When you make your card bases do you use coloured cardstock or just white/cream?
Myself I would say I use white/cream 90% of the time. But I do like 100/110 lb paper for my bases, I do a lot of layering and need the strength.

I'd have to say about 80% are white, 10% Crumb Cake (kraft) & the rest a variety of other colors.

Mostly white or kraft, probably 95% I guess.

Lots of colored bases. I don't worry about it if they are light enough. If the cardstock is too dark to write on with a normal pen, then I just add in a sheet of computer paper, trimmed to size.

Mostly white or cream I think. The odd coloured one. If I add coloured card stock, I usually cut a panel and layer rather than using it for the whole base.

My base is always white or cream and then just layer a color in the front if I want color.

Good question...had to look at my gallery to see because I don't really think about it! LOL!! I'm 75% of the White and Kraft combination. But I like to use either color or patterned card bases too <-- basically trying to use up my scrap pieces. HA!

I keep on hand pre-made card bases in white, cream and kraft. My favorite is kraft. It's super thick like a grocery bag. I get all of mine at Hobby Lobby. They are Paper Studio brand and dirt cheap. It's just so much easier to make a card with a base like that. I can't even remember the last time I made my base.

I typically use a white base since I buy the card base/envelope packages from M's. Occasionally, I will use a color card stock or kraft base.

probably 80% white
every so often I go through my coloured cardstock scraps and cut card bases from any that are big enough so I do end up using some coloured (and I get some coloured card bases when people pass along scrapping supplies)

I like to use the premade card bases, too. Usually in white, sometimes in cream and kraft. Once in a while I will use colored cardstock.
