Just a quick note............. Trump is telling Ross to find another way to get the citizen info.........!! I posted this on the Census thread. (I guess he could change his mind again) President Donald Trump is expected to issue an executive action Thursday directing the Commerce Department to obtain citizenship data through means other than the US census, according to two people with knowledge of the plan. These people said Trump is expected to table his effort to add a question about citizenship status to the 2020 census, setting aside his demands last week to continue pursuing the issue despite a Supreme Court order blocking it. www.cnn.com/2019/07/11/politics/trump-census-executive-action/index.html

trump... ”A big subject today at the White House Social Media Summit will be the tremendous dishonesty, bias, discrimination and suppression practiced by certain companies. We will not let them get away with it much longer. The Fake News Media will also be there, but for a limited period..” ”The Fake News is not as important, or as powerful, as Social Media. They have lost tremendous credibility since that day in November, 2016, that I came down the escalator with the person who was to become your future First Lady. When I ultimately leave office in six......” “years, or maybe 10 or 14 (just kidding), they will quickly go out of business for lack of credibility, or approval, from the public. That’s why they will all be Endorsing me at some point, one way or the other. Could you imagine having Sleepy Joe Biden, or @alfredeneuman99,..” ”or a very nervous and skinny version of Pocahontas (1000/24th), as your President, rather than what you have now, so great looking and smart, a true Stable Genius! Sorry to say that even Social Media would be driven out of business along with, and finally, the Fake News Media!” He really is nuttier than a fruitcake. Um yes all those suggestions are better than his dementia addled self

There is an opening for Sec of Labor! GOP and Dems who approved him should be mortified they voted in a sex-offender cover-up artist. There is no oversight or accountability anymore.

"“(Acosta is) a great labor secretary, not a good one,” Trump told reporters, adding that Acosta did a “very good job.”
At the time, Acosta said his relationship with Trump was “outstanding” and he intended to remain serving at the “pleasure of the President.”
Earlier this week, White House officials told Politico that Acosta’s future within the administration was heavily dependent on how long he remained in the news cycle."
And that, ladies and gentlemen, is why the media is important and a key pillar in protecting democracy, along w/the military and the judiciary.
As for Acosta, I am BEYOND THRILLED that this has forced him to resign.

One thing I have noticed about Presidents though, when a crisis breaks out and the President publicly supports whoever like Trump did yesterday...within days they either resign or are fired. I just have a feeling that this Jeffrey Epstein thing is going to be HUGE. Hehe. I knew it would happen. I love being right sometimes.

There is much speculation that the SDNY prosecution is with the public corruption unit, not the regular criminal prosecutors.

ETA: It is not speculation, they had announced it was the public corruption unit!!

CNNThis must be trump’s vision of making America great again.. CNN... “US budget deficit jumps 23.1% over last year as debt crisis looms”“Washington(CNN) The US budget deficit jumped 23.1% in the first nine months of the fiscal year compared with the same period a year ago, according to the US Treasury. The deficit widened to $747.1 billion, versus $607 billion last year, from October through June. Federal spending rose to $3.36 trillion in that period, while revenue increased to $2.61 trillion -- both records. The numbers, released Thursday in a monthly report from the Treasury, paint a darkening picture for the US budget as the federal government runs short on credit.” Of course I’m not surprised. I mean what else would one expect from a man who went through bankruptcy 4 separate times.

Yes, that can be documented over and over and over again. Yep...every time. Trump bankrupted everything he’s touched, so it’s no surprise that he’s doing it to America and not paying what he owes to DC, Texas for campaign crap.
