shivered in the cold. Maybe....Spring has come!
I was finally able to get into the Gallery here. I will try to catch up on all your scrappy projects.
I will start a new thread tomorrow night.

Glad you are back in the Gallery, nylene! Did you have to log out and log back in? That was ONE of the things I did when they made their switch over. Had to change my password b/c I can't even remember when the last time was that I actually logged in there: usually once I am logged in here, I am automatically logged in over there. Gremlins have been stealing some of my Flickr comments, not sure why... Maybe they are not yet moving comments with the photo when the owner copies it from photostream to group? So cute that the 8 year old is going to coordinate Cousin Camp! I am sure you will all be in for a pile of FUN!!! woodysbetty, I hope you start feeling better soon. Those boxes can wait. I hope the effects of the physical and mental demands of the move start to ease off now that you are settled. I think I am done creating for this month. Was trying to create some Fathers' Day cards, but all I managed to make was a big MESS! Have pulled out and am sifting through all the manly materials in my stash. I had thought I could coordinate the cards (5 of them) and use the same theme for all, but I think I will just have to grab things that appeal to each of the recipients and build individual cards. In the next day and a half of May, I need to get into town to pay some bills, and dh wants my help with his sandbox project. He needs to drive the lawn tractor a mile or so to where the sand is, and then he wants me to bring the pickup truck so he can load it with sand. I suggested that perhaps he might want to dig the hole at this end first and drop the liner in so he will have someplace for the sand to go when he gets it home, but that is not what he wants to do.

Here are the baby hummingbird pics. I didn't want to get too close for concern the mama would tap dance on my head! nylene The nest was on this flimsy branch which was constantly moving with the wind. But it was so well built it never look wobbly. Amazing!

Here is the crazy mirror bathroom I told you about. It was like being in one of those "fun houses."

nylene - Man, if that moma bird was attacking us as we have one entrance into our apartment, that would of be hard. LOL! But I think she had an eye on us and saw we were not bothering her baby. It was funny to me how Ron would check on the bird too. I thought it was just me, but we both got sucked in and even our neighbor was checking on it. LOL!
woodysbetty - How was the beach? I am glad you took a break from those boxes and relaxed. Hugs to you!
I did have a nice birthday. It was quiet but nice. Thanks again everyone!

grammadee , I had to come up with my Yahoo username and password and then the username and password for Flickr. I was able to request a reset since I have no idea what those old passwords were. My guesses didn't work. Finally, it allowed me in and I have made a note of the passwords. LOL Nice to be able to leave comments again. I went to the $ store this morning hoping to find anything "Dinosaur" for cousin camp. They had everything I had in mind. That doesn't usually happen for me. I came home with 4 big bags full. I thought we could put vinyl dinos on cups for each cousin, but the kids want to etch glass drinking glasses with dinos. We haven't done that for 5 or 6 years, so that will be fun. I hope to chat with DGS on the weekend to help finalize things. They will be coming from Calif on the 15th.

Happy belated birthdays kellyr21 and woodysbetty. grammadee have fun with the sand. I have to make one more page tonight to complete LOAD. Then I need to make two cards tomorrow, but that will be for the June challenge. nylene Cousins Camp sounds like it will be so much fun. You asked earlier if I was directing and acting. I actually ended up giving up the directing since we were short of actors. I have rehearsal Sunday night. sleepingbooty this week it is starting to feel like summer. Although it cooled off a bit because there forest fire smoke has blown our way. I haven't seen any of the live action remakes of cartoons, so I'm in no hurry to see this one either. Last night we had supper for my FIL's birthday, I had bookclub at 7, and play rehearsal was scheduled for 8. Rehearsal ended up canceled, but my scene partner and I went through our lines anyway. We are supposed to be off book (have our lines memorized) by Sunday. It's hard to believe the show will be in only 3 weeks. It is a quiet weekend otherwise and I am really looking forward to that. We're invited to a barbeque Saturday night, but that's the only thing on the schedule other than the rehearsal. What do you have planned for the weekend?
