birukitty , I’m taking a post graduate programme at a college. It’s one of our government approved schools, not a private or online school. It’s full time, 32 weeks long, and we learn all aspects of the industry. Growing, biochemistry and biology, the government regulations, pest control (can’t use pesticides). We have a lab (called the Cannabunker) in which we grow cannabis — all the steps, cloning, mixing fertilizer, etc. We also have work placements and opportunities with licenced producers. That sounds fantastic and what a wonderful field of study and opportunity for you! If I was well I would love to study and enter this field. I realize today after the last two days of migraines that this is something that will have to be put on the back burner for the mean time for me, if not permanently. But my motto is "never give up" so who knows? I've had them for 39 years but in the past 2 years they've become chronic-every other day is the usual pattern. I did look up a few schools yesterday and mostly what I came up with is online schools. I see exactly what you mean by the difference with what you described and the response you got at the expo. I'm so happy for you! I wish you much success and happiness as you go forward into your new career when you finish your course of study.
