this is love - phoebe judge
funny, quirky, sweet stories and her voice is heavenly.
revisionist history - malcolm gladwell
an incredible storyteller... he starts on a subject, moves into another, seemingly unrelated area and then skillfully weaves it all together.

this is love - phoebe judge funny, quirky, sweet stories and her voice is heavenly. revisionist history - malcolm gladwell an incredible storyteller... he starts on a subject, moves into another, seemingly unrelated area and then skillfully weaves it all together. This Is Criminal with Phoebe Judge is also great. They are stories about crimes, but not necessarily in a traditional sense. Like her interview with man who is world famous for streaking big sports events. It's criminal, but not in the way we traditionally think about crime. It has so many fascinating stories, and Phoebe's voice is the most beautiful thing. I am into true crime podcasts, and if you want a well-written serious crime podcast without all the chatter I highly recommend the Australian podcast Casefile. I have cried through a few of the stories, because although it has brutal content it is handled with such respect for the victims and the impact the crimes gave had on the remaining family. Because of Casefile Itear up every time I hear Elton John's Daniel on the radio. It's just storytelling at it's best. If you enjoy the banter and chatter I recommend My Favorite Murder and Last Podcast On The Left. There are also several quirky historical podcasts that are fun. Ridicoulus History, Stuff They Never Told You In History Class and Behind The Bastard (looking at famous bastards like Hitler and Bin Laden etc, giving an insight into lesser known parts of their lives)

I like the true crime stuff. My favorite is Crime Junkies. Currently listening to Sword and Scale. I enjoyed Cold, Dr Death, Dear John, Uncover - Escaping NXVium, Happy Face, Bear Brook, Atlanta monster and serial. Oh and a listen to Case closed as well. Ear Hustle is awesome - set in San Quentin prison. Love this one. On deck to be listened to at some point - To live and die in LA, In the Dark, The Moth, Finding Cleo, Missing Alissa, Up and Vanished, Casefile, Invisiabla. I tried to get into My Favorite Murder but just couldn’t get past all the sidetalk and joking. I love to talk shit and joke with my girlfriends but I don’t want to listen to anyone else go on and on.

i have so many. It really depends on what you like and are interested in!
NPR has a bunch of great content. I like to start my day with their morning new podcast called Up First. i have a 9-year old and he enjoys their Wow in the World podcast.
I have a TON of True Crime podcasts - many that have been mentioned here. Several politics podcasts. A couple of fiction ones from Gimlet - Homecoming and Sandra. I also like Dave Ramsey and listen to his daily podcasts plus a few from the Ramesey personalities.

I love to listen to people tell stories so I recommend the Moth podcast...true stories told in front of an audience...funny, touching, sad, thought provoking and sometimes all of the above. Each story is 5-10 minutes long so its easy to listen to in short bursts.

A few weeks ago, DS and I listened to 4 hours of Stuff You Should Know on a ride to NYC. It made the time pass so quickly. We learned about fainting goats, the social security death list, ayahuasca, and a few other things. They've been on for a long time and have tons and tons of episodes.

Oh my! You are the most wonderful people I have ever not met! I love podcasts, but don't always listen to them as much as I'd like. Today I listened to two episodes of Nerdette and WOW!!! I love that one! The rest are going on my list.
I am a school librarian and one of my goals is to have kids listen and make their own. These are really inspiring me to figure that out.

Dr Death. Local to me about a neurosurgeon who killed & maimed quiet a few people.
Gladiator. This is about Aaron Hernandez. I have absolutely zero interest in sports at all but I found this podcast fascinating.

I’m a true crime junkie so here’s my list with a few non crime ones:
Dr. Death- a neurosurgeon purposely injuring patients Case file - short stories of crime in Australia In the dark - Jacob wetterling case Cold- husband kills mom, search for her and to get him behind bars Someone knows something- case about a teenager in Canada who was killed Bear Brook- barrel found in woods with human remains Analysis of a murder by Dr Phil- first case was about Gypsy Rose who along with her bf killed her mom Root of Evil-truly horrific father/grandfather who did all sorts of horrible things to his family and killed others. Interesting story.
Rich Roll - vegan runner overcame addiction. Interviews all sorts of inspiring people.
Serial
