Trump just said he has a right to fight corruption, no matter who. Will he investigate himself??!!! And, he is really losing his cool now.

My first thought was also to investigate himself and is corruption! But his base and Moscow Mitch believe and support him! Just announced that they are going to spend a million dollars on ads calling out Biden corruption and supporting dt!

”Can someone point out the clause in the U.S. Constitution where it says "high crimes and misdemeanors" are permitted if the economy is doing well?
Richard Nixon and Bill Clinton are asking.
(Unemployment was 4.9% and 4.5%, respectively, when their impeachment hearings began)”

All the way down to zoning board member that stood up to him changing zoning for his projects. He has no bottom he will ( & has ) say anything regardless of truth to destroy those in his way. It’s the way he does business his whole life. Just look into the crap he pulled in AC & NYC to get his way.

John Cornyn...
”Now, the Trump Justice Department is investigating foreign government influence, VP Biden conflicts of interest, and possible corruption,”
Now even the a Republicans are acknowledging the Justice Department is trump’s instead of the American People’s
This tweet prompted these “clarifications”.
Steven Dennis..
”A Cornyn aide clarified that Cornyn's tweet saying that the DOJ was investigating the Bidens was actually referring to a possible FUTURE expansion of the Durham investigation into the Bidens”
Seung Min Kim..
”One more clarification from a Cornyn aide: “He was saying that the Durham investigation could end up also looking at the Bidens.”
Renato Mariotti...
“So in other words, there is no FBI investigation of the Bidens, and Cornyn misspoke.
Instead of going to the FBI to investigate Biden, Trump went to a foreign nation, because there appears to be nothing to the allegations.”

John Cornyn... ”Now, the Trump Justice Department is investigating foreign government influence, VP Biden conflicts of interest, and possible corruption,” Now even the a Republicans are acknowledging the Justice Department is trump’s instead of the American People’s That was my first thought as well, but in this particular case he was just using it to differentiate between the DOJ when Obama was President. Here is his tweet immediately proceeding that one. That’s not to say that Trump is not using the DOJ for his own personal benefit and that Barr isn’t completely on board with that. So much crap with this tweet too. Let’s start with the implication that because Mueller didn’t press charges that Trump was innocent. We’ll just ignore the fact that Mueller specified why SC couldn’t press charges due to long-standing DOJ policy. And that it is Congress’s job to pick up the investigation. And you know republicans will pick all of this misleading and incorrect crap and run with it as their talking points. And we’ll ignore the fact that under Obama the DOJ did not release information about this serious investigation to avoid influencing the election. That’s all they would have had to do and I think Trump would have been sunk. Ethics. The GOP should look into that. One more thing. Cornyn didn’t misspeak. He purposefully lied and mislead with his words. He knew what he was doing. People are going to glom on to his original statement and probably not even see his aide’s “clarification.”

I wish every time they brought up Biden's son someone would ask about or compare him to Ivanka. There is nepotism to the extreme.

Finally some common sense and a willingness to take their head out of the sand from a member of the GOP He should tell his daughter and the rest of the RNC. And open his eyes and make a stand about other issues, but I’m not holding out hope. I actually wondered if he thinks/knows this is going to sink Trump and he is planning on throwing his hat in the ring. I don’t think I knew his daughter was involved in politics. Off to check. But absolutely about working with others in the RNC/GOP to get them to step up and do their constitutional duty. They aren’t even willing to investigate when it is obvious one is needed; and publicly state that they are behind Trump, without even having read the transcript. I’d even be calling my Democratic Senators & Representative If they were pulling this crap.

Same point remains though. She’s been doggedly defending Trump throughout this.

New York Times...
”The Trump administration has moved to cut funding to the U.S. food stamps program for the 3rd time. The latest proposed cut would slice $4.5 billion from the program over 5 years, trimming monthly benefits by as much as $75 for 1 in 5 struggling families.”
Yet another example of how trump wants to #MAGA, by starving Americans that includes children.

He uses words like “appalling,” “sickening,” etc but has never gone a step further like encourage the Senate to rein in Trump’s outrageous abuses of power. His politicking is transactional, like Trump’s -- self-serving, ready to flip-flop as the need arises. Remember when he was so critical of Trump then wanted the Sec of State job when Trump won? I also recall he was rebuking Trump one time and they had a back-and forth, next thing you know Trump endorses Romney’s run in Utah, and voila! Romney says Trump is justified in forcing a gov’t shutdown to force Dems to give him money for his wall. I’ll be impressed by him if and when he supports Trump’s impeachment. I’ll gladly eat crow then. With ketchup and whatever else the Peas demand.

Like when Flake insisted on the investigation into the claims against Kavanaugh, but then accepted that BS “investigation” and voted for him anyway. But I am happy that someone on the other side is at least saying out loud for Republicans to hear, that Trump is full of shit. We complain that the right doesn’t even speak out when things like this happen, and this is an example of someone speaking out so I want to acknowledge that. If more of them did maybe we’d actually get somewhere.

”Pres Trump just told a room full of black Trump supporters that black people were a big part of building U.S. but they don't get enough credit for it.
He seemed to be speaking about the fact that enslaved African Americans were forced to work for hundreds of years without pay.”

And also because I don't think a woman who initially uses her maiden name to align herself with a male power base that seeks to curtail the rights of other women should be allowed to just shed that name like a dirty pair of underwear. Also see: Sarah Huckabee Sanders.
