Nylene -- this is our third child in 4-H. DS18 only did it for a few years because his soccer, basketball kept him very busy during the summers. My DD was a 10 year member and loved every moment of it! She even went and spoke at our local elementary schools to encourage them to join! DS13 will be a 10 year member when he finishes!
Alright, off to get our rabbit ready to go to the fair.

Hey girls! Boy, we are a chatty bunch! I love all the layouts-great inspiration! Welcome to SunnySmile and sbartist. Nan, I love the sign you made for your dd! Very clever. The discussion about kit scrapping reminded me of a class I took at BigPictureClasses.com a couple of years ago. I found the page for it, but I am not sure you can still get it. (It's hard for me to tell because I have access to it from taking it.) However, it was an excellent resource on ways to make scrapping faster and more organized. I have been praying for him and I hope he is doing well. My husband took his test for licensure as a Physical Therapist Assistant and we are anxiously awaiting the results! His test was very heavy in pharmacology and repsiratory therapy which were subjects his program covered only briefly. It's funny how some of those tests are skewed toward specialty areas that most practioners won't even use! I know Physical Therapists have to know pharmacology, but I am surprised they are pushing it so much for assistants. Hopefully we will hear early next week! I'm getting ready to scrap a couple of pages for the Iron Scrapper contest at Scrap Orchard. The grand prize is a Surface Pro and keyboard and second and third prizes are a really cool lens designed to work with smartphones! I would just faint, if I won either of those! Well, I hope everyone has a nice, relaxing Sunday! |

Amy, thanks for posting that link. I've heard good things about that class. I'm not very good at online classes. I get lost quickly, but I'm sure there are others here who would like to look into it. I hope your DH did well on his test. Iron Scrapper  that sounds like fun. Good luck. It would be wonderful for you to win! We stopped in after our canyon ride (and milkshake) today to see our neighbor. He has lost all the skin on one arm, his chest, midline to under his arm and his abdomen. But the only broken bone is his scapula. The dislocated shoulder went back in. He's weak and losing a lot of fluids since his skin is gone. They moved him from ICU today, but are being very careful to avoid infection. He will be laid up for a long time. He's a very spry, farmer, carpenter type and doesn't act his 85 year age. I hope he continues to do well. I'm going to sit with him Monday because his DD (a nurse) needs to go back to work. They are such great people. Thanks for the thoughts and prayers. BTW, Cindy designed a cute Pokey Badge for us. The problem is that our signature box is not big enough. I'll let her show you and give you some options. She's the best! |

No it has been giving me fits! It is fine you went to Photobucket- what ever works It ven gave me a hard time on bolding and underlining!
What happened to it?

These are 2 of our grands with DSIL and Russell. I made the Ellie Badge and the Wilderness Explorers badges with bottle caps and glossy accents. This is from a Susan Stringfellow sketch. It feels so nice to be scrapping again. So cute Nylene - I love how you all do the clusters of embellishing, I need to learn to do that. Can never get it to look right. What show is Russell from? How fun your DSIL works for Pixar! |

Put together a page this morning while the little guy napped - I love it when a page comes together. Been wanting to do a washi page for a while now. Sorry, you're going to be seeing my 17 month old a LOT, as I'm working on his 1 year album  Awww, your lil' guy is adorable. Fun selection of washi tapes used on your LO. Washi does not stick well here, so I only have about 4 rolls of the stuff, and never think to get it out! I do cut strips from scraps to use though. TFS your cute page. |

I would love to scrap at 5 a.m., unfortunately everyone else is still sleeping and I have to be quiet since we live in such a small space! Here it is almost 7:30 and I am still waiting. Hmmm, digi scrapping would be quiet!

Sometimes-I am doing a double pager and sometimes need weird sizes! Since I do both digi and traditional it depends on how many I have to print. If it was a project or a special album like Disney etc I would have them printed!

Hello,hope you are having a sunny day.
It's been a whirlwind around here,but I am having stone issues again,so I have been on the couch or in the bed most of the week-end. I am so sad that I didn't get to go to Jacob's b-day party yesterday,but I was so sick. He came to see me,and that helped. I have never missed a single grands party ever....
Today I am fever/chills free and hopefully recovering.
I have been seeing so many cute pages on our thread,good to see the new members too.
I did a page on Thursday for a DesignerDigitals challenge . It was mask appeal and is always one of my faves. I also did another last week but I can't remember which challenge it was for??
Well, I hope to chat again soon,stay healthy and happy... Soon Come Pam
I am remembering now,lol. It was called an elemental challenge. To use flairs. tfl! |

Buffy, those are incredible pages. What a treasure for your kids. I especially love that last page with the circles and Mickey heads. Is that a cut file? Your pages brought back great memories of WDW with my granddaughters. I was so sad when I finished that album because I was sure I'd never get to Disney again. My DH is not much of a Disney lover, but he went to Disneyland to watch the grands enjoy it. I wish I'd taken more photos of the scenery. Like all around Toon Town and a Bug's Land. Oh, well, maybe, just maybe I'll get another chance to go. It's on my Bucket List to take all the grands to a Disney Park. But I'd have to win the lottery to do that and lotteries are illegal in Utah! LOL!

Pam, I'm so sorry to hear you are having stones again and that you had to miss the festivities. Take it easy. You are in my prayers. I'm sorry you even have to deal with them at all. Hugs and virtual chicken soup or anything else that might taste good being sent your way.
ETA: Bonnie, Russell is from the movie UP. It's the one where the house sails away on balloons. Cute show. Very tender.

Hey all! It is warm and sunny here. I hope to get into some fun things later. I painted a new face yesterday and really like how she turned out. May work on another one today. Nylene I will continue to keep your neighbor in my thoughts. To only have one broken bone is amazing, I hope the doctors can ward off infections. I wonder if he would be better off in a burn unit instead of ICU.

Hello all. We had a great week-end & my DH was giddy as a kid being at such a big tractor show!! LOL. But the hours of driving are not wonderful. But we made it safe & sound. Cindy you were scrapping at 5 this morning we were in the car at 5:30 hitting the road. This thread is hopping!! Here is a LO I did last week, for a couple of challenges. Nylene-- continued prayers for your neighbor... so sorry to hear about what happened. Glad you were able to visit him for a short while. The circle and mickey head border on Buffy's page I created with the cricut design studio... I will have to see if I still have the file after our computer crash a while ago..
