So today I woke up to no hot water.. waiting on the plumber now he was supposed to be here nearly 2 hours ago.
My daughter called and she had a car accident. No one was hurt, she hit a pole. Single car accident. Bumper will need to be replaced!
On Wednesday I had to have major dental work done. My dental insurance kicks in August 1st.
This is going to be one of the most expensive weeks ever!
Oh and it was my birthday on Wednesday!
Anyone else having a shit week?

my son lost his phone again.. wake up ---you are 32 and should be able to figure this out!!!! at least he may move into a new apartment and get all his stuff out of my house...(costs are so high here..it is a difficult issue when you don't make much money).

Happy belated birthday!
My petty vent... my kids left for their dad’s tonight and I’m home alone for a week. I know I should be better at being alone but I’m just not. I like having someone to chat with and share a meal with and I’m lonely. Yes, I have friends and yes, I try to get out but most of my friends are married and don’t want me hanging around all the time.

Crappy day/week at work. I thought I was getting ahead and now feel I’m taking a step back. It’s hard when new management comes in and brings their favorite employees. I feel I have to work three times as hard to prove myself.

I found out that my much anticipated trip to California next month might not be happening.
I also got called to the carpet at work for things other people do but don’t get busted for. That’s always fun.

I need to have a tooth extracted (partially erupted wisdom tooth). It could be done in a dental clinic, but neither of the local dentists on my insurance will do it unless I go off my blood thinners for 7 days prior. My physician says absolutely not, it's not necessary, and would put me at risk for another stroke. So I have to have it done by an oral surgeon. Which I'm sure will cost a significant amount more to do. I go see the oral surgeon to be examined and to schedule the procedure next week. Not looking forward to it.

We woke up this morning to find the elevator - the brand new, just finished 4 weeks ago after nearly 2 months of work elevator- is not working. As it is Saturday, I am not hopeful that it will be back in action before Monday sometime. And we have guests this weekend, who will be leaving early Monday morning, so we will have to get suitcases down the stairs if it's not fixed by then. We are on the 6th floor.

She'll be gone next week, but I'm kinda looking forward to it cause she hasn't gone to her Dad's in over a year. (she's not going to her Dad at all this year cause he is an ass.) When she used to go to her Dads regularly I would save all the inappropriate tv to binge while she was away! |
