Deadline White House...
”This gives Mr. Nadler now an opportunity to go to court and say 'Your Honor, what they are doing is way over broad, it's not applicable, it's not right. We have a legitimate legislative oversight responsibility, they're impeding that'” - Chuck Rosenberg w/ @nicolledwallace”
Its time the Democrats go to court. If they let this slide then it becomes the new norm and goes against the government the Founding Fathers set up.

linkWell so much for state rights. I thought was a really big thing on the right. NPR... ”A sharply divided U.S. Supreme Court ruled Friday that property owners can go directly to federal court with claims that state and local regulations effectively deprive landowners of the use of their property. The 5-to-4 decision overturned decades of precedent that barred property owners from going to federal court until their claims had been denied in state court. Federal courts are often viewed as friendlier than state courts for such property claims. The decision, with all five of the court's conservatives in the majority, may have particular effects in cities and coastal areas that have strict regulations for development.” THIS is why I shied away from Republicans in 2012. Now I’m fully running away because they are super upfront that no one’s right matter but theirs. Not states, not other religions, not people different from them. Just their right matter.

GOP..
”THANK YOU, @realdonaldtrump!”
With this tweet is a picture of trump with the comment “We will never stop fighting for the values that makes us one America”.
Translation: “We will never stop fighting for the values that makes us one white American”. Oh and if you are a member of the LGBTQ community, you aren’t welcome either.”

ABC News From North Carolina “2-year-old boy accidentally shoots, kills himself with gun he took from grandma's purse: Officials” “Kayden's grandmother and aunt had been watching him while his parents were at work, Dill said. " Apparently he went into the grandmother's purse that was sitting on the bed and in some way retrieved, was handling the gun when it discharged," Dill said.
Deputies and EMS rushed to the scene. Kayden was pronounced dead on the way to the hospital, according to the Greenville County Sheriff's Office. No charges have been filed at this time but the investigation is ongoing, Greenville County Sheriff spokesman Lt. Ryan Flood said on Friday.” Why was that gun even in her purse? What was she expecting? An attack from “The Hole-In-The-Wall gang”? And why didn’t she put that purse really out of reach of this little guy? There is no excuse for this happening. None. But smart guns that couldn’t do this are bad. Like bad enough to threaten the life of gun dealers who think about selling smart guns from over seas

about this.. “Horrifying: 4 Severely Ill Migrant Toddlers Hospitalized After Lawyers Visit Border Patrol Facility”
Now this isn’t a bad idea. While trump holds his campaign rally, at the expense of the American Taxpayers, at the Lincoln Monument, there should be huge rallies out of the detention centers that are holding these kids.
I refuse to use the term “concentration camp” until such time these centers start gassing these children.

The press should treat Sanders the way she treated them. Like shit.

Jennifer Hayden on the Manafort and Hannity texts..
”Sean Hannity should be fired from Fox News today.
Can you imagine the reaction if Chris Hayes or Rachel Maddow were coordinating coverage with an Obama official under investigation for colluding with a foreign enemy?”
“This is example #6,592 how conservatives are held to an entirely different standard, or no standards at all.”

This from the Hill..
”President Trump: "There were numerous cases where women were paid money to say bad things about me. You can't do that. You can't do that. And those women did wrong things."
Prompted this simple truth from Doug Gordon...
”Trump is an unindicted co-conspirator in a federal case for paying women to lie about their encounters with him.”

Manu Raju...
”Paul Manafort told Sean Hannity that he would never give up information on President Donald Trump or senior White House adviser and Trump's son-in-law Jared Kushner, according to newly unsealed texts between the two men in 2017 and 2018.”
One would think that if trump and Kushner were innocent of any wrong doing there wouldn’t be a need for Manafort to make that sort of comment now would there?
Which, once again, makes you wonder what are they hiding.

It means a place where you “concentrate” large numbers of people that you want to remove from the greater society. The WWII internment camps where we locked up Japanese-Americans (to our eternal shame) were concentration camps. Sure, we may treat people in our concentration camps better than the Nazis did, but that doesn’t change the meaning of the words. Merriam-Webster definition

Merriam-Webster definitionWhen I think of concentration camps the first thing that comes to mind are concentration camps of the Holocaust. Doesn’t matter what the dictionary says. Ayelet Waldman who is Paul Waldman’s sister is an author who happens to live in the SF Bay Area and she is Jewish. Her last book was about an event that happened during the Holocaust. She did a book signing at a local bookstore and I went with a couple of friends. Instead of talking about just the events in her book she talked about the Holocaust in general. Afterwards my friends and I were talking about it and felt as more time goes by, people who lived and survived the Holocaust are dying and those of us who grew when it was still fresh are getting to that point as well. So it was good that there are people like Ayelet to remind us of what happened during that time because now many people look at the Holocaust in the abstract, of something that happened a long time ago and either forget or don’t acknowledge it as a that horrific time in the history of the world. And they become careless with the words they use. Maybe when the last of the Holocaust survivors and us oldies who grew up during the aftermath of this time die off the term “concentration camp” can go back to what it means in the dictionary. Until then, those detention centers, as bad as they are, are not as bad as the Nazi concentration camps. So I won’t use the term.

