Pat your p[age is gorgeous! I left you some love. See I can still do paper pages. I like how I have my scrap room. My desk is in front of the window so I get lots of light! I think I may have it all right this time. I can get to everything easily! There are so many layouts I have to get a paper to take notes so I can leave everyone love! LOL

Nan, thank you. I'd love that file if you have it. If not, don't worry. I have something similar, circle cut file from Susan Stringfellow that maybe I can add Mickey heads to.
I use a Cricut and SCAL so use svg files.
Pat, that layout is beautiful. I had forgotten how totally elegant and dainty all your layouts are. Beautiful photo of your Chloe. Did you do the brick look with gesso and a mask, or is it stamped. It is such a great touch. Your layouts are all heirlooms.

Buffy your album is fabulous! That is a lot of scrapping! You did a great job with it! It boggles my mind-not sure if I could do it!

Pat I was up all night! I kept hearing noises outside and could not go to sleep. So to make a positive out of a negative I scrapped! LOL How was your trip? Did you have a nice time?

Cindy is Bob at the farm?? I hope you get to sleep tonight. We had a very good time. Just the long drive in a lot of traffic was stressful. But we did it & the ride home wasn't as bad as the way down.

He was at the farm-went down yesterday and came back today. A quick trip. I told him to go as he had not been there and here someone had mowed for him so he was not as far behind as we thought. Not sure what we are going to do this week with no kids! Tomorrow he is going to see his former chief form when he joined the fire dept.

Theresa, it's so great to see you! As I was reading Cindy's post about her DH being a fireman, I was thinking, I have to link Theresa's card here.
Cindy has a Silhouette too, so be sure to link the card. It is so cute. It has to be hosted somewhere else and then post the photo or link here.

Cindy, go to bed! I hope you get some sleep! I finished the companion page to my Disney page so I'm trying to remember how I post it here. I think this is right.  Journaling just tells about some of the funny badges Pixar created for Russell, like 2nd Aid (as opposed to First Aid), 2D animation, a badge with the Toy Story ball on it, one with a hamburger with a candle because the director saw a cake like that at a local bakery where they hung out after long days at work. |

3D FiretruckHere's the link to scrapbook.com's gallery where I posted the 3D Firetruck I made for my nephew Andrew's 19th birthday. He just joined the fire department (we're a big fire department family here). I bought the file from the Silhouette Store and it was a bear to cut out because the file wasn't set up so you could just cut the images out together. Had to figure out what color everything was supposed to be, move everything around and finally after recutting a couple of times got all the pieces. Then it was actually easy to put together. It's too big for an envelope (couldn't even make one) so would have had to mail it in a manilla envelope but it does lay flat like other box cards. I just hand delivered it instead. Not sure he'll get to take it with him if he leaves home because my brother wants it for his fire department memorabilia wall.

Theresa that is so cute! I am sure he likes it and will keep it as a special treasure. I kn w when Bob joined the fire department it was so special. I saved all kinds of things over the years and made him an album the first year I scrapbooked as a Christmas gift. It was wild as I had only been scrapping for a couple of months and could only work on it when he was gone.

Good morning girls,
I slept late so I am just poking around,lol... I hope to do some things today,it looks like it wants to rain and it is terribly humid. We will see.
I am hoping to go with the bffs tomorrow to lunch in Columbus,but I will wait to see how I feel. Pat,one of my friends has a birthday and so does Kathy,another friend. Nothing like food to celebrate1!
That firetruck card is so cute...who wouldn't love it!!
DS should be here for lunch any minute,so I should go..... Soon Come Pam

Good morning ladies! I wrote a post yesterday but our wifi was acting up and it never posted  I am loving both the digi and paper layouts! The Beaver Marsh pages are beautiful! What a lovely area. And I love the horseback riding pages too! So cute! I threw my back out on Saturday so I spent the majority of the weekend on the couch or slowly hobbling around lol. I have a chiro appt in a couple of hours, hopefully I'll get some relief! Guess I need to start seriously doing some core exercises! Started a page yesterday but didn't quite finish. I'm working from home today so I think I'll try to finish it during lunch if I can handle it. Have a lovely day! |
