I wasn't joking when I said I was wordy, teacherlisa ... 464 words (without the song quote at the end) for this LO that I've been struggling to finish. My mother fostered a pup this summer and I helped out a lot. Alas, the situation wasn't ideal and ended with a lot of heartbreak (we have no clue what happened to her after we were told to bring her back immediately, we don't know whether she's been adopted, whether they continued her medical treatment since they didn't seem to care much, etc.). This was a LO I needed to pull out of myself and get cathartic with. I'm glad I managed to do that tonight. Digital 12x12 LO: 'Love always' about puppy fostering turning sour because of humans, not the actual poor pup, the heartbreak afterwards and trying to find the positive in the memories  so sorry for such a bad rescue attitude and situation. i just fostered my first with an amazing rescue in CA. i adopted my baby from them and decided to foster an older dog. he went to a great home. i got to decide who was able to meet him and adopt him. amazing experience yet heartbreaking that I couldn't keep him As the rescue partner discussed with me, my husband wasn't on board with this dog; my cats didn't trust this dog, my dog was jealous of him,etc. one perfect one will come along later. beautiful baby and beautiful layout! |

buggirl47 - what an adorable puppy - love your pages! thank you. I love him to death. he is my baby now that my boys are grown. Jägermeister is his full name. LOL. my son and I got him a week before he left for Air Force Basic Training and he named him. I think he has helped me so much with my youngest son gone for so long andmissing him so much as I homeschooled him for the high school years  |

Wow! Everybody has been really busy! That puppy is adorable, buggirl47 . Of course he deserves his own album! So many sweet photos! Your train pages are wonderful, Linda . Linda , that boy sends you such cool photos! Love what you did with this one! My ds sent me these photos as well, from Bark in the Park in Seattle in July. This is the last frantic LO before I start packing up for my trip to visit everyone. Except for a final page, the Summer album is basically COMPLETE and I want to take it with me. Linda , I love the photos of the locomotives. The white background with the gray mats make them stand out on the page. It’s so interesting to see the beautiful designs they used on them also. I love the layered torn gray borders.~ That red locomotive is beautiful and so sleek. Love the design you used on that page.~The yellow with black dots and the triangles are great background for your photos of this engine. Nicely done!~ I really like the way you have used gray on the little car photo. It makes me want to go buy more gray cardstock. buggirl47 , what a cute little doggie. I love the collar you made and the cute hydrant paper. This page makes me smile.~ This makes me giggle. They do look like a flock of seagulls. Cute little puppies!! Great pages. ~ Cute designs on your pocket pages. How many puppies do you have? Dictionary , I love your Read page. I really love your scrapping style. Clean and very classy. Your pages evoke emotion as everything leads the eye to the photos. This is so tender! Beautiful work.

Wow! You ladies are awesome! I am trying to catch up on the posts! So, grammadee - Your lake layouts have the best pictures. What a fun time! And I really like that "Lake Life" card! Your layout about the stops on the trip - loved how you did the title! Such fun to mix it up! And Bark in the Park! They have that at the minor league ball park that we go to a lot. Our kids always want to bring our dog, but I am not so sure she is ready for the public like that! LOL! But I loved the papers you used and the paw prints! So cute! linda - You are so productive! WOW! And I feel like I am getting a trip of my own looking at your layouts! I love that you scrapped the postcard. I often save things like that but sometimes I use them, sometimes I don't. And your Locomotive layouts are so cool! Great pictures and close ups. Love the torn papers on the page. sleepingbooty - Your dog layout really pulls at the heartstrings! I love journaling and it is nice to get a whole story down on the page. And you did it and made the page look so nice too! Dictionary - Oh, my goodness, your layouts make me want to go back to having little ones around again! And that picture of daddy reading to the girls! HEART!!! joblackford - I love your idea of the TN ephemera journal! Such a great idea! I always love to see your work on Insta! nylene - Your Disney page is so amazing! lynnek I love that pennant banner on your baseball page and all of the journaling on the DaVinci bridge page. Linda you are doing awesome on your album! Your son took some great photos. I have some train photos to scrap. Thanks for the inspiration. grammadee I loved the mixed title on your memories are in the stops along the way. nylene your pages always make me so happy! I now have photos in my flickr account, I cannot figure out how to add them to the group.  I read the administrations post too. Please help! I should probably scan my 8.5x11 pages, so they show up better. I don't do too many 12x12 pages. I just took a photo of everything.

Did you cut that with a Silhouette or other machine? Your little guy pages are really sweet, refugeepea. That has got to be the cutest scarecrow EVER! And I love the punny title on the sleepy page, and the cute little circles with the pineapples for the pirate page and the owls which are perfect for that title! |