I went to an Ayelet Waldman booksigning at our little local bookshop, too. I don’t even remember what she talked about now, but I remember we really enjoyed it. She is a little nutty, though. I bought her book but I don’t think I ever did read it. Her husband is Michael Chabon, also a bestselling author. And it’s okay, you don’t have to call them concentration camps if it bothers you. I just wanted to make sure we were all on the same page as far as the actual meaning of the term goes.

Bloomberg News... In May, 2019.
”Nuclear inspectors reported Iran continued adhering to its 2015 accord with world powers, giving European nations room to pursue their troubled efforts to prevent a total collapse of a pact facing intensifying U.S. pressure.
International Atomic Energy Agency monitors said Iran’s inventories of enriched uranium and heavy water remained below the thresholds allowed under the 2015 agreement, according to a restricted report seen by Bloomberg News.
It’s the 15th consecutive quarterly report showing that Iran has observed its obligations, and comes amid growing concerns that the Trump administration’s campaign to counter Iranian influence in the Middle East could spill into war.
The IAEA conducted snap inspections “to all the sites and locations in Iran which it needed to visit,” read the 6-page IAEA report that was circulated Thursday among diplomats in Vienna. “Throughout the reporting period, Iran’s total enriched uranium stockpile has not exceeded” the maximum permitted 300 kilograms, it said.”
trump today...
“Iran cannot have Nuclear Weapons! Under the terrible Obama plan, they would have been on their way to Nuclear in a short number of years, and existing verification is not acceptable. We are putting major additional Sanctions on Iran on Monday. I look forward to the day that.....
“Sanctions come off Iran, and they become a productive and prosperous nation again - The sooner the better!”
The only problem with the plan that makes it terrible in trump’s little world is one word and that is “Obama”.
The great negotiator has not been able to do any better in his “deals” then was already in place. My guess he will fail here as well..

Yes, I love children a great deal, but to me, it's up to the parents to do things rightfully and legally" What some Trump supporters think of family separations at the border: cnn.it/2tbn3xp” This is one of those assholes who thinks it ok to treat people as less than human. Seeking asylum is not against the law. This fools don’t understand what it is liked to live in country that is so bad it’s driving the folks out looking for a better place to live.

We have a landline. We never use it and never answer it. Nobody calls other than robocalls. It came bundled with our cable and internet. We are solidly not in favor of Trump. My in laws are in their mid 70s. They just ditched their landline 2 years ago, and just have cell phones now. They adore Trump. That’s fair, I just wonder if you’re the exception rather than the rule. We have a landlines phone that we depend on. I figured out how to block robocalls (they ring once and get cut off---hahaha!!!!). We rely on that phone because DH has a crappy government cellphone that he can't even hear on, so he uses it for emergencies, and I have an old Samsung Galaxy S3 with a very limited $15/mo package on it. Needless to say our cellphones are for emergency only. Besides, my family calls often and each time is at least an hour on the phone. My cellphone wd be too expensive for that + it would lose battery quickly. We don't get any poll calls, etc, but that might be because I blocked junk calls!

New York Magazine... ”NEW: Writer E. Jean Carroll says two decades ago, Donald Trump shoved her against a wall in a dressing room, pulled down her tights, and, “forcing his fingers around my private area, thrusts his penis halfway — or completely, I’m not certain — inside me.” Sounds exactly like his m.o.!!! Freaking creep!!! And for her to not even know if he was fully inside of her says a lot about his pens size (or lack thereof, which is consistent with other reported sexual notations about his genitals). I hope that she changes her mind and submits the dress, stocking, etc., just in case there's a trace of his DNA on there. I saw her on Lawrence O'Donell's show and her reasons for not pressing charges were odd (& sounded like she's still in shock by the rape).

”The WSJ reports that the purchasing managers index for U.S. manufacturers fell to 50.1, a barely positive reading that is the LOWEST in nearly a DECADE . Let’s not pretend that Trump’s erratic trade policies are helping our manufacturers or workers. The tab is coming due.”
Maybe this what they mean when they say trump is “Pro Business”

It took me awhile to get this plan all straight in my head. So, the first step is a workshop to sell an economic investment plan for Palestine with the goal of gulf states and other countries to fund it. Who’s going to believe this? Trump canceled aid to Palestinians. Why would other countries invest in something the US is selling when the US itself isn’t invested in it? Even if it were viable, thinking that economic investment will bring peace in the region is simplistic. The World Bank and later, Tony Blair, already did this and it failed both times. The key issues are land, borders and sovereignty! ??

”When our Country had no debt and built everything from Highways to the Military with CASH, we had a big system of Tariffs. Now we allow other countries to steal our wealth, treasure, and jobs - But no more! The USA is doing great, with unlimited upside into the future!”

“Speaking of debt, @realdonaldtrump, you said you’d totally eliminate it, but instead you’ve increased it by $2.1 trillion dollars. That’s $68,000 in debt owed by every man, woman and child in America. Debt declines in a strong economy. Your economy is a sugar-high fraud.”

Whatever small increase in pay we have received from the 'tax cuts' we are paying toward the tariffs!
