Government: Stay out of the bedroom, stay out of the gun safe. Since a gun can now be printed, all this is really a moot point. It really isn't. Have you used a 3-D printer? It's not as easy as you think for a random person to just print something and have it turn out well. Process for shooter right now: get mad, go to sporting goods store or gun show, buy gun, walk out and shoot people. Process for shooter with stricter laws: get mad, research printers and purchase one you can afford, learn how to calibrate it correctly, research and purchase printing media, assemble printed parts - after several days of printing - in such a way that the gun will not explode when fired, test gun, re-print and test again (repeat several times) ... and then maybe you can walk out and shoot people. It doesn't take a genius to see that one of these methods makes it much more difficult for the average person to acquire a gun and shoot someone.

From a Fox News..
”"I am here to say: Hell, no, you’re not," Lauren Boebert told O'Rourke during a town hall event in Aurora, Colo., passionately defending her rights under the Second Amendment.
"I have four children, I am 5-foot-0, 100 pounds, I cannot really defend myself with a fist. ... I want to know how you're going to legislate that because a criminal breaks the law, so all you're going to do is restrict law-abiding citizens, like myself."
The guns O’Rourke are talking about are AR-15 & AK-47. So my question to this woman is who in the hell do you need protection from to require either of these rifles? Is it a real threat or is it just in your head?
The way I see it when it comes to guns and responsible law abiding gun owners
Gun have one function and one function only and that is to kill.
Simple logic dictates the more guns “out there” the more innocent people die.
Way too many people who own guns do so for the reason of “just in case” or “what if” and have no real threat to their security.
The greatest source of guns used in crimes or by gangs start out life as “legal” guns. Hundreds of thousands of guns are stolen every year and a chunk of those guns end up in the hands of criminals and gangs. Less guns “out there” means less guns “available” to the criminals and gangs in the country.
My biggest gripe toward gun owners is the lack of responsibility some have toward guns. They treat them like an old pair of tennis shoes they can just leave lying around. Just this week another 5 year old shot and killed a 4 year old because Mom left the room for just a second. Who in their their right mind would have a loaded gun anywhere near children???
And then my other favorite proof of the irresponsibility by gun owners are those who think its a good idea to leave the gun in a parked car on the street, or even a public parking lot or garage. So irresponsible.
And now we have a group of , I assume, law abiding gun owners who plan on breaking the law because they don’t like the idea of the government taking military type weapons off the street. Even if it is law.
I guess they think they can pick and chose the laws they will and will not obey. But I shouldn't be too surprised since that is exactly what trump is doing right now, picking and choosing what laws he will obey. And getting away with it.

linkSo the woman who informed O’Rourke that hell no he wasn’t getting her guns wasn’t finished. And Fox News gave her an outlet to flap her gums. “Woman who confronted Beto O'Rourke on gun confiscation plans: 'Shame on him' for exploiting 'our tragedies'”“The woman who confronted 2020 presidential candidate Beto O'Rourke about his proposed firearm confiscation plans had even more strong words for him Saturday During an event in Aurora, Colorado on Thursday, Lauren Boebert rebuked O'Rourke's commitment to taking citizens' AR-15's. "I am here to say: Hell, no, you’re not," she said, playing off of O'Rourke's "hell yes" statement during the third Democratic primary debate. She expanded on her comments while speaking to "Fox & Friends" on Saturday, telling Fox News host Griff Jenkins that O'Rourke was wrong to try and use the memory of her state's tragedies to benefit his campaign. "Shame on him for coming to Colorado to expound upon our tragedies -- those are our victims and he came here to paint a picture for his own campaign trail and really, shame on you, sir, for doing that," she said. We were here. We experienced those losses. That was a community loss and honestly, those victims were defenseless." Boebert was apparently referring to a 2012 shooting that left 12 people dead and more than 50 wounded. Boebert also attacked gun restrictions, arguing that no legislation could stop the "evil in a man's heart." According to the Denver Post, Boebert, 32, drove three hours from the town of Rifle to Thursday's event and is the owner of a restaurant where the staff carries firearms. As she spoke, a handgun was holstered at her side. I have four children, I am 5-foot-0, 100 pounds, cannot really defend myself with a fist. ... I want to know how you're going to legislate that because a criminal by [definition] breaks the law, so all you're going to do is restrict law-abiding citizens, like myself," she told O'Rourke. Boebert also had a message for President Trump during her appearance on "Fox & Friends." "Our current administration absolutley needs to take a stand now, today and say we will honor the Second Amendment of the Constitution of the United States," she said. "We support our president. I love my president and I implore him: Please protect our Second Amendment. We elected you to do just that," she said.“ I’m really getting tired of stupid people mouthing off, especially when they get their 15 minutes of fame doing it.
